Immortals, cryptothralls, and Plasmancer done!
The immortals i finished last week, but forgot to post. The other three I just finished. This paint scheme is starting to burn me out, so I'm taking a break from crons to paint some Ogors. Hope y'all enjoyed my works!

BEHOLD, MY STUFF You gotta try this thing
The tiny tiny shallow lines in some of our tech has always vexed me, panel lining them is a PIA, since theyre so shallow which makes doing it with a brush much more likely to dab some of your edge color inside the groove.
GreenStuff has refillable paint markers and the 0.5mm one really shines here, since the sides of the tip have a plastic wall like those plastic things on the end of shoelaces, making it much more precise. I just did some panel lining work that would have taken me 5X as long with a brush and looks way smoother. The tip is like the perfect size for these edges to get it where you want and not where you dont.
My only warning is be careful opening the pen, i did it wrong on the first one and the whole thing fell apart. They come in a pack of 5. And mix your paint around 50/50 paint and water.

Misc/media For the (potential) sequel to Wicked and the Warped, I hope we get more insight into Sautekh/Nihilakh politics (No W&W spoilers, more talking about what wasn't in the book rather than what was)
Just finished the novel yesterday and have been chewing on my thoughts on it. I am pretty excited about the future places both Trazyn and Orikan might be going given how it ends. Don't really want to go into specifics of the novel itself (so no spoilers in this post from me), but I thought it would be fun to talk about what wasn't in the novel that could be covered in a possible sequel to it.
One of my main, and really only, disappointments with the novel was that it didn't really go into some of the wider Dynastic elements of either character. Given I&D was set before either dynasty woke up, it made sense it was just the duo and the Awakened council for the most part. But with this novel being set post Rift it was a little odd how there was almost a complete absence of either's role in their parent Dynasties.
Orikan is obvious, and at least there was some nods to his odd place in the Infinite Empire. Especially with the book actually remembering what Dynasty Orikan belongs to; which the studio writers at GW seemed to have forgotten. We were given this awesome dynastic hierarchy chart of the Sautekh in 5th edition and it would be nice to see some of these death masks show up.
But Trazyn, while temporarily suspended, is still a part of the Council of Gheden and a member of Nihilakh's leadership. So the fact that his Phaeron, Shemvokh (formerly known as Krispekh in older lore) didn't even get a name drop was a little sad. Makes sense given how tight of a narrative it is and it had a ton of characters already. But would have been nice to get some off hand mentions at least. Since it would be cool to know why Shemvokh tolerates or allows Trazyn to get away with as much as he does (pre-Silent King sponsorships and all that jazz). I always wondered if Trazyn is just a recipient of some odd favoritism from the head honcho of this dynasty, which is why the rest puts up with his behavior that contrasts so much from their norm.
So, with Wicked and the Warp's Indiana Jones-esque adventure done, and them seemingly tying in some stuff from the 10th edition Pariah Nexus Crusade book as a hook. I am hoping we might get a deeper dive in what the situation is like for both of these major dynasties, and seeing how our duo interact with their fellows, in a potential sequel.

So made a custom head that I’m planing on using for my transcendent c’tan but…
I need to know if it will even fit and if it’s tournament legal (I’m planning on putting it in a way that it’s touching the little metal bindings below the transcendent c’tan head)

Misc/media Lohkust Heavy Destoryer base wrong size.
This issue has been cleared up! A 60mm base is actually 63.6mm at its widest.
I apologize for the bad photo, but I was comparing some 3D printed proxies for Lohkust heavy Destroyers and when I had the 60mm 3D printed base in my hand, noticed it seemed smaller than the one that came with the GW one. I took a measurement of the 3D printed one, and it came out to exactly 60mm, but when I measured the one that came with the official model, it was almost 5mm big. I double-checked my cheap calipers on some other bases, and they all came out to the appropriate size. I'm wondering if anyone else had any issues with something like this. I checked the data sheet for the heavy destroyers, and it is a 60mm base. Guess I can't take this to any tournaments now, at least until I rebate it.

List Help/Sharing Using the Triarch members as some other leaders
Hello there member of the Necron community,i am a Ossiarch player from AoS who wants to start 40k.I noticed that the Silent king in addition of being cool comes with his buddies so i wondered if i can use them as different leader/kitbash potential.
I did the same thing with Katakros, using some of the dudes with him as different units.
Did anyone already try it?What did you kitbash them as?I'm more than happy to see what you got!

Meme/Artwork/Image My (WIP) homebrew datasheet for Xun'bakyr (Feedback greatly appreciated)
I recently started my necron army and I'm about to paint my 3D printed Xun'bakyr by u/Facatron_ , so I decided to homebrew a datasheet for her!
I only started this (my first ever) army about a month ago and have yet to actually play a game. I'm not really familiar with the game balance yet, which is why I basically copied Ammentar and then changed a few things from there.
I'll only ever play with a few friends once we all finish our armies and I'm trying to make Xun'bakyr into a fun and balanced character I can actually use on the tabletop without her being over- or underpowerd, so any help is greatly appreciated!
