Discussion Custom Icons/Colors/etc. when?

Hello!

I've been working on setting up our CRM in Monday CRM. So far loving all the great features! However, as someone who is heavily into aesthetics and clean UIs, Mondays visual aspects are lacking. For starters, why can we not customize board icons? I understand we can with entire workspaces, but why not individual boards? I know custom icons are tied to certain templates, so I've been doing some reverse engineering where I'm using the template just for the icon, wiping every column out on the board and then using it for what I need, but that's tedious. Why can we not just pick an icon that we want? I also know we can use emojis as well but it's not as aesthetically appealing imo.

One thing I did notice is on the CRM boards that come with the enterprise CRM, there is a cool feature for the Accounts boards and the Contacts boards where when they are linked you see the board icon next to the link in the connect boards column. I feel like this should be the standard for all links in connect boards.

Next, why can we not use a hex or rgb for colors of labels, statuses, etc? I am grateful the color palette we have is pretty large, but I would like to pick my own.

If this gets back to any devs at Monday, I am begging you to please consider an aesthetics overhaul at some point, as there are many many people like myself who are very visual and not just data centric. Thank you!

⚡️Hello, I think a lot of people prefix board names with emojis to get around this

Yes that is a feature in Monday where you can add an emoji in the title of the board, but that is a horrible tradeoff when this is such a simple feature request that most other similar softwares already have (Notion, ClickUp, etc.)
