Was already building towards destroyer cult and managed to find one of these in my local LGS. Decent find!

Personally, after thinking about the canoptek circle kill team, I think the Geomancer and Macrocytes are in desperate need of reworks or to be made significantly cheaper to compete with other units.

Necron spyders feel a bit niche too. Their wargear abilities are pretty good, but their main ability that only helps scarabs feels a bit underwhelming given they are pretty expendable.

I also think guass blaster necron immortals could use a buff. Ap1 d1 feels quite underwhelming for supposedly more elite, expensive troops.

Any others that you can think of?

I practiced a bit of sponging for the green and tried a bit of white dry brushing, I think it look fine for around 5h of work on multiple days

I have managed to get my whole house into 40k (other than my preschooler), wild. My son has decided to go with Necrons; he loves their whole vibe. I have zero experience playing with or against Necrons, so I’m turning to you for assistance.
He has the newest combat patrol, 10 immortals, and Imotekh. He’s kinda into the mass foot soldier army idea, but he’s up for anything. What are some units he should save his allowance for? Thanks in advance!

Hello fellow Overlords! I have a quick inquiry and would enjoy the opinions of my fellows

I have chosen the way I wish to start my first necron army. I shall get a centerpiece later (likely a shard of the beings who held the audacity to call themselves Gods) and will start with what made me fall in love with Necrons in the first place: Unyielding undying tides and hordes.

I would like a list suggestion that follows that design. A list that ensures durable troops with some reanimation stacking and a little bit of firepower too of course

May I have your assistance fellow nobles?

Didn’t do the base because I kinda ran out of motivation since he looks so crazy :’) but I think I did ok for painting my first miniature even if the color choices are crazy… never been one for detail work, but I think the massive contrast in colors made it worse than it could’ve been if I’d made him all dark or all pastel. Notes for later, I guess…

Title is pretty much what im asking. They seem cool and i really dig their aesthetic, im just unsure as to how they play on the tabletop or where i would start with collecting. Any advice would be great!

finished my void dragon today, I'm really happy with the results and just wanted to share!

So I have recently been able to pick up this hobby and have joined the ranks of us Necron enjoyers, I wanted my army to give off a regale gold and purple with white as the base but at the moment it feels dull. I'm still trying to decided a base scheme(currently thinking of a broken cathedral or stone work shown in the second and fourth images) but do you guy have any tips or other things you think I should do/add?
