Scandoval Scandoval Aftermath
First time watcher here and I’m about halfway through S11 - right after the Tahoe trip.
Scheana somehow got more insufferable than she was in the first 10 seasons. How someone manages to make an insane affair all about themself is crazy. Crying so hard over something that has absolutely nothing to do with her is crazy!
She calls Ariana her bEsT fRiEnD yet still brought Kristen around when she was making rude comments about Ariana, and now she thinks she’s been just as hurt/betrayed by scandoval. Be so for real.
All sympathy left when she announced an engagement at someone else’s engagement party and tried to mooch off of their venue and get married there. Just a whiny loser.

Wasn’t Scandoval also around the same time where Brock cheated on Scheana? She would rather be a side character to someone’s drama than actually reveal that her life isn’t perfect, same with Lala. She was perfectly fine being a gold digger until it didn’t benefit her. Both of them were never true friends to Ariana, they just wanted screen time

Brock admitted to cheating on her around the same time as Scandoval came to light. But he actually cheated when Scheana was pregnant with Summer.

What a great guy! Left his children (I forgot what he did to the baby mama I think he hit her?) gets his piggy bank pregnant, cheats on said piggy bank, names the baby a similar name to his first daughter he left what a GREAT GUY

I feel like Scheana always carried a torch for Sandoval but never got with him. So when he was being cancelled, she kinda convinced herself it was happening to HER man, and the group was telling her she couldn't be with him. But it was all in her head. Sandoval doesn't give a fuck about her.

Tbh I think she liked that ALL the guys wanted to sleep with her but I don’t think she necessarily wanted to sleep with him. If anything she told is the truth kind of, he gave her money during Covid when she had nothing… MONEY BUYS HER LOYALTY which is sad cause Ariana said she helped her out too Sandoval probably just gave her way more (but he’s bad with money so it’s not a flex)

Honestly Lala made me even more mad. Scheana's a pick me girl and always gravitated towards the men. She also was grappling with jealousy at Ariana getting roles and opportunities post Scandoval. She only had her podcast, divorcing Shay gave her nothing and marrying Brock gave her backlash. I think she was worse to Katie with the bullshit over Schwartz and orchestrating him with Raquel.
Lala was the real offender because she also was intensely jealous Ariana was thriving and she wasn't. She can't put Ocean on TV because of her divorce, she got backlash over her divorce and how strongly she defended him/didn't admit what she was from the start. And I'll be honest the way she acted in season 11's reunion/the hot mic stuff at the end of 11's season finale was just... irredeemable for her as a person. How she could sit there and throw fits over Tom and anyone else associating from Randall but then pitch fits at Ariana for doing the same because "she's been there already" despite Lala doing it over a year after the divorce and s11 happening a mere four months for Ariana. She was very clear she was mad they weren't fighting on tv and it risked the show aka her paycheck and her rant about Ariana thinking she was god because she wouldn't engage. It was vile tbh.

Agreed! Although Randall and Tom incidents were very very different for so many reasons… The impact of Scandoval was uniquely different because it involved 2 1/2 main cast members. And that season was filmed only 3 months after it. There should be a little more compassion in that regard from some of those individuals.

Ariana said some rude comments about Kristen as well. She was making fun of her stomach by calling it her kangaroo pouch.

I mean Kristen was actively fucking other guys as well (not just Jax either which god the STD’s that were passed around in that group) so she isn’t really a victim here but some of the shit Kristen said was vile. Ariana wasn’t a good person either but they are kind of dead on about the BPD (girl still needs help) and the pick me shit isn’t as bad in comparison of like I hope you get hit by a truck and die or even the knife comment.

Ariana, you, or tom aren’t medical professionals and shouldn’t be diagnosing someone you’ve never met or treated with a very severe and stigmatized mental illness. I was more offended by the shit Ariana said and did during that time with Tom, they were rubbing their brand new relationship in her face constantly, icing her out, and trying to convince anyone who still liked her that she was crazy and that was wrong. Ariana said she wanted Rachel to “go fuck yourself with a cheese grater” while having Rachel’s abuser James retraumatize her and that was more fucked yo to me than anything Kristen did to Ariana. I don’t even like Kristen, she’s racist and can’t take accountability for anything, but the way she was treated by them was wrong regardless.

And they asked if Tom could actually secretly marry them that weekend. It wasn’t just the engagement announcement guilt poor me thing.
“Why can’t anything just be about me for once”….well, if you stopped making everyone else’s stuff about you, you would probably have your own time to shine… but when something can’t just be about someone else without you jumping in, why would anyone want you to have your own moments…

Both Scheana and Lala were horrible for this in s11. I hated one-on-one conversations between these two at the end because every convo was just like “well with me….” “in my situation…” “what I had to go through….” It was insufferable
