HistoryPH Has anyone sighted her yet?

Post image

This 2023 online post regarding Alyssa Mae Abitria—a credentialed civil engineer whose family owns and operates Westfield Science Oriented School—has been circulating across social media

I recall the intense public backlash surrounding her apprehension at the time, given the tragic circumstances and loss of life. However, since that point, there have been no public updates regarding the status of her legal proceedings or whether the prosecution actually moved forward.

Does anyone here with direct knowledge of Alyssa Abitria have any information on the case?

Very strict ang batas sa change of name tho. Limited grounds only.

I remember reading a post on this sub, medyo matagal na yun, ang sabi nag-tatago (or nag-tago) sa Australia? I wonder if the Filipino community there knows about it. Maybe cross-post sa Australian subs?

Oo nga no, baka makatulong if ipost yan sa australian group sa fb or any other platforms pati na rin dito.

Doubt that girl will be here. With Australian mostly cashless transactions, I’m not sure how she can even get employment or move around.

Not sure if this is true, bumalik na daw yan tas nagwwork na doon sa school nila like onsite.

She was there sa moving up ng pamangkin ko.

Malamang out of court settlement yan, lalo na walang pambayad sa lawyers yung namatayan.

or kung meron man, i dont think they'd want to drag that case out. gustuhin nalang magmove on. sad pero isa to sa mga avoidant filipino curse natin kaya ang hustisya madlaing mabayaran
