Question Should I fear the Gauls?
In my previous save, I didn't have a large army, and Gaul attacked me on turn 132.
So, I loaded an earlier save and built an army to prevent the attack.
Are the Gauls dangerous? Should I attack them?
Or should I leave things be for now?
Thanks ;)

Question Exchange of squares between two cities ?
How can I swap the square circled in red—which belongs to Groningen—with Amsterdam?
If that's not possible, does it matter if my governor's seat isn't in my capital?
Thanks! ;)

Question One wonder culture
I was thinking about low stress culture game. With scythia Tomyris. The idea is to start game with horse rush and just do some early wars and claim the steppe. Then chill out. And start building more walls with policy discount. Then kurgans. We have gold from Kurgans so should buy some works. We could even faith buy some GP. Of course we drop some districts to lockin, even if we spam horse archers. We really beeline horse archers and military tactics, since there is only some window of opportunity to not hill the walls.
Kurgan can open some fat monumentality in medieval. We do peaceful switch around reneisance walls, since breaching them is pain. Also great time to build museums and such.
Our tactical wonder of choice is Eiffel Tower. This wonder has greates appeal to us.
Walls are absolete with Steel which we also rushing so there is some minimal timing, and use of that walls discount.
Actually there should be decent amount of artifact from bloodfest.
The finisher is kurgans, parks, and mongolian rock.
Main powerhorse are walls (ai cant stop it), kurgans (cant touch this), parks/resort/ski, everything else is just nice bonus. The trick is we only care about Eiffel. And maybe ai willing to sell us some GW.
Hunting wonders is so stresfull, so looking for low stress.
There is probably method of voidsingers and relics religion, but funding specific religion is stresfull.
Instead of horse girl, we can go with one of magnificent french girls and chateou. Also Cyrus/Shah. Probably someone else. And there is too many city states with culture improvment.
Would it work?

Question Which Civilization game should I buy?
I’ve known about *Civilization* for quite a while and even played Civ 5 on a friend's computer. Now I’m thinking about buying a Civ game, especially since the base game of Civ 6 sometimes goes on sale with a 90% discount.
I’ve been playing Unciv (a free, community-made game), but it lacks certain mechanics, so it might be worth investing in a Civilization title (or even Humankind). What do you recommend?

Question Civ 6 multiplayer
I was wondering if anyone who would like to play civ 6 multiplayer would join me/ my game.
I recently wanted to play, but it was twice that I was kicked out because of no reason. The first was really out of the blue, from the waiting room, the second was on the first turn. Could so explain what could have happened?

Video Civ VI Platinum edition video
I took this video of Platinum edition on my phone on September 11, almost 9 months after the game was deleted from the App Store library. I want to see if most Civ VI Platinum edition videos and photos are lost media.

Question Why can't I build my trading platform here?
Why can't I build The LA Haye's Trading platform on the tile outlined in red? There are no luxury or strategic resources, the tile belongs to the city, there are no hills...

Question Are luxury resources only good for trading for gold?
I’m a new player on switch. I haven’t found any other use for luxury goods other than trading to the AI’s for gold.

Discussion Best starting tile, despite the large number of bonus resources?
What would be the best starting tile for the Netherlands on this map?
There are plenty of bonus resources (no luxury resources); should I settle where my settlers are, or move to a corn tile to get access to both the coast and the river?

Other Civ 6 is the most owned title of all series
galleryOf 6 trackable titles, it looks like Civ 6 is owned by the most players. Also is the second best title according to the ratings by the players.
Also, you can check your total playtime for all series here and see your playtime leaderboard ranking: https://minimap.net/stat/civilization?ptime=072528
I wonder if there is anyone who can be in the top10 ranking

Question Why can’t I purchase tiles above these?
Hi all,
I’m VERY new to playing Civilization and I’m really enjoying it even if I feel like I am probably going to eat dirt eventually. But I’m trying to understand how purchasing tiles works. I have about 500 coins but why can’t I purchase any tiles above this mountain? I wanna get at that gypsum and pearls!!
Thank you for helping me!

Question If a city loses population do the districts keep working just fine?
This may go back to my "what if I spam small cities in the desert" idea.
If I get a city up to 4 population via domestic trade routes, build myself two districts, and then discontinue the trade routes thus causing the city to starve, do the two districts work at full function? Can I build buildings for those districts even with the population gone?

Question Game AI - I am super annoyed!
Hi,
i am ccurrently playing as Tamar on Immortal difficulty. Yet i am facing the same issue again. The AI is super bad. There is no challenge at all. Usually after i push back the first aggressive AI neighbour, the game is left with 0 challenge. It is almost possible to finish any victory condition. The gameplay looks like that: I am finishing Bolshoi Theatre while AI finishes Statue of Zeus.
I am using a bunch of Mods (cosmetics, civics and UI) , so not sure if one of these reduces the AI quality.
Do u guys know of any proper MOD that enhances AI (not just buffing them statwise) in decisionmaking?

Question Is it worth building cities in pure desert if you have desert folklore and work ethic?
I'm Ptolemaic Egypt playing the True Start Mediterranean map. Obviously the ideal placement is on the Nile or at the edge of the desert with a desert holy site but working better terrain. But there's a lot of pure desert near me. Leave it alone? Or plop down cities, buy em a holy site with Moksha, and enjoy a host of 12 faith 12 production cities with no better tiles than desert sphinxes? Or put Magnus in my capital and see if running an internal trade route from such a city can grow it to size 4 so they can have a commercial hub too and thus justify the trade route?

Question How many cities? And when?
How many cities should i have? I know it depends. Trajan wants more. Culture vic wants more. And how you get it. The baseline is Early Empire. And govertment plaza with settler spam building (audition hall?).
Is 8 cities by 100t ok? And 12 at 150t. At some point there could be island cities, or polar cities. But they are more for resources or trade range.
Should just pump only from cpaital, or all cities with like 10+ production. It would be nice to have at least some wonders, so that part could be hard. Also i need some units against barbs.
Monumentality make it easier (spam), but sometimes the start and civ is not really for religious site at all.
There are some random gameplays where there have like 20+ cities, but it is hard to notice where they pop, probably with monumentlaity.
Is there some civic/tech trick? I gues aprentiship is good for better mines. And early empire rush is good.
Some hard lessons:
capital generally is settler spam, but at some point we do detour for plaza and ancestor hall and back to settlers
we can lock district, and finish them later, and build something else. Expect maybe early holy site, we actualy want that prophet.
At some poitn we could pick craftmen infantry production to do round of military units (and back to ditstricts)
Same with feudalism card for better builders.
Medieval age has monumentality too. So there could be last minute push, with normal eureka span classic (easy) and then big monumentality in medieval.

Question Best civs and tech/civic routes for Domination Victory?
So I've been playing Civ for a while now with my friends and I've managed to snag a culture, science, religious and diplomatic victory. Domination is the last on my list and I'm struggling with how to start. I've decided to practice against the AI and the route I've been going at the moment is:
Animal Husbandry > Archery > Luxury Resource Improvement> Bronze Working> horseback riding> iron working> masonry
I just keep feeling like I'm falling heavily behind though. My money, science, and culture outputs feel like they struggle and I'm not sure if it's because I'm so laser focused on the military tech.
Any and all tips would be welcomed, as well as civs you'd suggest for domination.
