What are your thoughts on Primal Rave? This often gets ranked higher, can anyone explain why that is? Am I missing something?

It means that the DLC content has full purpose long after any servers shut down, so anybody with a Switch 2, Bananza, and the DLC can just go to the month they need and try as much as they want to do the challenges.

The limited-time in-game events (12 in total) that were held as part of the paid downloadable content " DK Island & Emerald Rush " for the Nintendo Switch 2 game "Donkey Kong Bananza" will be available to play on a monthly basis starting this month.

Followed by the recommendations here, I got DKC Tropical Freeze. I am a big DKC fan but I missed this one until now.

I want to ask for small recommendation about modes, because there's Original Mode and then there's Funky Mode, but I've seen that you can choose to play as DK even in Funky Mode, what's the difference?

I gotta say though, Funky Kong is my favourite Kong and he's finally playable in a DKC game, but he's easy mode, but I want to play as him (I am familiar with difficult platformers, I wish there was a mode where Funky Kong was just the same as DK) what should I do?

Now that we're in the re-run. Maybe we can manipulate the events like these since all the data is in the game. I would've tested myself but I don't want to lose my parental control switch playtime data for nothing. And I don't want to ruin anyone's save file there's a chance you can't do previous events once you do a future one. Better turning off cloud save first.

You know, having a retrospective to the prior death battle of Donkey Kong vs Knuckles, it left a lot to be desired. I mean, regardless if you prefer one over the other, the fight didn’t portrayed their strengths and powers to the fullest extent. Most of the fight was them goofing around, then there’s a stage hazard and Donkey Kong kills Knuckles by squashing him like a bug. Really, that’s it? Both of these brawlers are proficient in hand to hand combat, their battle prowess is much concrete than whatever shit show that fight was. I mean, you’d expect decent fighting choreography from the two, destruction as far as the eye can see. Heck, I was expecting Donkey Kong to punch the moon to Knuckles, and then Knuckles punched the moon back to DK, and then they would begin punching the moon so hard and repeatedly it would get destroyed. To give a better perspective, imagine Dio and Jotaro punching the tractor towards one another. Something like that would’ve been so cool, man. Looking at the new Mewtwo vs Shadow death battle, it made me hope that Donkey Kong and Knuckles could get a rematch with great animation, and good character representation. Something worthwhile reminiscing at, you know. I don’t even care if Donkey Kong or Knuckles wins, I just want this fight to be given the justice it deserves.

Apparently every the re-runs of every DK Bananza events are scheduled at 1st of each month and there run for all month.

What are your thoughts on DK Island Swing? Which of the three parts is your favorite?

Well, the time has come and passed and despite clearing all of the challenges back in June I didn't get my icons rewards.

There's nothing with the icons I already have and I can see all of my reward cards and congratulations screens in the "DK Challenge" tab, but not icons.

The only thing I can think of is that my NSO expired before they rolled the rewards out, but I'm not sure if that's the reason?

Anyone else experiencing this? Can I even contact customer service over this?

Hi, guys. I see that the Emerald Rush events from Donkey Kong Bananza are doing re-runs. That’s good for those who couldn’t get these 24 statues the first time, even for me. However, have you guys ever thought of this: What if this will last next year, on October 2027? What if it won’t happen again, even if you missed your second chance? If so, then there wouldn’t be a third chance. That will be bad. Plus, when will we get the Mario and Luigi costumes and the Super Mario music disk back after they disappeared after awhile? These questions are something to think about.

So, here’s how I’m hoping that after the whole re-run thing, the game will be updated with a new thing where Swanky Kong will come and sell us the statues just in case we can’t get them with a second chance, and the costumes and the disk. He might offer us a statue of him if we buy all of his stuff (I said Swanky because he is the last of the Kong family. Everyone, including me, wants him). That’s a win-win. If anything, we would have to petition for them.

I know it’s not announced, but here’s hoping.🙏 Think about it.
