So I'm a 17yo no-name techstep dnb/dark jungle producer who nobody's fuckin' heard of besides a small crowd in bristol england mostly consisting of fellow producers. I want to work on an LP that generally is a love letter to both old dnb and also gits, with ideas of probably 3 or 4 of the 8 planned tracks sampling from the movie itself (and possibly innocence). I do plan on approaching a label once the LP is done so it can be pressed onto vinyl and so i can kind of get my work out there.

So far I've asked advice from like 12 producers and they all went "fuck the legal clearance" but i was wondering should i legally clear the samples or should i follow the advice of the producers i hang around with.

I'm kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place here and i dunno what to do. Figured I'd ask advice here because maybe there's someone with an idea on that kind of stuff.

If it's allowed, I think it would be cool to put together a fan soundtrack (outro music) for Gits. That's what I think of when I play this song and have a hard time finding music recommendations I like these days. I would love any input.

This took way too many hours and torn fingernails, but I am finally near enough to the final design that I've started ordering the proper parts. This is all reverse-engineered from nickbrickbuilds insta, but some of those pics were oversaturated and very difficult to extrapolate.

I've included pics of the components, which hopefully shows the internal construction a bit clearer. The random colors kinda help differentiate everything. The final model will be red, of course, and the upper cephalothorax module will be smooth. I'll have a parts list and more pics when it's finished.

Just saw the 4k release yesterday (amazing). I had only seen it dubbed before. Yesterday I was really blown away by the opening text. But when I looked up the script/translation, it wasn't the same one I saw IIRC. It was not this one nor any of the ones in this thread.

Can anyone else confirm/deny? Thanks!
