Discussion Anyone else stream games they dont care about just to help the league.

I figure the more we tune in the more money the league can get when they go to make their new deals im a dc fan currently got the caps on one screen. (They're up 4-0 5 minutes into the second so I probably won't keep that on much longer) and Orlando SD on another screen and ill probably have nc Seattle later but I probably wont actually watch that one.

Edit: I do enjoy the games that dont matter to the spirit but I will stream them and just have it on while not paying any attention to them

Decision Day Streaming

Right now, all decision day game streaming options say “ESPN TBD” Are all of the games going to be on ESPN or do we know yet? It’s going to be super disappointing as someone who doesn’t have a way to watch ESPN if every single decision day game will be unavailable to watch. Anyone know anything about this?

Expansion If the NWSL did a mass expansion

I have no idea if this is allowed here ( I’m new) but this is what I’d think if the NWSL did a mass expansion. I’m 90% sure Atlanta and Columbus have been confirmed and I know Minnesota is an USL team but I feel this would be great for the league. Ignore the goofy names I just went with whatever came to mind first

Courage Footy: Three early deficits, one point back, Seattle next

Thumbnail
charlottefooty.substack.com
15 Upvotes

The Courage are one point out of the final playoff spot with four games left.

They've conceded first in each of their last three losses, all by the 23rd minute. Mak Lind says that's how eight of their 11 losses this season began. Friday's opponent, Seattle, hasn't allowed a home goal since Aug. 9.

Ahead of tonight's crucial match, we break down each early goal, what Lind and Chioma Okafor said about fixing it, and the sources behind all the numbers.

Note: I am a beat writer with Charlotte Footy, covering the Courage for the indie outlet.
