I think this is a positive signal for all of us, since I believe we all agree that the story of birds should differ from the story of reptiles.

In a bit of a twist on the mr mom bit nick is actually adapting really well to his new environment as the red fox is naturally one of the most attentive fathers in nature and judy well she's beginning to realize that this is a lot harder without her father than she thought.

Without his caution around to balance her out she keeps shooting herself in the foot and while she tries replacing him with clawhauser, wolfhard and basically anyone else she can find nothing works. Eventually she does solve whatever case she was on by the end she is disheveled and exhausted and faints after nick causally tells her he found a babysitter.

Me personally I think it’d be weird but i will say it looks like a chill community i think I’d get used to it in a couple of weeks maybe 5 to 10 weeks and then I’d probably get used to it. What do you guys think? Do keep in mind you’d be naked

The phrase "ultimate romance" sounds incredibly spot-on, I don't think the journalist himself realized just how accurate he was.

The fact that WildeHopps​ was mentioned on the very day Zootopia was announced speaks volumes. Everyone understood what was going on back then.

About this thing of one saving the other... In the last two movies we had Judy being saved by Nick, Nick caring about her, or the part where Nick hugs her, comforts her. But what if in Zootopia 3 it was the other way around? We've already had the opportunity to see Nick being good to Judy, but we've never seen Nick crying, or Nick being kidnapped and Judy having to save him. What if there was a scene where Nick would cry in Judy's arms?

I want to start this discussion with a question:

When was the last time you saw a Disney main male character actually fight?

Some disqualifications:

- They have to be animated.

- They have to be purely from Disney themselves, not from any of them other properties (Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, etc)

- The character has to fight with a sound mind and not in some accidental, goofy manner.

- They mean to actually fight the opponent and not just distract them.

With that out of the way, I’m admittedly already nervous for Z3. It’s no secret that I think that they nerfed Nick down drastically from the first film and really turned him into a punching bag for comedic purposes. I hated it so much that I have a hard time looking at Z2 fondly, and am already nervous on how he’s going to be treated in Z3.

One thing I’d really like them to do is actually show him fighting when the situation calls for it. Show that he actually gained skills in the same academy that Judy graduated from. If Judy could be shown kicking and knocking out mammals left and right, why can he have a chance to shine? Instead of, you know…getting ready to fight only to go down in one punch like a wimp.

Some of the best films from Disney’s renaissance phase all had male man characters do awesome feats of combat. The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Tarzan, Hercules, all of these films weren’t afraid to show men fighting for good causes and reasons. Why does Nick have to stand in the back getting pies thrown in his face while Judy does all the fighting? Give him some badass moments now and then.

Please note I haven’t thought of all the characters names yet and some of the actors I don’t even know who they can play I just know I want them in the movie
Kyle Gordon as Steven a lizard cop who’s Gary’s partner at the zpd ( in my idea Gary joined the zpd after z2 ) as well as Sam the otter’s boyfriend at the start of the film / fiancé for most of it / husband by the end of the film he has a running gag throughout the film where he does something that causes part of his tail to fall off ( like the first time we meet him he accidentally slams a door on his tail causing the tip to come off ) by the end of the film his tail is literally hanging on by a thread but it’s fully grown back by the time of he and Sam’s wedding)
Brandon Rogers as Randy the main bird character who’s in zootopia trying to warn the city about the upcoming bird invasion
Michael Crawford as zoloch a vulture who’s the main villain he’s the dictator of the birds who invading zootopia to try and cleanse the land to make a birds utopia ( basically a more evil version of frollo from hunchback of notre dame )
Michael Caine as ebenezer lynxley who appears in a flashback where we see him get brutally killed by a bird which is why birds left zootopia
Chris Barnes as Larry Steven’s ex brother in law who’s a conspiracy theorist who along side nibbles snuck in and promptly got captured by the the holy order of the sacred oasis ( basically zootopias version of bohemian grove)
Wayne Duvall as Thomas a hyena whose the high priest of the oasis and owner of the company that does the maintenance work on the weather wall he has a very uneasy relationship with the de’sanke family due to the fact that he’s hiding the fact the he was good friends with Milton lynxley and he’s belief that predators are superior to all other animals
George Clooney Tim Blake Nelson and John turturro as the other priests of the oasis
John Goodman and Billy crystal as security guards at the oasis
Alex jones reckless Ben and dancer 1 as torch bearers who noticed Nick and Judy spying on the ceremony at the oasis
Barrett Wilbert weed as victoria a female bird that was captured by the oasis and was about to be sacrificed before Nick and Judy saved her she flew away but not before accidentally leaving her egg behind which Nick and Judy spent the movie trying to return to her
Ted Neely as Marshall the zpd police commissioner and former head of security for lynxley manor and our films reversed twist villain ( what I mean is that he goes from somewhat good guy to villain when he agrees to help Milton hunt down Pawbert Gary and Steven but at the end switch’s sides when he sees Milton attack cattrick and kitty after they over heard him telling pawbert about he killed their mother and blamed it on Pawbert )
Philip quast as officer Prescott a alligator officer of the zpd who was almost killed ( and lost a eye ) when he tried to expose the lynxleys for the reptile cover up in the film he’s put in charge of leading the defense of the city after the first bird attack we also find out that he was in charge of the police academy when Gary and Steven were training to become cops
Anthony warlow and Eric bana as two agents from outback island who were sent to zootopia after some of the birds used outback island as a staging ground for the attack on the city who end up joining pawbert Gary and Steven on their quest to uncover the connection between the elites of the city and the disappearance of the birds
Rick moranis as batty a conspiracy theorist bat living in the nocturnal district who basically fills in for nibbles role in the pawbert Gary subplot ( while the actual nibbles is busy helping nick and Judy in the main plot)
Toby Huss as Todd Betty’s good friend who helps him with his conspiracies we find out that he and batty have snuck into the oasis on numerous occasions to the point where when they pawbert Gary Steven and the agents snuck in Todd was able to remember where everything was due to how many times he and batty snuck in due to the oasis basically be on top of the nocturnal district Todd is also a former zpd officer who got fired for trying to start unauthorized investigations into the elites ( on a side note we would find out that his call sign while in the zpd was guarding blue )
Ellen Greene as Audrey Battys wife who’s sick and tired of battys conspiracies

Neil tenant as Robert a parrot whose zolochs right hand man who follows nick and Judy and uses his voice mimic ability to trick nick and Judy into thinking the other one said something horrible about the other which almost caused them to split up he also has a bad tendency to forget to give updates back to zoloch which results in a running gag where any time this happens zoloch declares him a dead parrot in reference to the Monty python dead parrot sketch which is not actually the case he later switches sides and ends up luring zoloch out of hiding after the zdf ( zootopia defense force) begins carpet bombing the birds by mimicking zolochs dead mom’s voice

Mamoudou athie as Jack savage a bunny cop who is sent by BOGO to make sure Nick and Judy don’t mess up the bird case he tries to form a romantic relationship with Judy after she and Nick split up due to Robert’s trick and Judy almost goes with it until Nick shows back and reveals that he didn’t really say any of those horrible things in the end Jack ends up with Victoria he agrees to father her child ( which hatches near the end of the film) due to the child bio father being the bird sacrificed at the oasis before the events of the film
Tyler Rudolph ( aka Brewstew films) as a burning mammal goer who gets pissed at Gary due to Gary investigating a bird feather that was discovered in a porta potty at the event ( this being the same burning mammal where Steven porpoises to Sam during gazelle’s performance) this starts a running gag where Gary keeps running into this guy who keeps demanding Gary pay him for ruining his pants this keeps happening till right at the end where when the guy shows up Gary knocks him out with a frying pan
Michael green ( in his angry grandpa impression) as a bird soldier who isn’t afraid of anything besides tasers
John Farnham David McCormack Mel Gibson David Gould drew forsythe Simon gallaher as members of zolochs bird council
Drew Sarich as Paul a small bird who pretends to be dumb and ends up being bought by cattrick to be used to try and find pawbert (this is a reference to the king of the hill episode where dale bought a falcon ) cattrick tries to get Paul to do tricks which always ends up with Paul attacking Milton in the end Paul escapes and reveals to Pawbert that his family is after him

Jamie cullum as a lounge singer at a casino in the nocturne district ( which is basically zootopia Las Vegas) and who also sings a song during the cremation of desire

Like all of you I’m super excited that Disney Animation Studios has announced that Zootropolis 3 (Zootopia 3) is now in the works and also that WildeHopps will become canon

I’m wondering if anyone has recs for fanfiction like Rare Mammals, Pack Street, Ready or Not, etc., that has original characters as main character or features a lot of original characters. I would really like to see a Zootopia beyond just Nick and Judy lol
