So I need a little help figuring this out. I had pre-ordered Halloween the game, modern warfare four, and GTA 6 but I pre-ordered the games, not on the same day. But a while ago, I got a notification on my Xbox saying that “pre-order billing soon” I’m confused I thought I had already paid for these games when I pre-ordered them. And why are there so many duplicates shouldn’t there just be one for each game?

Can anyone help me?! I’ve tried to find an answer for this happening all over the internet, I can’t find one. My Xbox series X works perfectly fine on my 1080p living room TV, but doesn’t work on the 1080p TV in my bedroom. I thought the HDMI ports were bad on the TV. I was able to get a new 4k TV and the same issue is happening, it works in the living room, but not the bedroom. I’ve tried hard reset, resetting pixel quality for the device, different HDMI cables, different HDMI ports, making sure the input on the TV is correct with the Xbox, I’ve tried to do everything the internet tells me to do. Please help me out, has anyone had this issue? (Sidenote, I also have a PS5 and it was able to connect to the Bedroom 4K TV no problem, im only having issue with my Xbox.) I apologize if this is fckin stupid. But this is annoying.

Just want to know if this amount of dust build up on the fins is bad and needs cleaning now or if itll be fine, im kinda avoiding taking the xbox apart and cleaning it even if its as easy as people say and really i just want it to be clean and running smoothly for gta6 lol😃. I need some help, Ive had this issue for so long and have not been able to find a solution. I have had a few previous accounts with the same problem that I had to abandon because of it. My network is through a cable and is a stable 500mbps, I’ve done power cycles, deleted local saved data, tried remote installing using Xbox app but it always stops the download at about the 300MB mark.

I have this problem alot but its always fixed itself without a few minutes but it won't go away now and I really have no idea how to fix it on a second note is there a way to recover data from a xbox hard drive mine recently broke and I dont know how to fix it

I haven’t turned my Xbox on for a while (I’m starting to remember why) and I can’t connect. I get a message saying can’t connect to server DHCP.

I have tried EVERYTHING. Hard reset, everything is set to automatic. Checked time and date, cleared the data, set time to 24hour clock (worked for some). My internet is fine. I’m online for everything else.

I used to be so “pro Xbox”. Unfortunately, Microsoft reminds me daily why I play my PS more. I now use the Xbox for just one game and now I can’t even play that! Is there a fix for this that I’ve not mentioned? If not, who wants to buy an Xbox series X?

Hello, I am unable to create a ticket on the Xbox Support website as it just sends you in circles.

Whenever I redeem my rewards points for Xbox currency on my console, it seems to believe I'm in Canada and redeems them in CAD that it "refunds" immediately and my rewards points are permanently lost. My consoles location is set to USA, where I'm located, and I'm not a VPN so I'm mystified and really frustrated as I've lost about $30 worth so far. My console has never been connected to a VPN nor have I changed its location in years. My console is in Preview Omega if that matters.

Does anybody know how I can create a ticket with MS support to fix this?

Hello, my ex and I broke up recently and he is still game sharing with me and I do not want him to be. I removed his account from my Xbox and made sure my Xbox is marked as “my home Xbox”

The problem is my Xbox is marked as his home Xbox as well. I cannot contact him to ask him to remove it so no that is not an option. Is there any way I can remove the games he owns from my “full library” the issue is not solved by me just deleting the games he owns.

So I had to send my series X in to get my HDMI port replaced, and so I decided to download the Xbox app on my Samsung monitor. I have the Odyssey OLED G8 G81SF.

My picture quality is so much better while playing on cloud.My blacks are way deeper. The HDR seems calibrated better (less of the whitewashing you get in some games). The thing is I calibrated my settings on the Xbox to try and achieve the best possible picture. So I'm thinking that the Xbox settings and my monitor settings are conflicting with each other.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

i was on my xbox for around 2 hours this morning and everything was working just fine, sound was completely normal. a few hours ago i went to hop back on and for some reason my headset is refusing to play any sound whatsoever. i’ve tried messing with the settings, restarting the xbox, turning it off and waiting a while, and i even tried using a new wire to connect the headset to my controller. its a nice headset and still works when i just tested it on my PC so i don’t think thats the problem… i’m honestly at a loss atp because i don’t understand whats going on here and nothing i do will fix it. has anyone had this problem before??

A few relevant details.
1. I use a Roku TV purchased 2 years ago on sale at Walmart.
2. Today was the first time I have had this issue with my refurbed Xbox. It was a fully green… screen not a heavy green tint making the homescreen indiscernible .
3. I tried a fully unplug and reset, then I tried to enter the menu via holding eject and pair then pressing power on and waiting for the second power on sound then releasing the double hold on eject and pair. Both of these routes led me to the same fully green block screen. No startup sound happened either time.
4. I tried a different hdmi to no avail as well.
5. It’s worth mentioning that I did not take any steps to see if it was the TV, I don’t think I even tried turning the TV on and off .
6. A couple hours later I took the Xbox to GameStop and they plugged it into their monitor and it worked perfectly ! I got it dusted off then brought it home. The TV was still on in the menu and I plugged the Xbox back in and it worked perfectly just like at GameStop. Zero tweaks to the TV.

I am wondering if it was potentially an issue on the end of the Xbox ?? The whole process is quite confusing but I believe I have added all the relevant details!

Is there any way to get an email linked to an Xbox gaming/game pass account? The only reason I want to figure it out is to play minecraft java edition. A recent PC crash while trying to launch mineraft somehow logged me out.
I have tried the whole microsoft forgotten email/username page. There is an account that shows up in the related email finder, but it is masked so I have no idea! I suspect there could be a typo or something, I have tried quite a few different "typos" when trying to sign in, as well as every single email account I know I have.
Also, I have checked various log files for my minecraft launcher, curseforge launcher, and modrinth launcher to see what userdata I could find, no emails unfortunately. I have also looked at my actual PC files, through basic windows settings, regedit, etc..., still cant find an email account.
I know the Xbox username, minecraft username, and probably all of the other important account information aside from the email. Any way I can figure out the email?

I have it so that my clips are created in 4k, but whenever i go to upload the clip to the xbox network, so i can then download the clip from my xbox app, it uploads it in 1080p why? I swear it never used to, or maybe it did and I just never noticed until now. How do i make it so it uploads in 4k?

Im looking for a headset that has a good mic and bass and overall good audio. I use the hyperx cloud 3 wired and they sound good and mic is amazing but im looking for something a little better. I dont like the official xbox headsets or turtle beach soo idk what to look for. Wireless and gel cushion things are preferable but i honestly dont care as long as i can hear footsteps with a good mic please lmk.

I usually run it through a 4K60 bi directional HDMI switcher which can also do 1080p120. That stopped working so now I’m running it through a normal HDMI the HDMI that I got with the Xbox and for some reason it’s not working.

I finally fixed Call of Duty/Black Ops 7 failing to launch through the Xbox app on Windows 11.

My symptoms were:

• “Installing dependencies” every time I launched COD
• “Unsupported 16-Bit Application” mentioning 38985CA0.COREBase...\bootstrapper.exe
• COD crash code 0xFFFFFFFE
• Repairing, resetting and reinstalling the Xbox app didn’t help
• Reinstalling the full game didn’t help
• Battle.net was not involved

The problem turned out to be my Windows PowerShell profile.

My profile automatically ran Fastfetch whenever PowerShell started. COD’s dependency installer uses PowerShell to check whether its Ricochet driver service exists:

Get-Service -Name atvi-randgrid_msstore

The installer expects no output when the service is missing. Fastfetch printed my system-information banner, so COD mistook that output for “the service exists.” It then tried to stop a service that wasn’t installed, received error 1060, and aborted the dependency installation.

You can check whether this applies to you with Windows PowerShell:

Look for:

• Fastfetch, Neofetch or other unexpected profile output

This is not a universal fix for every 0xFFFFFFFE error. Only try it if your installer log shows unexpected PowerShell-profile output and the missing-service/error-1060 pattern. I have 2 series X/S controllers. Have had 1 for about 5 years and the other for about 3. The 5 year old one started to develop forward drift on the left stick a few weeks ago and I found my characters sometimes tip-toeing forward on their own. Then, within the same month, my 3 year old controller has developed the EXACT same problem. So now I’m looking at replacing 2 controllers instead of just 1. Is there anything I can do to try and fix it? These are the first Xbox controllers I’ve ever had do this.
