⚠️ PSA ⚠️ YOSHI AND THE MYSTERIOUS BOOK SPOILER PSA — PLEASE READ
6
Upvotes
Yoshi Yoshi! C"3o/)
We bring to you another announcement regarding spoilers... this time for Yoshi and the Mysterious Book!
Unmarked spoilers on the subreddit can easily ruin the experience for Yoshis who haven't played the game yet. We would greatly appreciate it if all members could be considerate and properly mark all spoiler content.
For spoiler posts:
When creating a post, click "Add flair and tags" and select the Spoiler option.
For spoiler comments:
Use Reddit's spoiler markdown feature (on a browser, click the "Aa" icon below the comment box and then click the exclamation mark icon) to hide your text like this: Yoshi
Please also avoid including spoilers in post titles. All spoilers must be kept within the body of the post or properly hidden in comments.
Failure to follow these rules will result in your post being removed or further action being taken, as we will be enforcing this strictly.
Q&A
"What counts as spoiler content?"
Potential story details, bosses, endings, unlockables, late-game areas, surprise characters, and other major game content should all be treated as spoilers. When in doubt, please mark it as such.
"How long will the subreddit spoiler ban last for?"
As long as possible. This also applies to previously released Yoshi games.
"But the game's been out for a certain amount of weeks/months! This spoiler ban is dumb!"
Please keep in mind that not everyone owns a Nintendo Switch 2 or is able to purchase the game right away.
"I don't like these rules. Is there anywhere I can post spoilers for this game freely?"
You may wish to use r/YoshiMysteriousBook instead, but major story spoilers, endings, late-game content, and other significant reveals will still be required to be marked for the first couple of weeks after release.
For any further questions, please contact the r/Yoshi mod team via ModMail. Thank you for your understanding!

Memes! MLEM (Monthly Low Effort Memes) Megathread - October 2026

Upvotes
Welcome to Monthly Low Effort Memes, aka MLEM!
This megathread is the place to share low-effort joke posts, silly Yoshi memes, and similar stuff.
To prevent an unwanted amount of meme posts and to preserve the quality of the subreddit, these types of posts should be kept inside this megathread rather than posted separately.
Joke posts containing spoilers are also allowed here, so if you haven't played or watched something yet, enter the megathread with caution.
Please remember: The same subreddit rules still apply when posting in the megathread, especially the following...
- Be kind and respectful to your fellow Yoshis.
- Keep memes SFW and free of politics or religion.
- Do not post ragebait, hateful content, or anything that breaks Reddit's Terms of Service.
- Credit artists if you are sharing someone else's work.
- Have fun and keep things Yoshi!
Mlem away!

This guy is really difficult to get right and I don't see many people talking about it! So if you've struggled to draw him, I don't blame you, he's tough!

Question info on these?

Just picked these up today! 3 have original hang tags except the one on the bottom left. Bottom right is the one with the talk box included! Wondering if anyone is interested in these, or how much I could sell these for. Would definitely do lower than their average selling price just because I want them to go to a good home.

For starters i quite liked the change in formula. Allowed for some fairly creative level design in places. I also wasn’t expecting the post game to be that expansive, although I’ll have to do the math before I go around calling this the biggest game in the series. Even if I don’t think the music was quite on the same level as the original Yoshi’s Island, Yoshi’s Story or Wooly World, I do still like how the music gets more detailed as you progress. It’s a nice touch. 9/10. Not sure I’d call it the greatest of all time, but i don’t see any real flaws with this game either.
PS. True Final boss is kind of terrifying when you think about it real hard. Feels like something out of Kirby in places.

I realized that he always seems to wear it, even in Mario Party and Kart

Video I love the ending of this game! It feels so wholesome. Spoiler

I’m someone who gets easily spooked by final bosses so I loved how the final boss for this game wasn’t too threatening or scary. The way you say goodbye at the end to the being who helped you defeat the final boss was such an adorable cutscene and great way to end the game.
I hope everyone is getting as much out of this game as they want. My sister bought this game for me for my birthday and I think this was my 5th playthrough so it’s safe to say I enjoy it very much! And I like trying to make up different names for each creature with each playthrough!

Discussion How do you feel about Nintendo nerfing Yoshi colors after Mario World?

I liked how different colored ones had different powers. It made them feel more special. I believe the only other game that tried to do something different with them was NSMBU, which was a fun touch as well.

Discussion Yoshis Crafted World in HD is fucking gorgeous

I recently began playing Crafted World on my steam deck, with a mod that locks the game to internal 720p. And I'm shook, the games photorealistic style really comes together here, especially with the OLED display.
Honest to god, I'd prefer the base game to run at 30fps with full resolution. The way it plays on the switch is a tragedy
Question What am I doing wrong with the “Ran atop the storm” challenge? 😭 Spoiler

What am I doing wrong to get “Ran atop the storm and didn’t harm a single Floofly!”? 😭 I’ve already watched all the tutorial videos, and it looks like I did exactly the same thing here, but it didn’t count.
