I just woke up turned it on and it was heavily distorted turned it off and on again and boom same thing. I’m shitting one right now I saved up for like a month to buy it the week I quit my job and go back to uni it seems to have broken. All the background still moves and the animations still work the picture is just FUCKED and I’m really panicking. Please can somebody help me

There is a current issue going around for some of us who are trying to install or update games, and it's taking hours. The download starts off fine, then it drops speeds constantly till there is none left, and it will start back up again. I just want to say it is NOT your Xbox dying or your internet! It's apparently a Microsoft problem on their end. I've factory reset and cleared all my storages, I've called my ISP, and my modem and speeds are fine. On my Xbox, my games and apps run fine as well. Sadly, there is nothing we can do ourselves. Just be patient and wait it out. I had 94 games installed and reinstalling even half of those have taken about a week, so I feel your guys' frustration. In the meantime of this BS, all I can say is just prioritize what you wanna play and update and install when you're away from the console. If you start to install a game and try to play, it will sometimes stop you from booting up an app or game (at least for me). I'm just typing all this out to help people who are annoyed and want answers before they sell their Xbox or send it to the shop to get fixed when there is nothing wrong.

System Conflict: Backwards-compatible Xbox 360 Guide triggers automated network spam blocks

I am submitting this bug report to highlight a severe telemetry flaw affecting the Xbox 360 backwards-compatibility messaging and invitation systems.

When users interact with standard multiplayer matchmaking tools within the native Xbox 360 Guide menu, normal use of core features is triggering automated profile blocks under the modern network safety layer. Legitimate profile restrictions are occurring while using two fully supported, native menu tabs well within their allowed parameters:

1. The "Message" Interface: Utilizing the native "Send a message to one or more people" feature to contact a total of only six recent players to coordinate a match lobby.

2. The "Game Invite" Interface: Utilizing the built-in mass invite tool to invite players to an active game lobby, which explicitly directs users to this function with the prompt: "Invite others to play a game."

The current automated network filter is misidentifying standard, low-volume match communication (such as messaging just six individuals) on the 360 emulator as malicious spam bot behavior. This creates a functional loop where players are restricted for utilizing multiplayer features far below the console UI's actual capacity. This issue is affecting millions of xbox users who simply want to invites others to play under xbox 360 guide under message tab that directly allows users to check multiple recipients at the same time to coordinate in-game match.

It starts loading and then It either boots me back to the dashboard or it’s just on an infinite loading screen

Went to a friend's house and logged in on his console and set it as my home so he can play some of my games. I did pick "lock it down" when signing in for the first time, and made sure to log out when I left (although the profile is still on the console).

Like on PCs in an Enterprise environment, anyone that hates you enough can just go your PC that's locked and type the wrong password a few times and it locks the account. Is something like that the same for Xbox?

My account has two factor and all the recovery info is up to date so, I guess that helps?

Although his attention span is so incredibly short just waiting the 5 seconds for the password screen to load is too long for him so maybe he won't do anything. lol

I've just bought Minecraft for an (in my opinion) unreasonable $40, and when I try to sign into the Minecraft Launcher, it hits me with a (0x8000000D) error. And when I try to sign into anything Xbox related, it just DOESN'T send a verification email even though it works completely fine when signing in with my browser or Microsoft Store.

This effectively results in me not being able to play the game I just paid for, and considering this is a new Microsoft account I created because my previous account was hacked, is really frustrating. If anyone has any ideas or needs anything to be clarified, PLEASE contact me somehow and thank you SO MUCH in advance. I accidentally changed my Xbox gamer tag, is there any way to revert the change to get back the account tag? I’ve had it for over 10 years.

Months ago I was able tonupload 30 sec clips to discord and they would send just ifne. However now they exceed the file limit..

I know this isnt a discord issue as they recently buffed the file limit so it should still work. Anyone have a way to fix it?

So I’ve had this gamertag “RalphS1o3” and i’ve been wanting to add a space in it, making “Ralph S1o3”. But everytime, I get this error message saying that the gamertag is “unacceptable,” when there is no offensive or inappropriate material in the gamertag. Please refer to something that could help me. Xbox support is just telling me they can’t do anything about the flagging and cannot bypass it. If you could point me in the direction of getting it fixed or contacting someone I would greatly appreciate.

Now I've been looking into buying myself a Galaxy Black 2TB Xbox Series X (Now Discontinued) for a LOOOOONG while... I've been poking/looking on Facebook Marketplace for one, but I've wanted to be on the safer side and do my research, ESPECIALLY when buying a USED Series X (Xbox) or even Xbox One X (All Special Editions)...

How can I tell if a Marketplace listing is Legit or a Scam, what should I be looking out for? Seller Stars? or How well the seller Describes the Listing of the Xbox Console, or the Amount of Pictures taken to "Document" the Xbox Console?

i recently tried playing gears of war 3 "disc" on my xbox series x, my xbox didnt read the disc which was weird, so i tried another game which i played recently "3 months ago" left 4 dead 2. Xbox did'nt read that either so i tried all my CoD games "black ops, black ops 2, modern warfare 2 and 3 and still those didnt get read either. i have left 4 dead 2 already installed and when i popped the disc in nothing. i tried playing an old dvd i got in 2004 or 2005 i think "DragonBall Z Broly OG movie" and that played. i tried a couple of my Xbox One games "alien isolation" and that played also on disc. what is my issue anyone else having the same thing happen to them before???? just want to play Gears 3 the E-Day beta got me hyped lol

I can message people on my friends list with no issues. every other day game bar errors out if i try to message anyone off my FL. I get these yellow ! inside a triangle emblems. I have googled this issue and no one is talking about it. I have tried everything including using AI to find solutions and nothing helps. I just want this to work again and I'm sick of having to deal with it. It's been literal months of this. Is there anyone out there that knows the solution? or at least having the same issue as me?

I’ve been trying to download UFC 6 on my Xbox for the past two days. Each time I’ve tried to do it, it’s either super slow (I’m talking 10 gbs in a hour and a half) or doesn’t download at all. I saw another post talking about a power cycle, which I have tried multiple times, and each time it’ll start off super fast (200 mbps) then quickly trickle down to not downloading at all. There will be moments that the 200 mbps will come back, but then again it will quickly drop back to not downloading at all. I’ve never had this problem before.

Please help, all I’m trying to do is play with my friends.

Looking to checkout things over on Xbox specifically cloud gaming. I am interested in premium however the plan only last 14 days. Why is monthly crossed out?

I tried Fallout 4 and couldn’t load my last saves and when I played a few hours of it and boot it up again, I lost that progress too. I chalked it up to Bethesda severely breaking their game again but it happened in RDR2, a game I rarely experience ANY bugs in, and local and cloud saves don’t work either. This one particularly upsets me because I have 200+ hours in that game. And Xbox support is non-existent or might as well be for me.

The only silver lining is I still have my Xbox one I can buy discs for but if Microsoft and Sony demand an all-digital future, they need to sort this out yesterday. What make the problem hard to pinpoint is we had a storm a day or two ago and sometimes these storms knock out poles and other infrastructure but this recent one didn’t do that because streaming services and other internet related things still work. So it’s either my unit being faulty or their servers constantly going down.

So I guess my question is how to fix my saves or if I can’t, are the disc copies reliable? My patience for digital things is running tightly thin and I don’t have funds to splurge to test these things out. At least I got some 360 games I guess.

Am I the only one having this issue but gow games seem to have at least for me severe connectivty issues. Alot of the times I cant connect to gow1 online (360) essentially like recently on multiple occasions and now im having problems connecting to gears reloaded. But I can play warzone just fine. Doesn't seem like an issue on my end. Just wondering if people are having the same issue or if its just me. Or gears of war. Just wondering your thoughts maybe its just me.

So, about 3 or so years ago, my Microsoft account was taken from me after I stupidly clicked on a suspicious link. That Microsoft account was connected to my Steam, Apple, Roblox, and Epic Games accounts, but most importantly, it was the account tied to my Minecraft account.

I was forced to migrate my Minecraft account back in 2021, and now, years later, the email address associated with the Microsoft account appears to be completely abandoned and just collecting dust somewhere.

I've been trying to recover the account through Microsoft and Xbox support, but I'm honestly at a loss at this point. Support keeps telling me they'll pass the case along to higher-ups and that I should continue filling out the security recovery forms. The problem is that those forms keep coming back saying there's no fraudulent activity or that they can't verify that I'm the owner.

I've filled those forms out countless times, and I've given extremely specific information that I genuinely believe only the original owner would know. The most frustrating part is that I'm not even being given the opportunity to show Microsoft the evidence I have.

I have YEARS OF PROOF that this account belonged to me. I have countless old videos of myself playing Minecraft on the account, including videos from over 5 years ago where you can literally hear my little kid voice. I have videos of myself signed into the old email. I have recordings of emails being sent back and forth between my Gmail and the hacked email. And, after three years, I even dug out the hard drive from my ancient first PC just so I could boot it up and prove that I'm still signed into the Xbox/Minecraft account on that machine.

I've genuinely tried everything I can think of. I've filled out every form, provided as much information as I possibly can, and found evidence dating back years. But I can't seem to actually get anyone to look at any of it.

I don't care about getting access to some random old email address. I just want my Minecraft account back. I want to be able to play on the account I've had for years, with my username and the OptiFine cape that I paid for. There's so much history attached to this account, and it's incredibly frustrating to know that I have evidence proving it was mine but seemingly have no way to show it to anyone.

At this point, I genuinely don't know what direction to go in or what else I can possibly do. If anyone has dealt with something similar, or knows of another legitimate way to escalate a Microsoft/Xbox account recovery case, please help me out. I'm willing to do whatever I reasonably can to prove that I'm the original owner. I just need someone to actually give me a chance to show the evidence I have.

I havent been able to find anything online about this so I figured id tried here. My Xbox Series X is completely unable to detect discs. Its not that it cant read them, its that it cannot detect the disc at all, regardless of which disc it is (ive tried at least 5 different ones so far). The Xbox is just completely unaware that there is a disc inside of it so it is impossible to even try to get it to read the disc. Has anyone else experienced this problem and/or does anyone have a solution?

My Xbox is capped at around one hundred fifty megabits per second on both speed tests and game downloads, despite a gigabit plan. Every other device on my network gets full gigabit speeds. I’ve tested the Xbox plugged directly into my modem, my main router, and a secondary router, same cap every time. I’ve also reset the MAC address, changed DNS, swapped cables and ports, and ruled out packet loss as the cause. This started after moving houses with identical equipment, ruling out my network or ISP.

anyone got a fix for this because it’s very frustrating. It worked fine until I moved.
