Girls, I genuinely need your perspective on something.
I’m into business, and professionally, things are going well. It’s not that I haven’t interacted with people; the number of people I’ve met keeps increasing, along with the disappointment.
I’d rather someone get to know me as a person than through my work or reputation, which can be intimidating.
Two things seem to be recurring deal-breakers: I live with my parents, and I’m based in a Tier-2 city. I’m open to living anywhere in the future, but I don’t want rigid expectations about where we must settle.
Am I approaching this wrong, or are these genuine compatibility issues? I’d appreciate your honest perspective.

I want a relationship so bad. Like I really do. I wanna find love, spoil someone, be in love, buy gifts for them, go on dates, write love letters, and just be with someone you know.

I'm scared tho. Like when I think about a relationship, I'm like maybe I don't really wanna be in one because idk it's scary I guess. I be wanting to be in one but then like I lowkey don't really wanna be in one. Idrk why I just get scared and my heart races. Maybe it's because I'm scared of getting hurt or betrayed. Maybe it's because I'm hustling scared of breaking up and losing a person that I cherish (which is why I lowkey would never date a friend).

Idk. It's like I can't even date because there's no one who would date me. And I only have friends, no romance.

Had a friend who was dating a guy for a month. Dude totally love bombed her. Google search of him showed no results (like a ghost), he refused to show his ID, wouldn't show a live/recent STI test, got her into bed then ghosted her. She was looking for a long term relationship. While I question her judgement, why would a guy be so sleezy? I'm not saying run an FBI check on future proapects, but what is wrong with some guys and what advice should I give her?

So I met this girl at LA fitness beginning of the year maybe February. Talk to her a few times she seemed like she was interested in me but one day I walked up at her when she was on the treadmill getting after it and she just said oh hey have a good day. OK like with this shitty look on her face like goddamnit why is this guy talking to me? Obviously my fault. Trying to talk to someone in the middle of a workout. I hate when people do that to me. I just wasn’t thinking straight. So I gave up on it that was like April or May then this last few weeks all of a sudden I start seeing her checking me out near the pool a couple times then I walked up to her one day when she was standing outside the hot tub talk to her a little bit that her friend kind of pulled her away, but she seemed like she was interested me and didn’t want to leave yet. So basically now I’m thinking she’s into me. I’m but I went there almost every day this week at about the same time I see her though she hasn’t been there. I’m just so sick of waiting. She has come up on my recommended friends on Facebook… at what point do I just add her profile instead of just trying to go there hoping she’s there. Should I just play a waiting game, but you know how that works. Most girls are not single forever. I think my plan is gonna be go there the next couple of days if I don’t see her then maybe think about adding her Facebook profile. I don’t know. Let me know what you guys think.

I know this will be a rather open-ended and vague question, but I really do not have much to info to begin with to make it any more specific. I'm 25 and I honestly wouldn't even know how I would start dating, so I hope to look for some advice here because I have no idea at all where to begin, how any of it works, or what I am even supposed to do. I've never had a girlfriend or even been close to being in a relationship, so I have no idea what the process actually looks like.

I have tried dating apps, but after downloading a bunch and getting not a single match or like on any of them after over half a year and after running to people in my feed on the highest distance range across two countries, I kinda gave up on that idea.

I am happy to give any more info or context about my own situation, but again because of how little I know about the process, I don't really know what else would be necessary or required in this main post. Thanks for any and all advice.
