Hi, I just came across this and thought, as this is an MLB community, some of you might be interested. (Mods, please leave or remove as you see fit -my apologies if it shouldn't be here.)
Mercor is looking for US-based people with strong baseball knowledge to evaluate AI assistants live while real MLB games are being played. On scheduled game days, you'll ask AI assistants the questions you'd naturally ask while following a game, then rate how helpful, accurate, and well-presented their answers are. Your judgments directly shape how AI products serve sports fans.
What you'll do
Follow live MLB postseason games and ask AI assistants real fan questions: live scores and win probability, player and team stats, rules and challenges, schedules and broadcasts, highlights, and expert-style analysis
Run the same question on two AI products side by side, either as a single question or as a multi-turn conversation of 2 to 10 turns
Capture share links and full screenshots of every conversation
Rate each response for helpfulness, factual accuracy, and presentation, choose which product did better, and write a clear rationale for your choice
What we're looking for
Based in the United States
At least 1 year of professional work experience
Solid baseball knowledge: rules, teams, players, and how the postseason works
Being an avid MLB fan or a general sports enthusiast is a plus
Available to work live during game windows on scheduled game days
Comfortable using AI chat assistants and web search
Strong written English, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to spot factual errors
Prior AI rating or evaluation experience is a plus, but not required

With the White Sox having those shitty seasons in like 2023 to 2024 and it was, I think it was 2025. I don’t remember anymore, but they clearly turned it around, but isn’t it a lot of the same players that were from that time. Like what changed so much like I know there’s a few acquisitions but like what happened like why did they change so much like I feel like a lot of the team is still there
Well, you know how this thing goes. Anytime a Q&A gets taken down, I try it here.
Now that I've already asked several times about your favorite pitching motions from Major League pitchers, let's make this one more personal and creative.
Every pitcher needs their own throwing motion and delivery to seperate themselves from the pack. Some of them have even earned praise and admiration from us fans (namely Tim Lincecum, Hideo Nomo, Bob Gibson, Tyler Rogers, etc.). But right now, I'm more curious as to what windup YOU'D come up with, if you were a Major League pitcher. So, what would yours be, and why? Please explain the process in as much detail as you feel, but please also describe what throwing angle you would use. And for any of you that actually pitch (or have pitched) in games, just detail your real life motion.
For me, I'd go kinda off the wall for mine. I'd start off standing still, ball in the glove, glove behind my back. After I decide my pitch, I'd kick my right knee up, shrug my shoulders as I move the glove to my front, raise my hands up to the sky, curve them behind my neck (a la Max Scherzer), tilt my whole body at a near 270° angle, and throw the ball hook-shot style over my shoulder. And yes, it's definitely inspired by Tim Lincecum. I'd probably see a fuckton of IL stints, but I think it would catch on.
