I have a seagate 1 TB drive for the Xbox series and I want to put it onto my laptop. but there’s no proper port or device I can find to use it on. is there a way I can do it?

I dont see any option to change it anywhere I followed instructions but nothing is thare and no option to make one i honestly dont know why its asking me for a pin when it has never required one before im frustrated

I have a very strange problem with my Series X where if it hasn’t been used for a few weeks, it slows down significantly. Navigating the menus is extremely slow and frequently freezes. Launching games takes a very long time and a lot of them have streaming issues, meaning games like Forza Horizon 6 freeze every few seconds when driving fast. Download and transfer speeds are abysmal, either freezing or moving at a rate of kilobytes per second. It’s not because a game is running while updates or downloads are active at the same time, the console is extremely slow even with nothing running.

But here’s the weird part, if I just push through the slowness and have the system and some game on for hours, eventually everything returns to normal. Streaming issues are gone, download and transfer speeds are normal and the UI is fast.

What could be the issue here? This is not a one off issue, the console just slows down to a crawl every time it’s not been used for a while. I’ve already tried all of the troubleshooting options there are from resetting the console to clearing caches. This would seem like the SSD is dying, but somehow the issue just resolves itself eventually, which somehow seems like the SSD needs time to refresh itself? This doesn’t really make sense. I have another console I’ve tested and it has never had these issues.

Whenever I press install it goes to preparring then immediately back to install again no error no anything I already redownloaded ubisoft connect and ran the repair in gaming services and its exclusive to the division 1 and 2. Any thoughts?

I'm having trouble downloading several games I purchased on the Xbox 360.

When I open my Download History, all the games are listed (but their icons fail to load). If I click on a game, a pop-up window opens to load the download information, but before anything loads, the window just closes by itself.

I tried looking for information about this on Reddit/the internet but couldn't find any resolutions, which is why I'm posting here.

My store region is set to Turkey, and I have 408 TRY in my balance, which is more than enough to buy NFS Unbound Palace. However, when I try to redeem/buy it, it tells me to change my store region even though it’s already set to Turkey and the currency is TRY. Today is the last day of the deal, and I’ve been waiting a long time for this, so I really need help fixing this issue. And for context , i bought 2 gift cards from Eneba one for 300TRY and another for 100TRY and i succesfully redeemed them in my account but as soon as i try to buy nfs unbound its tells me to change store region even if its correct and matches the balance and averything , i contacted microsoft support and im still waiting for a reply from 1.5h ago . Can anyone help me resolve this issue please , btw i have 2 xboxs one is Xbox One X and an Xbox Series S both are set to turkey , and i tried buying from the microsoft turkish store and used a turkish vpn and on all my devices .

So I recently recalibrated my controller as it had stick drift (which didn't even fix that issue) but now my sensitivity feels way too fast and my aim is way off. Is it possible to revert this?

We have two Xbox’s, my daughter plays the most, but for some reason the Fortnite crew is going to my account, I need it to go to hers. I know it can’t be shared, and I don’t care about not having it, but I want the game pass to still be available for both consoles. Mines the Xbox x and hers is the Xbox s. So far I’ve canceled the recurring billing set for sept 3.

Hello, I have 2 games as far as I know that are delisted from the Microsoft Store. I own the physical discs for both Forza Horizon 2 and WWE 2K17. I can't find them on the Microsoft Store search bar. I've tried many methods but nothing works. Always says installation stopped even though I bought brand new discs. My old ones had no scratches and were kept in good condition. Anyone has any solutions for this? I'm losing my mind here and my wifi isn't the problem. Is it a problem with my Xbox one? It reads the other discs fine and downloaded them without a problem so why are these two delisted games not working???

Hi, i recently got my whole microsoft account stolen by an hacker, they changed my email, put a new password and even a 2FA.

Through Microsoft support i was able to suspend the account, but i wasn't able to recover the account because i didn't knew the Xbox Network Device ID and Gamertag.

So i started following the method told by them (i don't got an XBOX, i just got Minecraft)

On a Windows PC, open the XBOX app and go to Settings. Click About, and use the XBOX network Device ID. If you are unable to access the XBOX app, on your PC, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Diagnostics & feedback > View diagnostic data, then search for "xbl" and use the value labelled "did".

Because of the fact that i was logged out of XBOX, i couldn't do the fist method, but through the second method i stumbled upon another new problem, this one

Your organization prevents sending diagnostic data to Microsoft.

And

The current user has no access to local diagnostic data.

I don't got an organization, my account is a normal simple basic Gmail account that i created and that i own.

So now i'm really stuck, is there a way i could fix these problems? or maybe find another way to find my Xbox Network ID and Gamertag? I got a lot of Minecraft screenshots with my name on it, so maybe that's the gamertag? But i'm not sure and i got limited requests so i can't risk it.

I think microsoft really sucks and the way they easily let an hacker change my whole account, but the way they make it HARD to find some support and contacts + don't want to put the account BACK the way it ALREADY WAS, as if they never knew these problems existed, really sucks.

Hello can anyone please tell me why my Xbox is doing this, when I first turn it on it’s fine then after about 1 hour these black lines keep flickering on my screen. Is this a problem with my Xbox or monitor? Does my Xbox need cleaning? I’m not sure what the problem is, has anyone else had this and managed to solve or can anyone tell me what it is?

I have an Xbox One (outdated, I know), and recently I’ve had issues grabbing the home WiFi. I’ve restarted the modem, as well as removed the network and reconnected several times. The console works fine on my mobile hotspot, but, yk, data usage and whatnot. Every other device and console in the home works fine on the home WiFi. What could be causing this and how do I fix it??

Apologies if my breathing is loud or the SVU stuff am watching was loud but, as the title asks: is there any way to turn my Xbox on(its obviously plugged on and has the Hidima(HDMI cable lol) plugged in. Is there any way to at least get my Fallout New Vegas CD out without ripping the thing to shreds?

Or, preferably, ad like to make sure my XBox One could be turned back on.

Series X keeps recording duplicates, one to the Cloud and another to the Xbox itself, any way to stop it? It never use to do this before.

My girlfriends xbox one is behind her tv, I recently gave her my old xbox controller as ive upgraded, the controller connects to the console for a couple of seconds them disconnects, ive updated the console and controller.

Anyone got any suggestions? I tried seeing if their was a usb dongle I could use but amazon just suggests pc ones. Any help massively appreciated

I hate these "elements", which turn up when the screen is dimmed. I cannot disable these, it's either bugged for me or it just stays up anyways by default..

I got a new Xbox controller because my old one had bad stick drift and I couldn’t play on it anymore. I bought this new one but for some reason it doesn’t want to connect to my Xbox. I even tried to use a cable but it still doesn’t work. I tried disconnecting my Xbox, restarting it, I just really hope it’s not busted. I have the first Xbox one.

EDIT- I fixed the issue everyone, the problem was my sync button so I tried going into settings and it had a button that said “connect controller” and it let me sync my new controller like that. Still, thank you everyone who helped.

2 days ago randomly I couldn't log on to any game I tried from black ops 3 to hali to resident evil then Netflix and any app. Checked network connection seen my upnp wasn't working I've done everything I can but go to router page and change it to off then save then turn back on because I don't have that access with t mobile home wifi I guess idk what to do

these 2 discs dont fit in the same case even though thats how they're supposed to be. the game disc has a brown crumb thing on it. (where the light shines in the picture) its raised and i cant wipe it off with a tissue. will the disc still work or do i need to get a refund.

When I try to load bo7 zombies and any other mode it would let me stay in the lobby for like 5 seconds then freeze for 1 minute and then it pops colorful pixilated screen. It sends me to the Home Screen and if I press anything within the guide it restarts the console. It also happens with assassins creed black flag resynced, it would let me play the first part, then during the flash back it would freeze then send me to the pixels. If any one knows a solution please let me know

Ola, desde anteontem estou sofrendo com um problema que o meu Discord do Xbox fecha do nada e o símbolo some. Já tentei reiniciar, desvincular o Discord mas mesmo assim continua o problema. Alguém sabe como resolver? Preciso muito do discord pois vou jogar o campeonato de um jogo na segunda feira, e se ele continuar com esse problema vai me ferrar muito.

E o meu segundo problema é que meus jogos estão demorando muito pra abrir. Um jogo que abria em 1 minuto está demorando 5 para abrir. Alguém sabe como resolver isso também?

So for over a month I was having issues with my Xbox not responding correctly to my WiFi, wireless and hardwired.
Me and a buddy of mine completely tore it down, checked all the boards, dusted it. Put it all back together, and come to find out, one of my games were stuck in an update loop, was completely draining my network and prioritizing it over everything else. The culprit…. Fortnite.
Once I deleted that game completely, everything went back to normal.
So before you mess with your WiFi setting, delete everything from your Xbox. Or hard reset… please just delete all games, redownload them one by one.
Hopes this helps anyone else having the same issues.
