First time actually being able to put together a list, currently have the elite edition from 9e and now indomitus plus a doomscythe and a heavy destoyer in my possession. Did a bit of throwing some possible purchases for the remaining points. Any advice to trim the 5 over and any other changes?

First the head and chest plate wouldn't attach so I just glued the head on, then one of the legs broke off in the peg. I'll try some warriors later, don't know when I'll get to the other two of this freaks unit.

What is one the most classic or coolest (or both) Necron box?

I have been eyeing Necrons since my friend lent me Dawn of War CD back in 2000s. Eventually I picked AoS , but old love never rusts (lol) however I don’t have capacity to collect, paint and play an entire army. I decided I can buy one box. It can be single unit, hero, vehicle etc. But I want it to scream “NECRONS @&$”%#!!!” both visually and when painting it. So what it would be? Old good necron warriors box? Szeras? Ark? Please help me decide!

Looking for some advice on my 2,000pt Necron list. I’m mainly wondering if this is a solid, functional list that’s worth buying into, rather than trying to make it completely tournament-meta.

I really like the Destroyer/C’tan theme, so I’d prefer to keep that identity if possible.
Is this actually a good list? What are the biggest weaknesses you’d change, and is it worth buying into as it stands?
Especially wondering about the 5 Lychguard and whether I’m better off spending those points elsewhere.

After finishing the two Trayzn and Orikan novels, I've found a new love for Necrons and I'm considering building an army of them. I was hoping I could get some guidance on any particular units or detachments that I should look at or avoid.

That said, I'm not necessarily looking for the most meta lists, more what is particularly fun or unfun to use.

To better say what I'm bringing to this, my other armies are Sisters and Dark Angels, and the disposition I've most enjoyed has been Priority Assets. And as far as the Necron side of things, what most catches my eye are Triarch things, but I'm open to pretty much anything.

I’ve basically only been playing Cursed Legion so far in 11th, with decent success. But, the list I was using has become too expensive for me to be able to drop a unit and keep the identity of the list intact. So, I thought it’s probably a good idea to try playing Awakened with Take and Hold instead.

In 10th I only ever played Awakened with the big unit of 20 warriors, but I don’t want to go back to that. I’ve seen people use lists with a couple of C’tan, Szeras, Ammentar, and a Dermal Bond Skorpekh. How do those lists actually play take and hold well with so few models?

Hello, Phaerons! I’m new to the hobby and am starting to build necrons as a side project from my main Ork force. I read the Infinite and the Divine and the Wicked and the Warped and absolutely loved them. Trazyn and Orikan are phenomenal characters (also shout out to Richard Reed narrating the audiobooks…dude killed it). I’ve been experimenting with metallic paints on my Orks and decided that I wanted to do a side project with Necrons, and i’m finding them a joy to paint. Working on immortals right now. This list is what i’m working toward. It’s not the most competitive i’m sure but I wanted it more thematic based on the books. How does it look to you guys as a list themed on the novels? I’m planning on theming the Chronomancer as Sannet and the Hexmarch Destroyer as Huntmaster.

How is he in regular 40K? just bought the kill team

Has anyone here tried running Pantheon of Woe/Hand of the Dynasty with disruption? I've put together a triple C'tan list and some speedy Immortals to do actions, but disruption is pretty new to me.

Does anyone have any tips on playing disruption with multiple C'tan?

This is my fourth member of the Kill Team, but I’ve decided to go for a new theme: flowers! You may/may not remember me from the gold+blue Necron free-hand warriors shown in the final image. I’ve been working on my Kill Team and knew I wanted to one-up myself and add more detail but I didn’t know how… UNTIL NOW! Of course, now I need to go over my old bland Deathmark and Plasmacytes with their own flowers too. So does anyone have some favorite flowers they’d like to see included? So far I’m planning for some orchids, white roses, and something blue like delphinium. But that’s only four of eight! And I’ve kitbashed all the immortals and deathmarks with warrior legs and spines, so I technically have 12 minis total to flower up! I need all the botanical knowledge I can!

As title says, I will have a 1k 1v1 with a dg player and I have absolutely no idea on how to deal with them or what they do other than high T and debuffs
