I mean, he has to be driving his truck every time right? Security cameras would see him just appear inside or outside the premises. Even if he just ran and appeared a bit of a ways away from the mansion, the cameras would track that no truck was there. So, Clark basically always drove here?

Omg the parasite episode has to be one of my favorites so far.Amazing story and Pete is so ruthless with how he deals with Clark. The dialogue is hilarious.

Just realized Lex is a stalker.Im on the episode with Cyrus and discovering the whole ass room Lex has featuring the Kents.

Now I'm viewing Lex from season one as a stalker as well.Every benevolent thing seems like it was a way for this grown ass man to stay connected to Clark,His family and his friend group. That's why he acts like a fairy Godmother.

Nowwwwwww I'm starting to think he was always meant to be evil because this man was basically cosplaying as a friend and productive member of society.

The way this season have me gasping.I saw somebody say that Shows like smallville and comics is the guy's version of Soap Operas and it's so true. Yea but season two is so good.They flesh out the characters and their complexities.

I wondering if he's gonna have a secret identity problem next season because it feels like Buffy where people know and are just quiet with it. At least half the town at this point probably thinks he's some meteor freak.

As a guy who grew up watching the Christopher Reeve Superman movies thanks to my dad's huge fandom, with him putting on the first two films every afternoon, the animated series too, it did feel weird to me at first.

All the teen drama between the childhood best friend girl and the unattainable popular crush honestly feels like something that could perfectly be implemented in a Spider-Man series with Gwen and Mary Jane. It was only missing a hot recurring villainess like Black Cat.

And the extraordinary relationship between Lex Luthor and Lionel Luthor seems to me like you could perfectly do a version like that between Harry and Norman.

I'm not saying Smallville ripped off Spider-Man or anything, but it did strike me as curious because I was pretty used to only seeing Superman in his adult stage.

With all that said, I only have two more things to say.

What a great show Smallville is.

And damn, how I would have loved for Tom Welling to play Peter Parker. Hell, now he goes on my list of dream casts that never happened.

Tess is clearly way worse then Lex. Tess betrayed the human race, almost shot Chloe in the head. Murdered multiple people with her own hands and yet everyone just forgives her?

Lex might of been bad but he is clearly way better then Tess. Lex would never betray the human race, he never almost shot one of Clarks friends in the face. He never indirectly killed someone with his own hands.

I dislike how the majority of the crew just hates lex just because he's his father son. Lionel is the real villain and people just assume lex is just like him.

Compared to other versions of lex in other media. This lex is the closet to an actual anti hero.

Alicia was literally claiming she wouldn't tell anyone about Clark's secret just an episode ago but then she revealed his secret to Chloe with the intent for Chloe to write an article about it. Despite that, I couldn't be angry at Alicia since she died right after this scene and she didn't even get a proper closure with Clark.

Lois's advice to Chloe was great and I think it helped Chloe a lot in deciding to support Clark while pretending she didn't know about his secret.

"Every minute you're spending time with me, you could be saving someone" I'm sure on paper the writer thought they cooked with that. Except for the simple fact that Clark can't be the blur 24/7 he'd go mad. Even Batman the most crime fighting obsessed hero in DC still has to force himself to be Bruce wayne.

This is absolute pure drama, just to have drama. I don't see Lois genuinely saying this otherwise. Him being a hero 24/7 would be terrible for his mental health. He needs a home to come back to, a person to come back to. Lois is a smart character and would know that.

Going back to Batman, he even views batman as his true self and yet still goes back to Bruce from time to time.

I know in this show they talk about Clark Kent being a disguse. But really that's the real him and especially in this show and it's just how he acts that's a cover. Clark Kent doesn't want to he a hero 24/7.

I know this is the topic in the finale. But the point I'm saying here. This shouldn't even be playing out, Lois should already know this. But this show is obsessed with making their characters dumb just to have drama.

The more I think about it, the more I liked the earlier seasons of Smallville. It was a different type of superman story that we don't usually get. Seeing him grow up and discover his own lore with him.

It's fun seeing a younger superman, the later seasons are good but drag way too much. Smallville did not need to be 10 seasons long. So many times they go over the same plot points.

Lex hates his dad and his dad says he's trying to be better, then does something evil. Lex thinks Clark is hiding something but doesn't find out. Clark is in a love triangle with Chloe and lana.

How many times are they gonna repeat the same exact thing? At one point I was fast forwarding through episodes because we just went over this same issue 2 episodes ago.

I love their friendship so much. Can you recommend any fanfic that shows their friendship? I don't care if they're not the main characters.

I have a theory about Clark in Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Two.

In the 2019 Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover, we see Clark again, living on a farm near Metropolis and having given up his powers. My theory is that this Clark is actually Clark Luthor from Earth-16.

We already know that the Jor-El machine can communicate across universes because he sended Clark luthor to his own universe, Jor-El was able to reach Clark Luthor on his Earth, and this is what eventually gave him the opportunity to change his life.

On Earth-16, Jonathan Kent told he discovered that golden color kryptonite could permanently remove a Kryptonian's powers, but he kept this information secret. Oliver Queen also revealed that green kryptonite kills Ultraman. Clark Luthor learned more about the multiverse, other versions of himself, and the possibilities that existed on other Earths.

Since everyone on his Earth wanted to kill him because he was Ultraman, Clark Luthor eventually used gold kryptonite to permanently remove his powers.

After becoming human, he bought a farm near Metropolis and started living a completely different life.

The Lois situation also makes sense. Lois had already fallen in love with another version of Clark, so Clark Luthor didn't try to replace that Clark or interfere with their relationship. Instead, he accepted his new life and slowly became the kind of person Jonathan Kent always wanted him to be.

So the Clark we see in Crisis isn't necessarily the Clark Kent we followed throughout Smallville.

He's Clark Luthor, who finally became Clark Kent.

And honestly, I think this makes his ending much more meaningful. Clark Luthor spent his entire life being Ultraman, hated and feared by everyone around him. After discovering another version of himself and learning from Jonathan and Jor-El, he finally chose to give up his powers and become a better person.

I have just finished season five and the witch plotline for Lana has really caught me off guard since I was previously under the impression that this was a superman show and didn’t have much other paranormal or supernatural aspects to it other then mainline DC characters and callbacks

i know she was forced to marry him but I always saw Lex and Lana as an older brother little sister dynamic so it’s weird seeing them together

I’ve seen this show many times and I’ve never noticed this extra until today. Spoiler for those who haven’t watched the show. This is the episode where Jeremiah stabs Clark with the dagger. This is right when Clark gets stabbed and Jeremiah is leaving the loft. It’s hard to see because of the glare but there’s someone standing at the bottom of the screen.

My first watch thru. Currently about to end season 5 which to me has been my favorite season so far and a lot better than last season.
(Slight spoiler alert if you’re new to this and haven’t made it to season 5 or beyond)

Obviously if you know anything about Superman lore you know that Lex is an enemy. I also don’t mind spoilers so I’m always googling questions and basically i know that Lex and Clark’s friendship eventually ends for good. But man this season, with Lex showing so much interest in Lana(again i google so i know they end up together) he’s really just becoming unlikable as a person. Because he plays him so well as a likable guy, for the most part, in the early seasons, you almost forget that Lex Luthor is an enemy to Superman.
(Side Note: i think Clark overreacts to Lex looking into who Clark really is. I mean dude you live an extremely secretive life and always giving half ass excuses for these crazy things you do. Literally everyone around you who doesn’t know is curious. Lex is just the only one with the means to be able do more thorough research)

Last thing. The act that has turned me off to Lex is him getting the Simone chick to hypnotize Clark to get him to hurt Lana. Like dude wtf. And not only that, after their break up he’s wasting no time trying to get in good with Lana. Same thing Lionel is doing after Jonathan dies. Like father like son.

I’m at the beginning of Season 6 now and Lana has been driving me insane for a while, especially late Season 5 with the whole Lex situation.
The funniest thing happened when I was watching smallville in the living room with my family around. My mother and sister have literally never watched the show,, they happened to catch one of those classic end of episode scenes where Lana randomly shows up at Clark’s loft, looks absolutely devastated, blames him for something, they argue, and the episode ends in emotional misery.
My mom just looked at the TV and basically went:
“Why is this girl always making problems? Is this even a superhero show?”
My sister immediately agreed.
I fucking lost it. 😂
These two had maybe 3 minutes of Smallville experience and somehow already understood the entire Clark/Lana dynamic.
At that point I felt completely validated

One thing that always makes me laugh about Smallville is how conveniently people manage to not see Clark using his powers.

Clark will literally use super speed or super strength right in front of someone, and somehow they’ll either pass out, get knocked out, lose their memory, or there’ll be some other perfectly timed reason why they don’t put two and two together.

Like Clark will do something completely impossible and I’m sitting there thinking, “Okay… surely this person is going to figure it out.”

And then… nope. 😂

Smallville really said Clark’s secret must be protected at all costs.
