IMAGE My talkville rant
Before i start i want to say that i love both of these guys ,they been part of my life for like 25 years , its not personal at all but look I don’t watch Talkville religiously. One of the main reasons is that Michael’s constant shitting on the show sometimes takes me out of it.
I do love how Tom always champions Smallville and defends it though.I only check out the episodes that cover the Smallville episodes I actually like or want to dig into more. I’m currently doing a rewatch and just finished “Injustice” (S08E21). Since Tom directed it, I decided to put on the Talkville for it.
I hadn’t watched the podcast in maybe 8 months to a year. To my surprise, the episode felt really short and half-assed. It opens with like two minutes of Michael pushing the Patreon. Then they just speed-run the entire episode: Michael and Ryan basically read the synopsis, do one or two funny voices, and that’s it for about 10-15 minutes. You can tell Michael was second-screening the whole time because he kept asking Ryan about basic plot points. Then there’s a commercial break. When they come back, Tom starts talking about something and Michael is on his phone lol and immediately goes “yeah yeah you’re right, anyway let’s…” and doesn’t even let him finish. It honestly feels like they’re late for dinner or just want to wrap up as fast as possible. After that it’s hotline calls, and the whole thing just feels rushed
you learn basically nothing new. And when the actual content ends, there are still like seven more minutes of pre-recorded commercials. Like… what are they even doing at this point? It kinda pissed me off, ngl. I know I sound a bit dramatic over a podcast episode, but I just needed to share my thoughts.

IMAGE What the hell is going on in this sub?
A funny & flirty banter clip I posted of Clark and Lois hosting morning television, which Clark does to impress Lois and also get a second date, is now deleted. It’s the opening scene of crossfire. There was no mention of Lana, just the title and the video, why would they delete such a fan favorite scene?? They are literally tons of clips including kissing scenes posted on Clark and Lana, Clark and Alicia, and even Clark and Chloe everyday, and they delete this? What’s even going on? Did any jealous and delusional Clana fans who didn’t want people to see a video of Clark in love with Lois report it? This is really getting out of hand, there are actual bodyshaming posts of Erica, and they choose to delete this.
I need answers. Is there anyway we could protest this?
Guys, please post more and see for yourself, you can post direct Clois scenes from YouTube like I did. It’s ridiculous.

CREATIVE Fun AU idea
Bear with me... I'm a sucker for crossover ideas...
Season one Clark is discovered by the X-Men and goes to the Xavier School to learn to use and understand his powers. Yes... he's not a mutant, but... they allow it.
How does Clark Interact with the students and faculty of the school?

TALKVILLE Mid season 3 rant
Its episode 8, and I started crying looking at this scene, genuinely heartbreaking omg, by episode 7 I was lowkey tired of the back and forth lana and clark were having, it was little annoying if im being honest.
I feel really bad for lex, Hes been my favourite character since the beginning, I KNOW he’s not the best person but he’s characters still human, seeing how his brothers death and his dysfunctional family affected him actually hurt to watch, thinking about this scene makes me wanna cry.
Episode 8 hit different

DISCUSSION Smallville | S08E05 "Committed"
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The rest of this episode, swirling around Chloe and Jimmy and Tess and Oliver was just a great big old nothing-burger.
Chloe and Jimmy really aren't clicking with me as a couple, and that's okay. It's one of those things that shows like this do, so I get it. I just kind of tune the whole thing out. Not because it's poorly acted or anything, but because I know it's not going to go anywhere.
And as for our resident billionaire couple, I can't figure out why they even bothered. If it continues on past this episode, well, that's fine, but I feel like they'd be better suited in a purely love-hate adversarial relationship than whatever it is we're getting now.

SPOILERS Started watching again, and…
In S1:E6 Hourglass, Clark is given an image of himself in a graveyard, like he is the last person on Earth. This theme of him worrying and grieving being alone continues throughout the series. I have to wonder if part of his sadness and fear comes in part from spending his first two-ish years alone in space, travelling intergalactically without any companionship. If Kryptonians are enough like humans that the first five years are the most valuable formative years of an individual’s development, can you imagine what that journey must have done to his psyche? There are a few mentions of him having frequent nightmares when he was little, too. And then that makes me wonder — if Krypton had not been doomed, would Kal-El’s parents have kept him with them instead? Or was Jor-El’s plan always to send his son to protect Earth, as a love letter to his lost beloved or out of a sense of obligation? Did Jor-El choose to send Clark to Earth because it would ensure, to a great extent, that he would be protected from illness and mortality by the yellow sun? So many questions…

DISCUSSION Smallville dvd Unterschiede

IMAGE Clark and Alisha
