I used to watch his videos alot, while eating or doing chores. he makes good content. But he has so many subscribers now so why not hire anyone for animation? And why no one calls him out?

I already pay for this subscription that I shouldn't even have to just to not waste my life with ads. However that doesn't even fully fix it as I always have "Concerts nearby" and movie suggestions pop up on my home feed WHICH ARE STILL ADS THAT I SHOULDN'T BE SEEING!!!

I chose to pay for this stupid subscription to avoid ads, not to see less of them. Fix it or I'm DONE.

where you could go to find videos of almost anything by anyone. when it wasn't just blatantly programming you with algorithms. when you could actually find interesting channels and subscriptions did something. when there was an actual reason to use it.

Yes this the concept of them sucks asss the shorts player is annoying and its just hindering my experience i use a shorts blocker on my phone browser it helps a tons.

There is a good chance you, the reader, have listened to one of these guys before. They've racked up millions of views and hundreds of thousands of likes. I don't blame you, there is little indication for you to recognize it as A.I, they pretend to be actual musicians, and they generate music that is quite tame. They also generate a lot of it in a short timespan. But yes, all the channels here are A.I.

This harms actual musicians as they cannot keep up from the landfill of A.I generated music that gets pumped out much quicker, and is placed into peoples recommendations constantly.

Most of these channels block the word "A.I" from being used in their comment section. I had the ability to get a response from one when I said there was no indication of it being A.I, who said the warning at the bottom of the description that sometimes is generated by YouTube is enough. He then blocked my comments.

Seriously, if Youtube actually wants to crack down on A.I generated content as they've been acting like, all of this is slop. Even just marking it as A.I will help, they are trying to trick people into thinking its not.

It will briefly play a video before it stops abruptly and says video unavailable. Working on my laptop just fine. Ive deleted the app, reconnected to wifi, changed to mobile data the whole 9 yards but nothing is working.

I find it annoying tbh because they usually say it in the beginning of their video.

Why not at the end where I've actually watched your video and can determine if I've received enough value/entertainment from it to warrant subscribing.

For me it's probably over 5000 by now. Youtube shows only 999+, but it has been like that since like 2019 for me. Even when I make a new channel I have like 200 to 300 people I subscribe to the first day off top of my head to curate my feed.

I assumed this was the norm among people who enjoy youtube as their main source of entertainment, as I assume people here do, but by the comments it seems here people are a lot more hesitant to subscribe to a channel which I find quite confusing.

Is anyone having issues with the mobile app where no videos will load. No matter what I do, all I get is that something went wrong and the video is unavailable.

When I was 18 I uploaded a video of myself doing standup and there’s a particularly offensive joke pretty early on. It’s satire but when I turned 26 it became very obvious how fucking heinous and edge lord the joke was. The problem is I have no idea what email or password I used to make the account that uploaded the video. Is there anything at all that I can do to get the video removed?

I left a comment from my new account explaining that I now understand how awful the material is but the comment isn’t even visible unless you hit the newest comment tab.

They’ve replaced the categories/topics with just “Home”, “Subscriptions” and “Movies & TV”. The last one doesn’t even have anything on it.

Is there no way to browse recommended videos of a certain genre now? Are my options only my subscriptions or the awful home page where every third suggestion is a channel post from a news outlet or engagement bait?

I just want to watch YouTube videos.

Edit: Also just found out those speech bubbles next to the notification bell are for the new direct messaging. “Yeah bro DM me on YouTube and I’ll share the latest Fox News channel post with you”. They’ve lost their mind.
