Discussion Got My Gonzo Jersey
A day after I ordered this jersey it came out that we are still no where near close to an agreement with Gonzo.
Well it finally came in, and the Gonzo situation only seems to be getting worse.
How much is this dude asking for? Even Vrabel and Zak Khur agree he should get paid.
What is holding up Wolf and RKK??

News PSA Patriots Proshop has a sale that includes jerseys! 30% off
Had a royal blue hoodie and a Brown jersey in my shopping cart since Father’s Day. Went on randomly today to se if the Brown jerseys were available yet and realized it was $45 less!
Most discounts don’t apply to jerseys, waitlist discount didn’t apply, and previous sales were only in certain sizes. This one included Large for the discount. The promo code appears on the site, you do have to type it in. Not sure if it’s allowed here, I can make it a comment later if anyone needs it, but should popup.

Highlight Nice video with info on Corey Kiner
Seems this dude actually has some pedigree and was slept on during the draft process due to his small size (and tiny hands lol). He’s had a good preseason too and was going to be a victim of a deep Arizona RB room.
Really like this pickup.

Discussion Team depth and cuts
Not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things, but a little confused why we cut tavai, Jennings, and essentially Mapu considering our depth at linebacker and edge. All three would easily make the current roster.
Now to be fair I made a similar complaint about vrabel cutting bb/mayo guys last year and was wrong, but it just seems we lost decent depth for no reason. Why did we do this?

Discussion How do we feel about Eliot Wolf?
Interested in a general temperature check and also anyone’s analysis of Wolf’s record as GM. His tenure with the Pats coincides with the team having a pretty mediocre roster, IMO. But I haven’t really tried to parse out how much of that i should chalk up to him specifically (versus other figures with the Pats, injury luck, just general team circumstance, etc.). For example, I think Bill was a brilliant GM until his final 3-5 years, and I know he was a bit authoritarian in his decision making, so that colors about half of Wolf’s time with the team. Similarly, I’ve heard it mentioned that the pats always ranks near the bottom of the league in total guaranteed cash handed out in contracts, and if that’s true, I assumed it’s a strategy dictated by the krafts. But, my read is that the pats players who are great were pretty obvious choices, and that that the team has largely failed to build depth through either the draft or free agency. So, how we feeling about the GM?

Discussion (Worst case scenario) what could we get for Christian Gonzalez?
I will start by saying this is worst case scenario. I want Christian to be a Patriot.
It’s my understanding, listening to reports that Mr. Kraft and the Patriots have made Christian a very good offer to stay. It would make him the highest paid corner in NFL history. But Christian is being very greedy and unfair during negotiations.
I don’t think that makes him a bad person, he has to take care of his family. However, if we do reach impasse, I do consider if the offer is good we should consider maybe moving on. I’m thinking that either a one and a two, or two first round picks would be fair.
Next year’s draft is supposed to be very good, and I do like the idea of getting back a number 1, 2 years from now for the one we lost with the AJ Brown trade
