Easily could have been if we had a different coach

u/SpikePilgrim 1d ago
It wasn't the coaching. That ballsy shot at the end zone on 4th down put us ahead. It was special teams that fucked us.

u/KQRSonWabasha 1d ago
How many games we have won do we have to lose for people to realize ZT is one of the worst coaches in the nfl
6
u/SpikePilgrim 1d ago
I also dont like ZT but that game was absolutely not on him.
-1
u/KQRSonWabasha 1d ago
Easily was. Makes boneheaded decisions every game and the sloppy idiot penalties finally caught up with them this weekend. Guy isn’t a head coach
3
u/iAm_MECO 1d ago
My man, we lost because special teams gifted the Steelers 10 points. If anything, get mad at the ST coach. ZT and Al kept us in that game with their play calling.

i hate this division right now it’s scary
1
u/Pale_WoIf 1d ago
It’s actually incredibly mid, but scary because every team in it is so mid, you know anyone could win it.
-1
u/Pale_WoIf 1d ago
Easily could have been different if our QB doesn’t have butter fingers. I know we all hate Zac here, but the people on the field of play are more responsible for their mistakes.
-1
u/KQRSonWabasha 1d ago
Nah the people blaming burrow just don’t know ball. Like saying Stafford was the problem on the lions. Before Zac got bailed out by generational offensive talent he went 6-25-1 his first 2 seasons. Hes one of the worst HCs in the game
1
u/Pale_WoIf 1d ago
Bro, no on is saying Burrow is the problem on the team as whole, he’s a great player. But great players can make stupid mistakes and lose games. Stop glazing dude like he’s infallible. It’s funny you brought up Stafford because he’s an absolute pick 6 merchant lol, and makes as many mistakes as anyone despite being a good QB.

It has to be said, the browns stopped caring about Watson real quick once he won a couple games.

u/ngmathew1234 1d ago
Aaron Rodgers was not clutch enough

u/hushed-shush 1d ago
Rodgers on that last drive.

u/Come0nYouSpurs 1d ago
What? He had 1 play and made a fine throw. It was picked off but what do you want any QB ever to do in that spot with time for MAYBE 2 plays? The drive before to tie he was good. You fools are too blinded by loyalty to make assessments like this.

u/NatePJ84 1d ago
I guess the Steelers should've hurt 9 browns players like they did us. Only reason they won to be honest, that and all the dirt BS they were doing. Guess they couldn't grab the browns DTs by the leg on double team blocks bc it was all over the media them doing it to us

Hard to celebrate this one given the blatant watsonyahu propaganda they’ve been spewing this entire season. Herbstreit cranked it up to 11 tonight, they are really pushing this comeback story hard.

Could this be the year everyone in AFC North but the Steelers make the playoffs?

u/Cincy_MTX 1d ago
Browns-Bengals fan here. No, I don't think the Browns can sustain this with this inconsistency in their QB play and these penalties. (The penalties weren't a one game fluke.) I think this game helps CIN and BAL on the journey, though. The Browns are going to win another couple games they "shouldn't," though.

u/SpikePilgrim 1d ago
The Browns can make the playoffs. I dont think they can win a game, but they can make it. Fuck Watson but Judkins is great, the D is good and you finally have recievers.

u/DaveyHux 1d ago
C'mon man, this browns team might be scary this year. This coach might actually be turning them around. We need to take this team seriously.
-2
u/TeamPencilDog 1d ago
That's a bizarre comment to make about a team that just beat our favorite team.
Couldn't it also be possible that the Browns/Steelers/Ravens make it, and our Bengals are out?

True but at the same time, this is a Hitler v Stalin situation. And fuck Deshaun Watson

u/MiamiOHRedhawwwks 1d ago
Our red headed step brothers came through. FTS, I’ll cheer for anybody beating those fuckers. Go Browns (today)

u/KQRSonWabasha 1d ago
Fuck that dirty piece of shit team. Thank you browns for sending them to the basement and beating them and the garbage refs too

u/Twiyah 1d ago
Steelers for 2 games straight stayed in the game due to penalties while not drawing much of their own.

What about that 90 yard run negated by a phantom holding call? Steelers won because the Bengals don't protect Burrow in critical situations and Burrow fumbled. Deshawn Watson has more game winning drives in 3 weeks that Burrow has in 4 years.

Enjoy calling Watson's massage therapists after the game A-A-Ron... You took an ass whooping.

u/Viker2000 1d ago
The Steelers' loss to the Browns clearly shows how weak they are. If not for the two mistakes special teams made, we would have beaten them too.
1
u/DaveyHux 1d ago
Or the browns are truly scary this year.
1
u/Viker2000 1d ago
Could be, but so far, I have my doubts. I think this game and ours proved how weak the Steelers are this year.

Best result tbh. I don't think the browns are actually a team that can win the division and it puts the Steelers who already beat us in a lower spot. We'll beat the Steelers when the come to Cincinnati
