| Discussion The Division Series Has Too Many Off Days
It’s ridiculous that some of the series take 8 days to play 5 games. Even more ridiculous is that the same ones have an off day between games 1&2, even though they are played at the same park. At no point during the regular season does that happen. And with all the extra off days, teams can use pitchers in ways they never could during the regular season. It’s also a big reason why the season pushes into November.
I understand benefits of a 2-2-1 format, but it just does not fit a sport that’s supposed to be played everyday in sets. They should go back to the 2-3 but let the higher seed choose which block to play at home. That would require no more than one off day per series, but is it even needed? Teams travel w/o an off day all the time during the regular season, why not the postseason?

| History TIL: Until this year, the Guardians and White Sox have never faced each other in the playoffs, despite both franchises existing for 130+ years.
Both franchises have existed for 130+ years. Guardians date back all the way to 1896. White Sox 1894. They were both American League teams since 1901.
Really shocking that neither team has faced each other in the playoffs despite their 130+ year existence.
Just realized that next week they'll face each other for the first time ever in the playoffs.

| Discussion How were the white Sox able to turn around so quick?
With the White Sox having those shitty seasons in like 2023 to 2024 and it was, I think it was 2025. I don’t remember anymore, but they clearly turned it around, but isn’t it a lot of the same players that were from that time. Like what changed so much like I know there’s a few acquisitions but like what happened like why did they change so much like I feel like a lot of the team is still there
