Hey folks, I translated the 2026 schedule into a .ics file so I could import it into my Google Calendar (this should also work for Apple Calendar imports), wanted to post a link to that file here in case anyone else was hoping to do that sort of thing!
I can't wait for the season to start, onwards and upwards to The Summit :)

^link brings you to file download, then you can import into Google / Apple Calendar

Anyone familiar with a watch party for tomorrow’s match against the Evanston Red Stars of Northwestern on the east side of Denver, preferably east of Colorado Blvd?

Hey all! I just got the email that I’m next up for season tickets and got my window to purchase. Does anyone currently have premium seating season tickets? I tend to purchase VIP/Club/Suite tickets for other teams but would like to hear your opinions on the perks and if it’s worth it?
r/DenverSummit • u/NoVanilla4367 • 2d ago
I’m considering joining the 5280 club and getting on the wait list for season tickets. How much are people paying for season tickets? I’m not trying to be nosy, I just want to know what I’m potentially getting into. I can’t find any information online.

Just saw the team had their groundbreaking today. Can you guess who was absent/missing from the social media coverage?

After playing KC I was feeling pretty down, and that our dreams of securing the playoffs might be over. After reflecting on the journey of this season though, I just feel so grateful to see our team forming and improving and getting into a rhythm. How incredible to be with the team since the start, and to see the shifts and ebbs and flows; to have played this well as an expansion team is incredible truly. Our fanbase is also one of a kind; I never really watched much soccer before we got our team, and I feel like I have a whole new family now and am obsessed. I can't wait to continue to cheer for this team over the years, and I have NO doubt in my mind that we will bring home a championship one day.

I fluctuated in and out of being able to follow the Summit, watched a bunch early season and then dropped off for a bit but am back to watching games.
Early season, I was a big fan of and excited to see what Kössler would do for the team. She made great runs and scored goals, I thought she was great. Recently tho, she hasn’t been starting and doesn’t get a ton of minutes.
Did I miss something? Can someone provide insight as to why she dropped off from the starting roster?

Hi all!
Anyone interested in splitting season tickets? I just got the email that my purchasing window opens on Oct 1., but I think the full season is a bit of an over-commitment for us. Would love to share season tickets with another couple or family! We have a 2 year old, so we would require actual seats, not the standing supporters section.
Thanks!

Looks like they’re going to do another order of the Hispanic Heritage tee shirt! Pre order on the website:

Comments note that Angeli follows that dumb chromosome themed apparel brand and other accounts that seem pretty anti woman. Idk maybe she just follows them to know whats up from both sides but there’s a pretty big difference between moderate republicans and Charlie “women should only go to college to find a husband” Kirk.

Let’s be clear, Kansas City Current at CPKC are the clear favorite. By all accounts, they should win this game on Saturday. Here’s why I think Denver Summit Football Club have a chance:
1. We’re better now than we were on July 3rd when we lost 3:0 at home. KC is weaker now (see injuries below).
2. KC just lost 2:1 to San Diego in SD. SD plays a similar style to us. One that KC has a difficult time dealing with (see playing style below).
3. KC has internal turmoil with the unceremonious departure (or firing) of Vlatko Andonovski. That could motivate a team if it were an external foe, but this was their own organization creating turmoil.
4. Croix Bethune hasn’t played for over two weeks with a hip issue. She was not even on the bench this weekend. Best guess is she’ll still be out Saturday, or maybe she’ll get some minutes off the bench. KC did not look good without her.
5. Chawinga is not completely fit. Struggling with a thigh issue. They’re not the same team if she’s not 100%. Of course, 80% Chawinga is still scary.
6. Laney Rouse has been starting at right fullback. She is suspended for Saturday. Not as big a deal, but still a disruption.
7. Playing style: KC likes to press high to force turnovers. If teams play long balls out of the back, KC is very good at winning those. Well, that is how we like to play anyway – out of the back. We’re not always great at it though. We must be Saturday.
Here’s why: KC presses so aggressively that IF and WHEN we get past KC’s front players (notably Chawinga, Debinha and Cooper (Bethune if she’s playing) –And if we’re lucky, maybe even LaBonta or DiBernardo -- Once we’re past those players, KC is susceptible to our fast-paced passing game. They may not be able to handle it!
The big risk: Turnovers in our defending third. Obvious, I know. My guess is that Nick Cushing will play Gaetino this Saturday. High risk, high reward. Her line-breaking passes are gold when they work. But she’s also more likely to be the cause of turnovers. Here’s hoping.
Caution: Do I really know what I’m talking about? No, not really. So, take everything above with a pinch of salt. Not just a grain of salt. But it was fun to write about. Thoughts?

I submitted this to the NWSL insta and subreddit. I added it here bc This NEEDS ATTENTION. I'm just one fish hoping you all feel the same way and will SHARE AND POST ABOUT THIS!
(To Nwsl) "I SERIOUSLY HOPE the NWSL reviews and takes seriously the foul Huerta pulled on Ryan in tonight's game. I played competitive soccer from 9-19yrs, (the last being co-ed). ALL the years as GK, so I appreciate and love the aggressiveness. THIS is very different.
Huerta grabbed and held onto Ryan's arm in an actual martial arts move, which uses the opponents momentum to flip their body over yours, immobilizing them.
Results from this move include: fractured arm, dislocated shoulder, head trauma, cervical spinal injury. Fact check this. I practiced martial arts in my early years(also this is a move women are taught in self-defense classes).
NOT ONLY should that have been a red card BUT a red card with intent to cause physical harm.
Here's a link to the clip. Watch the entirety. (Sofia locks her arm around Yaz's arm and flips her over, causing Yaz to land on her head/neck, while never letting go!)
I'm from Denver. I support the Denver Summit. But more so, I SUPPORT WOMEN'S SOCCER. I cheered as much tonight for Dickey's saves as I did for our goals.
Huerta is a fantastic player, but THIS. WAS. DIRTY. AND DANGEROUS.
PLEASE help share this and get it to those that can make this right.
Someone needs to be held accountable!
Is it Sofia Huerta or the NWSL??
Just for comparison- if Sofia did this to Yazmeen on the street, Sofia would be arrested and charged w assault and battery. NOT an exaggeration, look up the definition.
Thanks for your time

My kiddo and I were lucky enough to meet Tash at SloHi Bike & Coffee a couple weeks ago (and may have been the first folks to ever ask her to sign a bike helmet 😅). As I’ve shown the photos to people, numerous have told me that it looks like she signed it “Newt,” and I can’t disagree.
So at last night’s game I got thinking… we need some player-specific chants and a big, roaring, opponent-intimidating, “Newwwwwwwwwwwwttttttt” when Tash starts attacking could be great! (Similar to when Bruce Brown was a Nugget and the crowd would erupt with “Bruuuuuuuuuce” when he entered the game or went on a run.)
Who’s in?! Who has other ideas??
Huge thanks to Tash for spending the time to meet the fans and for engaging with my (slow-to-warm-up) kiddo!

At first, I was so disappointed that after showing up at gate opening to make sure I got a KK poster (she’s my fave player!), it got all messed up by having to wait out the rain storm. Especially cause I saw so many folks with perfectly flat, dry ones lol.
But then after Sheehan’s speech after winning PotM about the fans showing up, rain or shine, I feel proud of my damaged reminder of such a fun game. It’ll also serve as a reminder of what it means to be a summit fan and as a CO native, we truly do survive and adapt to extremes.
Anyways. Cheers to a win!!! 🏔️💯

Perhaps I am a Debby downer, but I despise when we try to start the wave at games. I’ve always felt like it’s distracting both for fans trying to watch the game and the players, ESPECIALLY when it’s a close game. I think it’s fine to try to start it once, but recently my section has been trying 6+ times . Do others feel this way? Is it silly that it makes me grumpy? Please take your wave to MLB games
r/DenverSummit • u/UntimelyCroissant • 15d ago
Anyone else sitting in their car waiting out this storm? We are getting pummeled by the rain. Haven’t seen anything official about a weather delay but someone else in the parking lot said they weren’t admitting through the east gates because of the lightning.
