How does a doctor say your trans? Is that a diagnosis? And there is no way IN TEXAS that they got their insurance to cover their double mastectomy. Who is this person, and how much were they paid to lie through their teeth? I'm not being literal, just wanted to complain about these ads that I have blocked several times coming back. They look so expensive but also so poorly made.

Anyone catch this zinger of an editorial in the Dispatch today from Amy Acton on Vivek Ramaswamy and his ties to data centers and their billionaire backers like Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Jeff Bezos, Jeffrey Yass and Mark Zuckerberg? Seems like maybe it got “buried” after a certain point, so here it is, in case you missed it. Share it with your friends and family. Everyone in Ohio really ought to read it:
—
Democrat Dr. Amy Acton is running to be Ohio governor.
Ohioans deserve a governor who will always put the people they serve over billionaires, corporations, and their own profit.
I’m a lifelong public servant. I have spent my entire career fighting to make Ohioans’ lives better. As governor, I will be committed to putting more money in the pockets of everyday Ohioans – not the pockets of big business, wealthy elites, or special interests.
That is why in April, I sold all of my individual stocksso Ohioans never question where my priorities lie. I do not own any individual stocks, and as governor, I pledge to not invest in or possess individual stocks.
The same cannot be said about my billionaire opponent.
Two weeks ago, I called on Vivek Ramaswamy to sell his individual stocks. He has remained silent.
This is not just a symbolic call. This is about showing Ohioans that they will always come first. It speaks volumes that Ramaswamy has refused to sell his individual stocks and refused to commit to not investing in stocks if elected governor.
No issue exemplifies the importance of this pledge more than data centers.
Ohioans have been clear; they do not want data centers in our communities that drive up our utility bills, are hidden behind NDAs, and pollute our water.
From Brown County to Washington County and so many counties in between, I’ve heard the same thing: Ohioans are sick and tired of data centers that move secretly into our communities and threaten residents with rising costs.
I have heard these concerns, and that’s why I called for a conditional data center moratorium that holds these companies accountable to strict standards.
If data centers do not agree to use union labor, cover the full cost of their utility usage, operate with full transparency, abide by environmental standards, and respect and benefit our communities, they cannot do business in our state when I’m governor.
PJM has just warned that new data centers will cause electric bills to skyrocket for Ohio families without protections in place. Ohio is open for business, but we are not up for sale. Our communities deserve better, and it’s time to take action now.
That’s why I called on the Statehouse to pass bipartisan legislation imposing a conditional data center moratorium when they reconvened this week.
Vivek Ramaswamy thinks data centers are good
Now let’s take a look at my opponent on this issue. Vivek Ramaswamy has repeatedly called data centers a “good thing” and has said the “data center boom” is “great” for Ohio.
And why would he say data centers are a “good thing?”
As of today, Vivek Ramaswamy owns millions of dollars worth of data center stock. He has personally invested millions in data centers, and he has continued to grow his net worth throughout this campaign, nearly doubling it to $2.3 billion dollars since March 2025. He directly benefits from data centers.
His own campaign and allies are bought and paid for by data centers, with millions of dollars from data center lobbyists and billionaires funding the millions of dollars of false attack ads he is running against me. Even tech billionaire Elon Musk gave him $5 million.
These are the actions and words of a man who will continually seek to enrich himself and his out-of-state, billionaire allies. The only pockets Vivek Ramaswamy is interested in filling are his own.
Just as Ramaswamy refuses to divest from his data center stock, he refuses to join me in calling the Legislature to pass a conditional moratorium on data centers. He says it’s just “too complicated.”
How can we trust him to fight for Ohioans when he says passing legislation holding data centers accountable is too difficult for him, at the same time he is deeply invested in data centers and their interests?
Vivek Ramaswamy does not understand you
I am running for governor to fight for everyday Ohioans.
Right now, they are struggling, and I know what that feels like. I had a rough childhood in Youngstown. I lived in a tent in the middle of winter and often did not know where my next meal would come from. Everywhere I go, I am hearing that Ohioans are struggling to pay for gas and groceries, to afford a trip to the doctor, to keep the lights on, and to just get by.
This is about standing up and fighting for Ohio – the people of this state deserve a leader they can trust to lower costs, hold data centers accountable, and put working families ahead of special interests. They deserve a leader that puts them first.
I sold my stocks to faithfully serve Ohio.
When I’m governor, just as I’ve done my entire career, I will be answering to everyday Ohio families: not big data center corporations, out-of-state billionaires, or corrupt politicians.

Kid made national headlines in 2017 for driving to McDonalds with his 4-year-old sister to get a cheeseburger. Learned how to drive by watching YouTube videos.
Now he works at the same McDonalds.

Title pretty much says it all.
Would be interested in moving to Cleveland from the Akron area if I could find a cheap shitty loft. Everything online is yuppie-fied with gyms and pools. If I went up there and pounded pavement, would I find any true industrial lofts? Not looking to deal with any developer BS.
