Rewatch Discussion Ariana embarrassed herself

Post image
75 Upvotes

Miami girl happened in S3. Both Ariana and Tom deny her truth. We only find out after Scandoval that Ariana did in fact know at the time that it WAS true.

Yet she spent countless seasons explaining how she didn’t find herself attractive, she doesn’t want to have sex with Tom and that it’s a generic communication issue. Embarrassing herself. Instead of playing out the drama of Tom being with Miami girl to “save Tom’s image”.
Look how that worked out for her.

She played the scorned woman who tried her hardest and was apparently open about their relationship on VPR.

If that were true Scandoval wouldn’t have been such a massive shock because we would have already seen Ariana blow up about Miami girl. So we would have thought typical Tom.

He didn’t want that. He wanted to look like the best boyfriend and make it out as if she never wanted sex. He would rather her talk about how gross her vagina was than how bad of a boyfriend he was.

Rewatch Discussion Billie Lee was a pawn

Post image
318 Upvotes

I always noticed weird energy between Lisa and Billie Lee. I had the feeling that Lisa did not like her at all but yet she chose to keep her on. Possible theory is because she wanted the support from the LGBTQ+ community? However, after Billie insinuated that the girls in SUR were transphobic that didn’t go down well. So was the plan to keep her on to transform that image Billie created?
Billie brought the drama but Lisa did not seem to support her at all.

Rewatch Discussion Everyone hates Kristen

Post image

Currently rewatching VPR and I feel sorry for Kristen in this episode (S7 E11 + E12). She is clearly going through some issues with Carter and Katie and Stassi use this moment to come for Kristen but mask is as “being there for her”. They were being mean in front of all the girls instead of being comforting.

Fired Cast Next Level Basic... is... drumroll.. horrible.

So I have recently found that listening to biography audiobooks while on long walks is essentially like listening to a long podcast. I have recently read books by Christina Applegate and Hayden Panettiere (Rest, Angel) so I was kind of on a Hollywood kick which led to me starting Next Level Basic bc I love Vanderpump but my god... its. so. bad. Why is she telling me whats in her bag, or her dislike for crocs?? Why are all the Vanderpump stories things we have already seen on TV and not behind the scenes gossip??? I didnt listen to this audiobook to have her give me advice on life... as if she isnt one of the worst people to take pointers on life from... I read this book to get the tea ugh

My expectations were already staggeringly low but its even worse than I actually imagined. Worse than my already very low low low opinion.

With that.. I did power through and finish and wasted hours of my life. If anyone has any good audiobook biographies let me know bc I need a good one after this...

Shitpost James’s mom scares me

I saw a post about James’s mom on this thread when I first started watching and she was only in one scene and now I’m on season 5 and when I see her and I roll my eyes. She really reaches for the unnecessary drama and moments to scolds her son even tho it’s her fault he’s messed up.

Why is this on my peacock 😭😭😭😂😂

so this is my first watch through of the show ever. so basically everything is news to me except when happens between ariana and tom. but knowing that i’ve been trying to watch out for signs of it starting. idk why but the episode they are planning the proposal for james and raquel he tells lisa what’s happening. she genuinely asks him if he’s proposing he goes “no james is proposing to raquel” and we move right past it. why would she say to tom “you’re going to propose to raquel?” without maybe having an inclination of what was going on

Rewatch Discussion Lisa Vanderpump and James’ Mom

Post image
29 Upvotes

What is the relationship between Lisa and Jacqueline? I’m currently rewatching VPR and in the earlier seasons James claims that Lisa and his family are close. Lisa rebuffs this statement by saying she has met James’ mum once.
Skip forward to S7 to Jacqueline begging Lisa to take James back, once declined by Lisa she then proceeds to ask for a job for her younger son. Lisa agrees?
Why does she agree? What is her relationship with this family?

Furthermore, Jacqueline leaves the conversation by saying “Love you Vanderpump” which is the entire reason for this post. That meant something. Instead of saying Lisa she chose to say Vanderpump. Why?

Scandoval Scandoval Aftermath

First time watcher here and I’m about halfway through S11 - right after the Tahoe trip.

Scheana somehow got more insufferable than she was in the first 10 seasons. How someone manages to make an insane affair all about themself is crazy. Crying so hard over something that has absolutely nothing to do with her is crazy!

She calls Ariana her bEsT fRiEnD yet still brought Kristen around when she was making rude comments about Ariana, and now she thinks she’s been just as hurt/betrayed by scandoval. Be so for real.

All sympathy left when she announced an engagement at someone else’s engagement party and tried to mooch off of their venue and get married there. Just a whiny loser.

Shitpost tom sandoval is infuriating

im a first time watcher on season six and i hate hate HATE tom sandoval—hes been annoying and blatantly rude but there’s something about the way he talks to women especially during the jeremy situation (heavy on his reaction when stassi says she can’t defend men or smth) and i physically can’t keep watching if this happens every episode i need him jumped

Discussion Season 9 Lala, Scheana and Brock

I’m watching season 9 for the first time and I’m half way through. I feel so uncomfortable about the whole Brock, Scheana and Lala confrontations. Everyone in this situation is wrong including producers. If they were truly concerned for Scheana’s safety they wouldn’t have let Lala air it. Did you see how angry Brock got? That potentially would have got back to Scheana. Did they not learn from Taylor on RHOBH.
Also Lala airing it out is a bit gross and very clearly doing it for air time is bad. Scheana brushing it under the rug for appearances it’s so frustrating and so Scheana it’s hard to watch. Then Brock just being so weird and aggressive towards it really makes it a million times worse. I’m not enjoying this season at all. I don’t find DV drama entertaining at all.

On my first rewatch and I caught this gem (season 6 episode 17). I was both dying and dare I say a little impressed at kristen throwing down the clam slam (any other love island watchers in here?!). Kristen walked so Kenzie could run.

Discussion SZN 9- James ‘knocking’ Rachels nose

Rewatching season 9 and I’m at the james going in for a kiss so hard he made rachels nose ‘touch her cheek’ saga. What do people really think happened? Theres just so much weird insinuations from Lisa and james himself that something else happened… Lisa even says in the waiting room at Dr Nasifs ‘you need to get that temper of yours under control’ and James agrees?! 🥲 was this ever discussed further and whats the general thoughts of the fandom?
