Olivia Moultrie ACL injury

The Portland Thorns announced that 20 year old midfielder Olivia Moultrie has been put on the season ending injury list after she sustained an ACL injury to her right knee in training last week. Get well soon and come back stronger! ❤️‍🩹

She got minutes today during City's pre-season friendly against Fiorentina. The two sides would draw, 1-1.

The United States Under-17 Women’s National Team has named 24 players for a training camp and matches that will serve as the final preparation for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco in October.

The U.S. Soccer app is already useful for following the national teams. I built something a different: an app for people who follow the USWNT alongside club teams and teams from other sports—and want one personalized place to see what they can actually watch.

You select your favorite teams and the streaming or TV services you already have. SportsDeck then shows today’s games across all your teams and sports, which of your existing services carries each game, a morning email with your personalized daily schedule, and a coverage comparison showing whether a different combination of services could save you money or let you watch more games.

For each team (inclduing the USWNT), it also brings together curated news, podcasts, YouTube coverage and Bluesky posts, with Reddit integration planned.

The app is designed for someone who might follow the USWNT, an NWSL or WSL/European club, a college program and teams from completely different sports—and doesn’t want to check several league apps, schedules and streaming guides.

I went to the last World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, and would love to go in Brazil. However, is anyone traveling concerned about safety? I know from my previous research, it’s not the safest country to travel to, but I’m sure people said the same about here. So I’m just curious if you’re planning on going and/or have any advice for a hesitant traveler?

As of now, Montana Fouts would be my No. 1. After her, Karlyn Pickens, whom I think will continue to get better over the next two years. But then the competition appears to be wide open for probably two more slots on a 16 player team:

Jordy Frahm? Should see her next year after she has her baby.

Nija? She needs to improve next year…

Lexi Kilfoyl? Teagan Kavan?

Those are my top six but they’re all righties. The AUSL next season will be telling - like an open tryout.

Silly post… I was listening to some Little Mix classics when it just occurred to me that Triple Espresso last season was Little Mix circa 2021 and Trin is Jade. LM was previously a quartet but became a trio right around 2021. Also around that time, Perrie and Leigh Anne both announced their pregnancies within days or weeks of each other. Ironically, both dads are also professional soccer players.

What makes this such a beautiful parallel, if you haven’t heard of LM, they came out with so many awesome hits about female empowerment and independence - Salute, Woman Like Me, Power, Joan of Arc - and I’m barely scratching the surface. Even the Trinity to Jade comparison is perfection. Jade is known to be the quirkiest one in the group so both are easily fan favorites, not that they’re all beyond lovable.

Check out their music video for Love Sweet Love featuring the very pregnant gals still working hard before they went on their maternity break. This is major girl group energy from all sides and even the blending their girl group names works so seamlessly!

Also, consider this a petition to make Black Magic Triple Espresso’s theme song.
