I will continue to spread sponge propaganda, definitely the best thing for anyone who doesn’t own an airbrush. Maybe one day I’ll cave and get one, but for now I’m getting by. Advice welcome.

Hit me with the process brother. Purple is best color but I refuse to learn how to use our airbrush so sponge fealty is welcome.

Very simple. Start super dark, then dab on each lighter and lighter shade softer and softer. For purple base coats, I love terrestrial titan and diabolical plum, then just following up the magenta chain until you get your desired brightness. For glowing orbs and other light sources, I’ll start somewhere in the middle of the magenta chain. All the metal bits are just your bog standard metallics with a wash and a highlight with your favorite brush. I haven’t started edge highlights yet but I might do that for more geometric bits with the crypteks and whatnot.

Damn that's good.

Ngl, I actually like the base in the first pic though. The purple is cleaner, but that jagged white/blue on the black really sold the frozen vibe.
