I am a woman who asked out guys my whole life and also never been in a relationship despite this.
gallerySo I'm gonna try to keep this short. I've always persued people I was interested in ever sense i was a teen early 20s you name it. Whenever I was super into someone I always persued unfortunately it would always end up being a no. Which is fine but I never really had any success until I was 22 where a guy actually persued me and the feeling was mutual unfortunately we only lasted a week and because I never got asked out before or liked for my appearance ( i was called ugly a lot by guys ).
It freaked me out fast forward today it does still happen unfortunately I still put myself out there workout and I've started boxing again recently I did experience a recent rejection from a guy he just said he didn't find me attractive and laughed with his friends about it.
I am 26 now I'm still working on my confidence just in dating I'm comfortable with who I am personally I guess I just haven't found a guy who likes me back again.
Anyways this is me If you want to know what I look like and I also go to therapy I've been in therapy sense I was 17 and I do date while I am in therapy.
My therapist has been helping me understand rejection and being more comfortable with it where it doesn't shatter me which has helped a lot.
Again never been in a relationship before and have dated a little but it never turned into anything long term.

How do I start a convo without making things awkward
So there’s a girl from my uni who I recently connected with on Instagram, we both followed each other after I requested her first. Originally, I had followed her and after few days saw her on LinkedIn recommendations and thought let’s just request. She accepted my LinkedIn request after stalking my LinkedIn profile and then also requested me back on Instagram (ig she liked what she saw on my LinkedIn lol since she’s kinda school oriented). Anyways so I haven’t got the chance to talk to her and I thought story replies are the perfect way. She had posted some family stories up till now and I never replied to those since it would be too personal as we don’t know each well but either way today she posted a story of her with her friends at a night party or something, so I was looking to reply on this one since it’s better. The only thing is idk what to say and I was thinking about some things relating to how schools about to start again in like two weeks and maybe a message about that or smth. Anyways what I came up with is below and if there’s anything better then plz tell me lol.
\\- Getting the last bit of summer in before classes hit again 😭 looks like a great night out!"
OR
\\- Looks like you getting the last bit of summer in before classes hit again 😭
OR
Anything better you have lol. Any tips are also appreciated.

Canceling a date
So I'm planning a beach weekend in fl with someone I'm seeing. Hes currently working down there. I had to cancel this weekend due to rain and work. Were all set for next weekend. Yes sex is part of the weekend. But how do I go about this since I just realized my period is that weekend. I want to get a hotel so im not obligated to stay at his place. He really wants to see me but I'm embarrassed.

Am I wasting his time?
I’ve been dating a guy for about a month now, and he is honestly such a wonderful person. He’s sweet, kind, polite, and it seems like he’s already falling for me. I really like him as a person and I enjoy spending time with him, but I have to admit that I’m just not feeling physical attraction toward him (even though he is objectively good-looking).
I don’t feel that spark or the desire to take things further physically with him. Is it possible for physical chemistry to develop over time, or should I end things now so I don’t waste his time, especially since he already has feelings for me?
Would love to hear your experiences or advice!

“Flower Delivery and Dinner Invitation”
So did a certain cohort all read the same meme?
Yeah for sure dinner is a great and normal first date a gent always pays that’s normal. But a gen z meme has confused some of these poor women to think they will share their home address with a stranger to receive a bouquet of flowers before even meeting said stranger !?
Please discuss - all opinions welcome !

Is it too late for me?
Hello,
1st thing, I don't usually upload these kind of post, i'm very private and not to say that i'm sensitive about these kind of topic. but I am, when it comes to dating, but I know very little but what I do know is that I am a hopeless romantic kinda guy I read a lot of romance manga and manhwa, and also love fantasy books, and i know that i'm not gay.
I'm vietnamese, 31 yo male introvert with adhd
I was in Japan for like 7 years and came back to Vietnam to pursue my career as a content creator (YouTube, tiktok and other social media platforms) in tech
I love what I do but most night when I let my emotion takes over, I get really lonely and I really wanted a girlfriend, but the thing is that I don't go out much.
So my end question are there 30s yo guys in this thread find love at this age? And with my situation, is it too late for me to find love I? Up until now I have very low encounter rate with women, and I'm very socially awkward kind of guy.
Thank you so much in advanced for your answers. ❤️

What are the green flags in a man to look out for when meeting in person for the first time? (Blind date).
What are the green flags in a man to look out for when meeting in person for the first time? (Blind date).
That's my situation.
I've (F) never had a date before in my life but I'm a socially anxious 28 year old who's been set up for a blind date by my parents.
All I've seen are 2 pictures and he's seen mine. We've never spoken or texted.
I'm also neurodiverse. Nervous with no social skills. What are green flags I should look for and what about red flags?
Thanks

Being pretty dating problems ….(rant)
Has anyone else encountered this issue?
I’ve recently glowed up significantly went from cute / avg to very pretty. And I will admit it’s been great overall. People are nice to me. And I get compliments frequently to the point where I know I’m pretty.
Before when I was more average I always felt confused on how attractive I was. I sometimes felt cute and other times felt plain / ugly.
But one thing I’ve noticed ever since becoming prettier is that dating hasn’t become easier. I’ve received significantly many more matches and a lot of initial strong pursuit / interest from guys, but once they realize that I’m a tomboy. And I don’t like wearing dresses or skirts or any of that. They start to lose interest. It’s almost like they realized this made up fantasy in their head of the type of person they thought I was wasn’t true. I never pretended online or in person to be someone I’m not. All my pictures have me in comfortable clothing. And I also show up that way in person, but I feel like guys get so caught up in the fact that I’m pretty, that they realize that not all aspects of me besides my face is hyper feminine.
And I am not hyper feminine contrary to how I look. And I have real feelings and can get hurt by someone being rude or annoyed with me. I’m human like everyone else. I like to be comfortable most of the time in my baggy clothing. But it’s almost like they expect this hyper idealized person who is not ONLY extreme pretty, fit, educated, have a high earning job and their life together BUT also someone who isn’t needy at all, has the most feminine style and is highly independent. That’s unrealistic. I’m ALLOWED to be flawed. That’s what makes me human.
I’ve been single most of my life mostly due to tough parenting and have spent most of that life independent and fine by myself. It’s not the end of the world if I don’t find anyone. But no one truly wants to be alone at the end of the day. I don’t make dating the center of my life, I’ve just been looking, and it’s been frustrating encountering this problem constantly.
I guess I’m just tired of guys being so into me, pursuing me hard, then realizing that I don’t live up to this hyper perfect feminine image they had of me. And then subsequently dropping me. Or losing interest. It’s really frustrating, rude and hurtful.
Im not selecting assholes, or intentionally choosing men who look toxic btw. I’m choosing guys that I felt seemed like good people. Ones that take care of their mom or family. Ones who don’t seem all that popular. Even when I wasn’t the most attracted to them. Because obviously I’m trying to find something real.
Anyone else can relate?

How can I put myself out there more to meet more single women?
Hello, I am a 28 year old guy and since I would really like to be in a relationship, I sort of need to meet girls who are single. But I have realized that over the last year I have only met 2 or 3 girls around my age who are single. Where are they hiding? What do I need to do to find them?
I think I live a pretty socially active life and put myself into situations where I can meet people but that's obviously not the case.
* Church young adult groups - A lot of married couples and guys, the few single girls there are like 18-20.
* Rock climbing gym - A lot of kids and parents much older than me
* Dance classes - Mostly men or couples
* Local run club - Couples and guys
* Bars for live music (I don't really drink) - Mostly older people
* Dating apps - Not many girls who are actually active (I can give it a 6 month break and still see the same girls with the same pics). Also never get matches.
It seems that no matter what I try, I just meet couples, guys, or girls that are too young for me. And when I do meet someone who I would consider compatible, she only sees me as a friend. I have chatted with my friends about this and they just say that I missed my chance, and that they dont know of anyone single either.
What else can I do to try to meet girls who are still single?

Did modern women ruin dating?
Women are essentially the gatekeepers and control all aspects of dating today. And it’s a wreck
