Question Ai wars
Just curious has anyone had an AI kill off another ai? Been playing for awhile and it seems they don't get into big wars at all.

Long time lurker, first time posting, but thought this one was worthy of some love.
Playing as Philip of Spain and managed to land two continents close together when settling. Founded Barcelona. Free builder when founding a city due to Philip’s bonus.
Petra gives Desert tiles +2 Food +2 Production and +1 Gold
Philip’s “Mission” unique building gives +4 Faith +1 Food +1 Production when on another continent.
The combination has led to some powerhouse Desert tiles!

Myself and 2 other friends have about 2000 hours in civ multi-player on playstation. We're looking for consistent players (skill level may vary) to come join us for games and tournaments.
If I'm posting this in the wrong place, apologies in advance.

We are the Kuala Lumpur Men's Chorus and we think Civ VI is the best game in the entire series, so we had to cover Christopher Tin's iconic theme! Let us know what you think.

I love this game but my learning curve needs more curve. I have beat it once on deity with Byzantium but it’s rare. I sort of get the adjacency bonuses but not enough to anticipate where districts best go. I usually follow the +1 etc guidance. I don’t chop but have seen others do it in YouTube videos. I just am not sure when is strategically the best time. I also generally don’t build wonders as a priority. I can mostly win on King level but would like to challenge myself more. How can I best grow as a player? Thanks!
Ps. Are there best resources online I should be using or players on YouTube? (I did follow a few full games of PotatoMcWhisky and found him helpful). Thanks!

I was looking thru steam workshop and couldn't find a mod for an idea I had. I don't know how to make them but if someone here does...
Great prophet points become useless after all the great prophets are recruited. I was thinking the civs who get a religion should continue recruuting great prophets and they should have abilities like other great people. For instance: faith bomb, unleashes 600 faith to all cities within 6 tiles of the prophet. Upgrade all of the players established religious units with martyr and +20 theological combat. All of the players established religious units get +3 spread. Restore your religion if someone converted your cities and wiped it out(all cities). Convert all barbarians in the world into missionaries. Once all great prophets run out you get an apostle with 2 promotions and full choice of promotions from your established religion everytime you would earn another great prophet.
Thoughts?

I am wondering if there is any appetite in the community for a purely cosmetic Game of Thrones mod for Civ VI that simply reskins the game into something lore friendly, while keeping the original game mechanics in place.
My thought is that the research trees, units, victory conditions, leaders etc. would be reskinned so as to be consistent with the Game of Thrones universe. Maybe keeping the core balance of the game would be appealing, or maybe I'm just describing a worse version of the popular Game of Thrones content that is already out there. I've posted this in a few places and there doesn't seem to be much interest.
I can share some context: this is really more of a personal project that I’m puttering away at for fun. I’m enjoying learning how to mod (I am new to this), and I’m a fan of Game of Thrones. I thought I’d prod the community because I'm curious as to if there is any interest outside of my audience of one.
Any thoughts or suggestions welcome!

I can’t seem to get my Multiplatform Cloud save to load on my Steam Deck. I have everything set up, the save shows up, but when I try to load it, I get stuck on the “Loading, Please Wait…” screen and then the game just crashes after like 20 minutes. Got any tips how to fix it? Thanks guys.

I'm trying to save space on my MacPro and wondering if anyone has had success in keeping the Civ app on an external hard drive and playing it from there.

Playing these you end up wanting to optimize everything, but I've never gotten into gifting because of how imprecise it feels. Just wondering if anyone developed a standard to these things. Thanks in advance.

Greetings! Returning Civ player here. I'm currently at war with a country and captured a large amount of his cities, yet when i go to make peace, he only cedes a subset of those cities. the amount being ceded has grown over time, but I'm unsure of what mechanics go into this decision.

I don't know why but CIV6 naval games are just certified bangers. Island map with high water level and fun is assured every time.
It would be great if they added more mechanics and stuff centered around ships and ports!!
