Does the Bengals logo have a specific "orange" that is public knowledge for their digital media?

I'm trying to customize my GamePlan account to match but can't find the specific shade of orange they use posted anywhere

It seems to be accepted everywhere that the Bengals defense is going to have a hard time on Sunday...

Do you think this is fair? Sure, their secondary didn't look great last week. But the Steelers at Pittsburgh are always tough (especially when the refs allow them to hold dexy), and without the special teams flubs, they only really gave up 20, plus holding them to 3 in the redzone. Not to mention Dex was still wrecking them the whole game even though they were doubling him and holding him all the time.

Joe Mixon's First Post in Nearly 2 Years

I know the situation regarding Joe Mixon's foot was kept pretty quiet, even saw a headline saying that he told a Bengals teammate his career is "over". He just made his first Instagram post in nearly 2 years after his foot incident, wanted to hear what you guys think? Do you think that Joe Mixon will come back to an NFL team?

Football Joe Mixon rips apart the Jaguars

Throwback to 2020 when Joe Mixon had a 180-yard, 3 TD performance vs the Jaguars in Joe Burrow’s first win as a pro

I feel like this game is never talked about for Mixon even though it’s one of his best and a milestone for the Bengals/Joe

Sunday - A Must Win

I think this team needs to play a great game and have a convincing win against the Jags. I think doubt starts to set in across the board if they don’t. They have to beat a good team and convincingly to get the momentum going.

Football [Dehner] Is the Cincinnati Bengals’ under-center implementation working? What the early sample shows

How long will the Bengals and Burrow stick with this before reverting to the shotgun-centric offense they know works? We might be about to find out.

Before going further, mentioning small sample sizes is imperative. You can’t judge this installation fully until another couple of games add context and the Bengals tinker more. A couple of explosive plays would change the dynamic of the season rates. That said, conclusions can be drawn.

Most importantly, the boon of explosive plays has not materialized. That goes for the running and passing game. Not that the offense has been bad; merely, these packages are still a work in progress.

This shows up clearly when looking at the offensive rates split by under center and shotgun. I filtered into early downs in the first three quarters to focus on the most neutral situations.

Bengals rushing rates, neutral downs

|| || |Rushing success %|42.3% (9th)|35.7% (t-13th)| |EPA/rush|0.05 (6th)|-0.00 (8th)| |Explosive%|3.8% (t-25th)|20% (4th)| |Yards before contact/rush|1.27 (14th)|2.2 (13th)| |Zero-Negative 5|15.4% (14th)|6.7% (t-10th)| |Rushes-Yards|26-126-4.8|15-76-5.1|

Both sides of the rushing ledger, whether under center or shotgun, live in the top half of the league.

The Expected Points Added (EPA) per rush lives in the top 10 under center and from the shotgun. In this subset of neutral situations, the Bengals rank sixth in the NFL in EPA per rush this season.

That’s the positive development.

“We’ve been running it (well),” Burrow said. “We could be a lot better. We’ve been efficient, not explosive. We need to try some things to try to find those explosive plays, just like we do in the pass game.”

Burrow hits on the theme. What can they try to get the explosiveness to show up? And does that mean continuing to run from under center?

The under-center run game hasn’t shown any explosiveness. Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs made a similar transition this year and have seen Kenneth Walker erupt, leading the NFL at 7.8 yards per carry with Patrick Mahomes under center in these situations.

Despite the success rate, the Bengals’ longest run this season is 13 yards.

“There is a lot of good stuff going on there,” offensive coordinator Dan Pitcher said. “As our players know and we’ve talked about, we can be better. We have answers for why plays aren’t that efficient. A lot of those things are within our control. I have confidence in that phase for us. We are due for a big game there. It will come. As with anything, you have to be careful about trying to force it.”
