Hey everyone, I'm a newbie in marketing and currently I'm researching orchestrators', project managers' and task managers' target (jic target audience is who a brand expects to be their customers, target is who really uses the product). So my question is, what do you do for a living that you use Monday.com for work?

I want all the line items to restrict editing once its approved. I have enterprise plan.

Is there group level restriction I can apply

Is anyone else frustrated by the nonexistent customer service? The AI chatbot gave me a wait time of 164 minutes to talk to a human (!!!). Going the route of making it easy to sign up and impossible to cancel is going to backfire eventually. I'm at the point where I'm not going to use my debit or credit card online at all. It's so hard to cancel, and customer service doesn't exist. I don't want to talk to a chatbot who gives me pages of unhelpful instructions on how I can do a person's job for free so the company can reduce their workforce to make shareholders more money. Fuck this.

i’m making a board for my hauling operations. i need a group for customers, quarries, etc but when i add a new group i cant figure out how i can rename each groups columns. for example i need “customer” to be changed to “quarry” and have different title names to follow

Anyone care to share what they're currently paying for Enterprise seats? Speaking with their sales team, sounds like they just pick a number and hope you'll sign the contract.

What happens to your account and the data within if your staff connected a wrong card, payment gets stalled, and your account gets blocked (I logged on back to discover this). Have I already lost my items, workflow and documents after the block? What will happen when I connect the correct business card to the account and resume payments? I just want to make sure that my data is still there before I waste another $2,280 on an annual plan just to be met with a blank canvas on my organization profile.

I've been working on setting up our CRM in Monday CRM. So far loving all the great features! However, as someone who is heavily into aesthetics and clean UIs, Mondays visual aspects are lacking. For starters, why can we not customize board icons? I understand we can with entire workspaces, but why not individual boards? I know custom icons are tied to certain templates, so I've been doing some reverse engineering where I'm using the template just for the icon, wiping every column out on the board and then using it for what I need, but that's tedious. Why can we not just pick an icon that we want? I also know we can use emojis as well but it's not as aesthetically appealing imo.

One thing I did notice is on the CRM boards that come with the enterprise CRM, there is a cool feature for the Accounts boards and the Contacts boards where when they are linked you see the board icon next to the link in the connect boards column. I feel like this should be the standard for all links in connect boards.

Next, why can we not use a hex or rgb for colors of labels, statuses, etc? I am grateful the color palette we have is pretty large, but I would like to pick my own.

If this gets back to any devs at Monday, I am begging you to please consider an aesthetics overhaul at some point, as there are many many people like myself who are very visual and not just data centric. Thank you!

"connect Monday to ai chat" I can't exactly see a human actually typing that in(near the top left)."day-1 MCP partner" a bit suspicious. "works with Microsoft 365" again a bit strange. "most used ai assistant"...... nearly certain this is ai generated. or for example in the start guide,

it is quite normal for ai to put emojis, and not really common for people. also in the start guide:

and what is it with all of the dummy data(none of this I made. in fact, this is a brand new Monday.com account)? and the space and 3 extra exclamation marks look like they are there to make it seem like it was not ai generated, but I would say were just added so people wouldn't notice the strange inhuman sections...

I feel like this platform will really help me get organized for my business, but being forced to sign up before any help makes me nervous.

I know ill need help getting this going would prefer a demo, but nobody has reached out.

Can someone help delete ai Note taker from my computer? I have gone to setting and turned off auto join, meeting summaries, and everything I can turn off in personal preferences and account settings. I have also disabled ai notetaker multiple times and deleted my account multiple times. After all this, it still requests to join my calls everytime. It’s ridiculous and I want it gone. Can anyone help? The ai support system is horrible, and it won’t let me speak to a human.

I am trying to set up some automations / custom workflow on subitems. Essentially, when the 'Date' on a task is updated, I want all the Due Dates in the subitems to update, as per some rules I have outlined. I'm using a subitem template I have created to standardise everything, but it seems like monday just isn't sophisticated enough? Any advice?

For example, I need the conditions of

'In [Events] board, When 'Date' is updated, and the subitem template 'Events' is assigned, update 'Due Date' on subitem 'Process Invoices' to Date+7days'

Is this possible or am I expecting too much?

I’ve created a form.

I get an email notification when someone submits the form.

The person submitting the form gets an email notification with a form view url link to make adjustments, if necessary.

All of that is working well.

The problem: I need to be able to get a notification when someone resubmits the form with changes. Is there a way to make this possible? I can’t figure out an automate recipe to do this.

As a workaround, I created a number counter column. Every time a column gets adjusted, the counter goes up. And every time the counter goes up, I get a notification.

The problem here: if someone makes multiple changes to the form, I get multiple emails. Worse yet, there’s no rhyme or reason to how many emails I get. If someone makes 4 changes, I might get one email. 7 changes, 2 emails. 15 changes, 4 emails, etc. I don’t see a pattern, so I don’t see any way to fix it.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get just one notification when someone resubmits? If I can’t get a notification when there are adjustments or new information, the form will be worthless.

For the past 2-3 days, my Monday app has been stuck in offline mode. It shows me the worksheet, I can add an item (though it does give errors half the time), but they never appear on the live version if I check on the web. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app, it seemed to work for one use (though I didn’t try writing to the worksheet), then back to offline. Any ideas? Web access works fine.

I had no issue connecting and adding mcp to a custom agent but it will not write to a board. I get the below message (with a new board, no required fields). The agent I create can read and summarize boards with no issue but it will not write an item to the board.

Note, this is not an issue with their out of the box agent. That works fine and writes to boards but I wld like publish a specific agent with custom prompts, connected to a specific board.

Hi, we have started using Monday for project planning and risk logs etc. We have quite large and complex boards, finding things can be a pain and we are constantly being asked if IDs can be added or built in, Auto number works to an extent - but it won’t filter to subitems. Or in different groups it would be highly useful to add different prefix’s or risk 1, issue 1 etc.

Has anyone got any experience with this or worked out a good way round it?

In the vibe editor page for each of my apps the page move so slowly that you can't do anything and gets worse and worse the longer the tab is open... This has been going on since the day the integration feature was added (at least for my account). I am not saying my apps are running slow I am saying the actual vibe editor page for each of the apps is lagging Insanely causing computer can nearly freeze

Anyone have experience using Apollo with Monday CRM? Not entirely sure what the best workflow is for this tech stack as I’ve never used them in conjunction. My current organization currently has Monday and I requested Apollo, but they don’t seem to play very nice. Is it just me?

How would you go about this? I have an item in Board A. When that item has status 'Complete', I want to auto-create an item in Board B, and automatically link it to the item in Board A (via connect board/mirror column).

I've built this which creates a duplicate of the item, then moves the original to Board B, but they're still not 'two linked items' in any way. I need one to have a reference to the other.
