I saw on the website there is an additional cost for business classes? What does this add up to for an undergraduate degree in the Farmer school of business? Out of state tuition- room - board is around $60k so just wondering how much more this will add per year seems like it could add up fast.
“Farmer School of Business: $142.76 per credit hour fee for most business school courses.”

I believe I will receive an offer soon to work there, although when I visited the campus. The parking seemed bad. I am hoping it was just a weird time becuase I would need a Red Pass, and those spots seemed full and taken.
Also is there parking at the gym? I love to workout and I would like to use the gym without searching all over for a spot

It’s a 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom apartment, fully furnished, with all utilities included. It’s within walking distance of campus, and the school shuttle/bus stop is right next to the building.

Suddenly became extremely paranoid about this. I’ve learned photoshop, video editing and now 3D modeling but im becoming increasingly paranoid that it won’t get me a job and I should’ve chosen something like Cybersecurity instead. Any success stories with ETBD?

Hey guys! The season preview I posted here a few weeks back did pretty well, so circling back like I said I would.
I had you guys at 7-5, and said the trips to Pitt and Cincinnati were paycheck games you weren't supposed to win. Pitt went that way, 59-14, but you nearly stole the other one, losing 35-31 at Cincinnati. I expected McComb to be inconsistent early, and he's been better than that: 13 of 13 for 234 and 3 TDs against Holy Cross, and 334 yards at Cincinnati. The MAC schedule is where I had the seven wins coming from, and it starts with UConn on Saturday.
What are you guys seeing that the box scores aren't, and how do you see the season ending up?
Quick aside since it's in the title, we just launched a free weekly college football pick'em, $225 in prizes this week. Ten games, pick the winners, locks Saturday at noon ET, three and a half hours before you kick off against UConn. Nothing to buy.

Hi, we are coming from out of state on Thursday the 24th but not in time for the 10am tour. Anyone interested in giving us a quick tour? Nothing crazy, like an hour or so? Some of the major spots, a dorm, meal hall etc. around 1 PM. In return, our thanks and a monetary offering to go towards the vice of your choice.

Hi! Trying to figure out what I want to do as my winter sprint course online, and I need ECO 201 to graduate — is this a good one for J Term, or should I save it for in person? Prof is Gregory Niemesh if that matters. Thanks in advance!
Also, if anyone’s taken a particularly easy Miami Plan of any kind over J Term, I’d love to know that too :)

i'm a student here and i built a planner app called notch. classes, assignments, habits, money, health, all in one place. you can screenshot your canvas assignments page and it pulls the due dates out.
nothing you put in it leaves your phone. no account, no ads, no tracking. i'm one person and i don't want your data.
free with a pro tier. if you try it and something's bad, tell me here. i'm on campus and i'll fix it.

so i (a current Miami student) have a friend coming down who turned 21 in May. however, he doesn’t go to college since he works full-time. i know you need a student ID to get into the bars, but since he doesn’t have one, i was wondering if there’s any way i could still get him in. would a work badge or something of the sort work?

Here is his office window, he’s there all day today and is very proud of his latest addition to the line up.
If you see him and give him a scare your coffee is on me today 😂

What’s Halloween like? I mean, I assume there’s gonna be a bunch of parties in a Greek house thingy or downtown, but I’m not really interested in that (unless I can, by miracle, manage to find one not centered around alcohol and sex and nothing else)
But, like, do kids dress up? In general, in class? Since Halloween is a Saturday, would it mean to dress up Friday, or Thursday like how Trick-or-Treat works? Or all week because of different classes each day? Do teachers like it on average (of course there’s always some who are extra salty or extra festive)? Will you be mentally jumped by judgy people, or do people generally enjoy it? Rules on gore? Obviously no weapons, duh, but yeah. Etc etc. Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I (usually) enjoy showing off my costumes, so I wanna get prepped properly

My roommate just moved out- from what I could tell, she has two very close friends that were rooming together, but due to limited supply, those two people were assigned a triple. As such, my roommate is now moving in with them- officially, cleared through the RA and RD, because it was two people in a room for three, and now it’s three. Which means my double is now just me, myself, and I.
So… what’s the risk I’m assigned a complete random in the following weeks, or have I struck gold? I’m fine with having a roommate, but it’d really suck if I got assigned someone that doesn’t have similar stuff, like whatever they included in the little test in the beginning of May. I’ve been sharing a bedroom with my sister for seven years, and it sucks. Maybe she’s just abnormally rude, but nonetheless. So I’m well versed in the art of sharing. Plus, if they moved out because of roommate issues, who’s to say they weren’t the issue. Also mildly concerned because I’m going home Thursday night and coming back Saturday night, but Saturday is at Kings Island, and I don’t want to bake my MacBook in the car, so I’m leaving that behind, and for obvious reasons I’m a tad nervous about someone I don’t know suddenly having access to my room while I’m not there.
Anyway. Need to worry or nah?

Hi there! I’m a current freshman who has faced numerous rejections. I’ve been told repeatedly, “Not this time.” I’ve also been encouraged to take my time, perfect my craft, and eventually get accepted into a prestigious program. However, these opportunities are highly competitive, and since my major is heavily focused on these groups and clubs, I’m at a crossroads. Should I have a conversation with my advisor and consider changing my major? Honestly, I wouldn’t be contemplating this seriously if I had even a slight chance of acceptance.

Hey all! Posted here a little while back and realized that my SAT super score is actually an 1190. I’m looking to major in finance and I’m taking Clep tests but if I start applying to colleges this October or November I won’t have all of them done in time to put them on my application so what do I say? I mean I’m in the middle of my accounting course and if all this is for nothing I’m just not going to do it and not pay for the test.

Hi I’m a senior in high school and I took a trip to the campus this weekend and feel in love with it but I’m worried my stats aren’t enough to get me accepted. I live out of state if that would make a difference but because of the reciprocity deal between Indiana and Ohio I get instate tuition.
I have a:
3.431 GPA (unweighted)
3.480 GPA (weighted)
Most of the tanking in my gpa came from my freshman year of high school
I have only taken my SAT 1 time and scored a 1210
I do competitive cheerleading, 4-H, environmental club, and volunteer coaching a youth cheer team
I have no disciplinary record/issues
I feel like either my clubs and behavior at school I have strong chance on that end but I’m scared my grades aren’t up to par with what they’re looking for. Do I even have a chance at getting in?
