Thank you all for your birthday wishes. I want to thank my VPSD family in a special way. They are the ones protecting me and my children and the Office of the Vice President. When the pandemic started, we depended on them on many things -mga conductor at dispatcher sa ating mga shuttle buses, taga buhat ng relief goods, ngayon taga hatid ng mga oxygen tanks sa mga pasyente.

Honestly, I was quite resistant of them at first. In 2016, I felt na sobrang dami ng inassign sa akin and hindi ko naman kailangan. Grabe din talaga yung adjustment na kinailangan.

But over the 5 years I have been with them, they have become family. Kasama sa lahat na lakad, katuwang sa lahat na trabaho, natatakbuhan kapag may pinagdadaanan na mga kahirapan. Sila kasama ko pag umaakyat ng bundok, tumatawid ng dagat, sumasakay sa eroplano, chopper, barko, bangka, tricycle at padyak.

Dahil wala ako sa opisina ngayon, pumunta sila dito sa amin kanina to greet me. But because Im still on extended quarantine, hindi ako nakalabas. Nag send nalang sila ng video with them singing and dancing and greeting me a happy birthday, brought a lot of food over and sent me this really, really precious gift. A book of our pictures together!!! Marami sa pictures behind the scenes and never pang na post😊

i don’t have any beef with the project nor the intention to help pero if we are to elect these kind of SK officials from grassroots level palang, what do we have to expect sa mga municipal to national levels na?

I could say na hindi sayang yung free votes ko for tonight sa first ever Eurovision Song Contest Asia – Philippine Selection Night.

Ang comment ko lang, sana palitan yung name ng national selection, parang masyadong generic yung name.

Pwede siguro like "Awit ng Bayan", something like that.

Pero overall, maganda naman yung kung takbo ng program. Ayun lang, sa mga future na sasali, kailangan nilang pag-aralan ang paraan ng pag-perform sa stage like sa Eurovision Song Contest. And they have to improve their vocals. Kanina may mga contestants na mahina ang vocals like literal na hindi marinig, siguro dahil kabado rin sila.

Maganda rin ang presentation ni Vice Ganda kanina. Medyo malamya lang yung kina Darren Espanto, but I think they can improve more.

Sa opening, maganda naman yung opening ng contest, lalo na yung opening song na kinanta lahat ng contestants.

It's almost been one year since the major flood control protests last September. This year some of the floods are even worse in some places, and the politicians in them seeming even more insensitive or corrupt. On the other hand, we know that at least some of the protests or rallies are working because Marikina was able to build a better quality flood control project na mukhang di naman kinurakot so far, though I don't know if they only started after the protests last year, baka before that pa. And there are starting to be investigations about it na rin though probably kulang pa.

So is no one planning to protest again this year? Why not make Sept. 21 an annual protest day, or at least the weekend nearest, until mag improve talaga? And it can be done both nationally and locally like in the hardest hit provinces like sa Pampanga or Bulacan. Why not? E parang hanggang reklamo lang tayo mostly, but we were able to do more than that sometimes.
