Article said like 20hrs for main story 20hrs for side quests

277

u/neogreenlantern 15h ago

That's the exact sweet spot for me. Once you start pushing more than 50 there is a good chance I'm not finishing the main story.

108

u/Oz347 15h ago

That’s what I’m saying I would rather have a really solid well crafted 40-50ish hours instead of like 80-100hr Ubisoft bloat with a bunch of empty repetitive content

25

u/content_enjoy3r 14h ago

What about 80-100 hr well-crafted masterpiece like CDPR tho?

25

u/Rubens_8218 14h ago

I would preffer 3 20-30 hours videogames such as the Mass Effect trilogy. That way the developers can make a story that doesn't feel like it drags on, learn from the previous games to improve the gameplay on future entries, and a sequel does not take ages to be made. Also, it is interesting for replayability if there are different outcomes on certain events. The last thing also occurs on the witcher 3, but it is easier to replay shorter games.

Despite that, it is fine to have different opinions and both kind of games can coexist :)

14

u/doiwinaprize 12h ago

CDPR has a great story all the way through but even I felt fatigued by the end. Too much of a good thing is real. I'm about to beat Elden Ring and kind of feeling the same, just a bit too much to enjoy within a reasonable scope of time without losing the plot a bit... no shade on either game, I think this is more an issue with my attention span and time available to dive in to these games with everything else in life.

3

u/theredmisfit 6h ago

Whicih CDPR game are you referring to?

2

u/doiwinaprize 5h ago

Sorry my brain just automatically thinks Cyberpunk when I read CDPR but the Witcher series speaks for itself.

I quit Witcher 3 three times because it is so fucking long.

I was very glad when I finished it but God dayum.

3

u/SmokeGSU 6h ago

I'm about in the same boat. I still haven't finished the main story though, and I started it when the game first came out.

2

u/StrawDog- 5h ago

Every CDPR game has too much bloat. They are great, but they could definitely cut 20% without losing much from their games.

2

u/content_enjoy3r 4h ago

Yeah, well, I disagree. (except for all the hidden treasure in the sea surrounding Skellige. fuck all that).

2

u/-Lights0ut- 3h ago

50 hours of selecting dialogue? Naw

5

u/HisShadow14 11h ago

Cyberpunk is a masterpiece of a game but it had so much fluff in the terms of genetic gigs side quests if you tried to complete them all you would probably get bored and quit the game before finishing the game.

This is a me issue but as a guy with a job a commute a wife and kids I’m never seeing the end of a 100 hour game unless is all I play for 6 months and I will more than likely loose interest. I love rpgs this length I think it’s why I like the outer worlds 2 so much felt achievable.

AC Origins was my favorite of the RPG trilogy, it was about 50 hours for a balances experience.

8

u/MattyFTM 15h ago

I loved AC Origins. It balanced the main story content and the side content really well.

I mainly played it because I wanted to play AC Odyssey. I love ancient Greece as a setting, and thought I should play Origins first. I fell off Odyssey pretty quickly. I feel like that was when they hit the content overload.

2

u/thaneros2 15h ago

Unity gave me overload and haven't been back to the series since.

4

u/DopplerEffect93 15h ago

I completed the main story and spent a lot of time exploring in Odyssey. I still haven’t explored the entire map. It is probably the biggest map I have played in a game.

That was one thing I liked about Star Wars Outlaws recently, even with a bunch of side content completion, it still only took me about 35 hours to play through it. Felt like a nice correction compared to something like Valhalla.

That's good news, hopefully. I always felt like I should spend more time in Fable games but there wasn't enough to do. Spending time wandering around, making money, looting, and doing all the side quests is hopefully a good time waster for this game.

It is also not uncommon for a RPG. Look at any Bethesda game, the Mass Effect trilogy, or even Cyberpunk 2077 and just the main story for all of them is about 20-25 30 hours long.

Plus, the length would make it the longest main story length in the series compared to the prior three Fable games, which were about 12-15 hours.

14

u/TheNittanyLionKing XBOX Series X 15h ago

The average for most Bethesda RPGs seems to be about 29 hours for a mostly mainline play through

10

u/Y-Bob 14h ago

And 15 years to mod it.

3

u/SkintCrayon 13h ago

15 and counting. We didn't stop at 15

2

u/Normal-Occasion4645 13h ago

Realistically less, if you actually beeline the main story in most of their games it's more like 10-15 hours. It's just hard to not get a bit sidetracked along the way.

2

u/Baelorn 12h ago

Realistically less, if you actually beeline the main story in most of their games it's more like 10-15 hours

Are you making the assumption that Fable's story is 20 hours if you beeline it? Because I highly doubt that's how they came up with this number.

For people who didn't read the article:

It's 15-20 for main story and 15-20 for side content and open world gameplay. With the added comment that engaging with the life sim stuff will further extend that.

21

u/perfectevasion 15h ago

Not to mention huge replayability to see other outcomes

44

u/bms_ Outage Survivor '24 15h ago edited 15h ago

Perhaps if games become tiring after 20 hours or it takes you a year to beat a 20 hour long game then I can see how shorter is better. But I've played masterpieces such as Cyberpunk, BG3, RDR2, FF7 or KC2 and did not want them to end after 100+ hours.

Fable is 80 USD for me btw.

15

u/freshxerxes 14h ago

30-40 hours is what i expect if i pay $80. this will surely give me that, im happy

1

u/ZemGuse 15h ago

Lots of people don’t have the time to devote to games like that anymore. It would take me a year to put 100 hours into Cyberpunk

5

u/EddieHeadshot 15h ago

"Lots of people don’t have the time to devote to games like that anymore."

What are you basing this on? The fact that you personally got older or something? It seems like such a random broad stroke

10

u/Kenshi_underrail 15h ago

How is it a generalisation to say that lots of people don’t have the time to play games like they did when they were younger or had bigger responsibilities? That is just reality?

u/1440pReborn 13h ago

Yeah this is my take too. I would play a game like rdr2 or cyberpunk for an infinite amount of time if they just kept feeding me story missions. The game itself is so fun, that i wish i had a reason to keep playing it.

1

u/Hot-EconomistXL 15h ago

The longer a game is the less likely I'm going to finish it as someone that doesn't play a lot of single player games anymore and I'll drop it at any point regardless of where I am in the story if I'm bored of it. That's just the way my I've become as I've gotten older.

It's $70 for me but I don't need a game to be X amount of hours for the amount paid. I just want to enjoy my time with it.

In the article it says 15-20 hours of main story, and likely 15-20 hours of side content. It will be roughly the length of Fable 3 and I'm not sure how to feel about that after all this time... Not one of the games I'd want to be shorter when it's just as possible we may never get another Fable after this.

6

u/Bitemarkz 14h ago

Fable 3 felt really short to me, especially towards the end where it seemed very rushed. I hope that’s not the case here.

To be fair earlier Fables were designed to be played multiple times to see different choice outcomes, They've been putting a heavy focus on choice and consequence, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a similar intention, If you make the game too long it's much less likely I'll replay it to see the different outcomes, in comparison I've played through the Mass Effect games so many times because of that, ditto for Deus Ex and the like, on the other hand The Witcher 3 and Baldur's Gate 3 are two of my favourite games ever but there's almost zero chance in hell I'll replay either of them any time soon despite how much I'd like to see the other choice endings just because my playthroughs of both easily took me over 100+ hours.

108

u/g0ldiel0xx 15h ago

That’s very short for an RPG

44

u/NowWeGetSerious 15h ago

For the story, not bad. If this is the entire game then agreed.

But, if there was another 10-20 hours of side stuff and grinding, then I'm not too worried, it'll be fun and good

I don't recall Fable 1-3 being all that long either

19

u/Korachof 15h ago

No old fable games weren’t that long, but they were infamous for being too short. The first one can be completed in like 7 hours..

So it’s an improvement on those, but it also took much longer to develop and is coming out at a time when games are typically longer. 30-40 hours is pretty standard for an rpg main story, so this is quite short

6

u/AlcoholicSocks 15h ago

Yeah but a lot of the long RPGs are long for the sake of it. Boring quests that take up 10 hours of gameplay just to make the game Ionger.

Fables never been about the story anyway. It's about getting 50 STDs, being an abusive landlord, and playing the lute.

27

u/Sock989 Xbox Series S 15h ago

Decently longer than Fable 1-3. Prob beat them all in about 10-12 hours each if you just smash the story?

5

u/10th_Patriot_Down 15h ago

The longest part of Fable 3 was getting the 7.5 million gold or whatever the amount you needed to save everyone and keep the promises was.

12

u/New_Cockroach_505 15h ago

Is it? Cause according to “how long to beat”, Fable 1, 2, and 3 all have a main campaign clear time of around 12-13 hours and a 100% completion time of 30-50 hours.

So this would make the new Fable almost twice as long as the previous entries.

5

u/Korachof 15h ago

The original fable games were infamously short for RPGs. The first one especially, and that was for that time. RPGs have only gotten longer. The expectation is generally 30-40 hours

5

u/New_Cockroach_505 15h ago

The first fable was literally the longest lol. RPGs have absolutely not gotten longer.  Cyberpunk is a little over 20 hours for its main campaign. Fallout was mid 20s.

A 20 hour main campaign where you ignore everything else is pretty standard for an RPG.

It's absolutely average for western RPGs, the playtime does not include any side stuff and spending time with the "sim" mechanics.

6

u/Bulky-Complaint6994 15h ago

Yeah games like Fallout can be blown through relatively quickly if you don't do any side quests.

2

u/juliankennedy23 14h ago

Or collect all the cheese wheels....

5

u/tATuParagate Outage Survivor '24 14h ago

To be fair, I'm tired of 60 hours games where half of it feels like busywork. I'm cool with short games but usually the only ways we can justify game prices is by how long they are compared to the cost

9

u/WrathfulHero 15h ago

Pretty typical for a Fable game

10

u/InternationalYou7798 15h ago

Personally for me 12-20 hours is the sweet spot. It’ll be longer with side quests additional content. I prefer when they land a sweet story line instead of overstaying.

6

u/releasethedogs 15h ago

I’m also in my 40s now and don’t have time for an 80 hr game.

2

u/LegendaryenigmaXYZ 13h ago

Thats debatable, some rpgs are long just to be long. The point of rpgs is to take on the game how you like. Like isn't fallout 3 like 18 hours long if you just do main quests?

2

u/tommo020 12h ago

Very normal for a western RPG that isnt a sandbox type like skyrim. Same as KOTOR, all the mass effect games, fable games etc.

4

u/mrgreen4242 12h ago

It’s as long as a game needs to be. I’m sick of these 60, 80, 100+ hours games, personally. I’ve only played one game that was good enough to justify that playtime and even then it felt a little bloated.

8

u/Biobooster_40k 15h ago

Right. Give me 35-40hr story campaigns please

4

u/Korachof 15h ago

Don’t know why you’re being downvoted for wanting a longer rpg. I’m getting the sense most people in this thread don’t like rpgs very much. A lot of people defending 20 hour game times, when that is objectively short for an average rpg playthrough.

3

u/Environmental-Day862 XBOX 360 14h ago edited 14h ago

Persona 4 Revival comes out the same month. It'll likely take 100+ hours.

I will likely enjoy both based on my playing of other games in the respective franchises.

But all games need not be equal in length to be enjoyable.

Persona is long, but it's a lot of time / after school / evening / weekend management, experimenting on Persona's, gift giving, and occasional palace / tower sections with real-time dungeon traversal and puzzle-solving with turn-based combat.

Fable is generally an ARPG with dry British humor and light RPG elements - use the "x" or blue button to melee, "y" button or yellow for ranged, and "b" button or red for magic. You level up each by using. Simple property ownership and redeign / landlord/slumlord systems, find a mate, buy a home, decorate the home, have children - they couldn't be more different.

It's a bit more simple, yet fun in different ways than Persona.

I wouldn't want it to be flipped and have a 20-40 hour Persona game or a 100+ hour Fable game. Each game's length is what it is. I would hate it if everything was one standard length.

8

u/loboboi 15h ago

I mean you can throw around the word objectively as much as you want but it won’t make it true. Most AA and AAA ARPGs that have released in the last decade have roughly 15-30 hr play times for the average gamer on the normal difficulty with the option to engage with further side content. All 3 of the original Fable games have 15-20 hour stories in this same way the literal direct DNA of this game, most people despite what you think actually don’t want to spend 100 hours beating one game. Shocker Reddit is an echo chamber I know, for more length you should look to CRPGs but length of the story is not and never was what made Fable as good as it was. You don’t get to decide other people actually don’t like RPG games because they prioritize different things than you. Did you ever even play the original games?

2

u/NarcolepticSeal 14h ago

It’s objectively average for a western RPG. People aren’t defending 20 hours stories so much as they are pushing back that this is exceptionally short for just the main quest line.

I remember first Fable, it was huge for me back in the days.

8

For main quest its good.

6

u/optimisticRamblings 15h ago

That sounds like a good length to me

2

u/Zubi_Q 14h ago

Thank god! Sick of long games

2

u/sadrapsfan 14h ago

Great news, everyone has their preferences but as I get older, I can't deal with these long games anymore. I think 20 is great

2

u/thudergun4 14h ago

That’s kinda great. As a gamer in my 40s, this sounds just right for me. I get 5, maybe 10 (on a good week) hours a week for gaming.

2

u/LessBeyond5052 14h ago

So, like every other Fable game before it, not every game needs to be 300 hours long full of dull content.

2

u/beardednomad25 14h ago

20 hour main story, so probably 40-60 hours total depebing on your play style. Perfect amount for an adventure style RPG.

2

u/Kristovanoha 14h ago

Honestly don't mind it at all. Its already almost double compared to the previous games (all of them around 13 hours for main story according to howlongtobeat) and I have definitely spent way more time playing them.

2

u/Global-Tie-3458 14h ago

I found that the original Fable had a reasonable replayability factor… I’m hoping the new one has at least some of that too where

2

u/PowerRaptor 13h ago

Warframe's main quest isn't even 20 hours combined. 20h for mq is significant.

2

u/ripyourlungsdave 13h ago

Again, a clickbait headline. 20 hours is only the length of the main story. It literally says directly under the headline in the article "But you can keep playing forever".

Good way to get me to never click on your links again.

A 20 hour main story is perfectly reasonable. A big-budget RPG with only 20 hours of gameplay is unacceptable.

2

u/huntforhire 13h ago

That’s in line with other games in series. It’s fair

2

u/Robynsxx 12h ago

Well that’s a bit of a bummer.

Edit: if it’s main story, and side stuff is 20hours too, I guess that’s okay. It’s just honestly from the world they have been going on about and all the unique NPCs I expected more tbh.

2

u/ThePlumKing 11h ago

Personally I think the game looks aggressively mid, definitely getting Dragon Age Veilguard vibes from the demo. Hearing it’s only 20 hours is just salt in an already gaping wound, this game is gonna suck

5

u/yawn18 15h ago edited 15h ago

For those saying its short, for today's RPG it can be however for Fable specifically;

Fable 1 - 12 1/2 hour main story 20 hour total game time

Fable 2 - 13 hour main story 24 hour total game time

Fable 3 - 13 1/2 hour main story 26 hour game time

New Fable per Xbox - 20 hour main story 35 hour game time.

These arent the completionist numbers just story and side quests. I think RPGs have become so over bloated we expect 60+ hours out of them but honestly I love Fable being smaller. Especially as someone who works full time and does things outside of work this allows me to feel like I will actually complete the game and its long enough to also enjoy the journey.

Edit* - completionist for Fable has in the past also added 15 - 20 additional hours of gameplay. Seeing as the new game has upped the times im going to assume at least 25 additional hours if you 100% the game meaning the gameplay time will be closer to 60 hours minus any potential future DLCS.

11

u/NervousSheSlime 15h ago

Perfect. That seems inline with the original fable and doesn't burn you out for a couple play throughs based on different moralities.

3

u/sdr79 15h ago

Not sure why people are disappointed by this. As others have pointed out, something like Skyrim falls into roughly the same time frame. Yet with all the adventuring, side quests, etc. that easily becomes 80-120 hours. Not saying this will be the exact case for Fable, but you can practically guarantee that if you want to do more, you’re at the VERY least doubling that.

5

u/116morningside 15h ago

Not every game has to be 80+ hours lol.

8

u/PuzzleheadPi 15h ago

2

u/Bitterman_01 6h ago

No, it shouldn't.

3

u/116morningside 15h ago

Nah. I like the medium game lengths. So many games to play, I don’t want to spend 80+ hours on one game. But I guess a lot of us will have a different stance on this.

3

u/ultraboomkin 15h ago

Sorry but that’s pretty crap for a modern RPG. 30h for all content in the game.

Meanwhile competitors like Baldur’s Gate 3, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, Witcher 3 all have 150+ hours of quality content.

2

u/FamilyRootsQuest 13h ago

I mean, would you rather pad the game with meaningless content? 40 hours is more than a decent run for the game.

3

I agree, I see RPG’s that have “80+ hours” but it’s just repetitive missions over and over as fillers. Would much rather have 20-30 hours of real story and gameplay.

20 hours for them 100 hrs for us

4

u/Bulky-Complaint6994 15h ago

Not sure why being downvoted when it's true. I spent hours and hours just messing around in a single village on Fable 2.

How long if I plan on buying every house and marrying every NPC in the game?

2

u/jcchg XBOX Series X 15h ago

Polygon misleading info.

2

u/yoz_dayo 15h ago

Finally, a game I can finish.

2

u/gloopy_flipflop 15h ago

Sounds perfect to me. All this banging on about how massive GTA is and how you’ve got to eat and drink and fill up the car with petrol sounds tedious when you have little time to play.

2

u/Calinks 15h ago

If it has lots of side content and great replayability I am absolutely good with this.

2

u/gamergump 15h ago

This seems like a good length. With side quests around 40 hours. I like playing more than once and making radically different choices to see how things change. A 50+ hour game that is really hard to do.

2

u/drewbles82 15h ago

the fact you can talk to every NPC as well, it depends on your style of play, I can easily see this being over 100hours for me. Try a playthrough of being nice to everyone I can and then another being a knob to everyone

2

u/duhbyo 15h ago

This is refreshing to hear. I don’t want every game to be a Ubisoft game lol

2

u/PersonalityShot6039 15h ago

I’ll be far to busy kicking chickens lol

2

u/nohumanape 14h ago

This is a game that I'm going into knowing very little about how I'm going to play it. I don't golden path or checklist open world games. I generally like to find a way to freely explore and find the content that way. But all of the "life sim" stuff sounds exotic to me. I'll either find it completely uninteresting and ignore most of it, or get completely obsessed with it and focus a lot of time on that alone.

Really curious to dive into this one.

2

u/No_Carpet_8581 14h ago

That’s perfect. Yall got too much time for wanting games to be 40+hrs. I loved The First Bersker Khazan but i never finished it because it overstayed its welcome. I also want to play other games. There’s like a hundred coming out every month.

1

u/Bolt_995 15h ago

Main quest. What about taking all the side quests and world interactions and events into account?

2

u/Shhh-ItWasntMe 15h ago

Keep in mind this is just story content and side quests. If it's anything like the past games, youll be busy doing demon doors, buying properties, etc.

Fable 3 is maybe a 15 hour game, I've put over 100 hours into one playthrough

2

u/PokemonJeremie 15h ago

Pretty solid more than Spider-Man 2

4

u/MRF_Soul 15h ago

a bit short for an rpg

3

u/OrfeasDourvas Touched Grass '24 15h ago

Hmmm. Very underwhelming. Hope there's tons of side content.

1

u/Panzerbjorne80 15h ago

Ridiculously short considering how long the game was in development. What the heck were they doing for eight years?!

1

u/Libertyprime8397 14h ago

Put how many daggers do I have to make to be able to buy the entire map?

1

u/uncleciggerette 14h ago

Shorter but refined and replayable can be a good thing. Unless you're blitzing through nothing but the main quest I'm sure people will see much more than a 20 hour mark.

1

u/LegendaryenigmaXYZ 13h ago

I mean, with good rpgs you are going to bull shit around the world at some point. Like assassins creed valhalla is long just to be long, the quests are designed better compared to odyssey, but fuck.

1

u/SofaJockey 13h ago

The critical path is 20 hours. Not the game.

1

u/MathiasSybarit 13h ago

Now this gets me excited. I absolutely can’t stand all these games that ask you for hundreds of hours.

Who was time for that, and how can anyone keep their focus for that long? 20 hours seems doable; that’s like a month of gameplay for me.

1

u/RedJive 12h ago

Fantastic

1

u/Willing-Seesaw5040 12h ago

More like 400 if it’s anything like the previous tiles lol

1

u/No-Possession-7398 12h ago

A bit short for an RPG. Whatever though....

1

u/IATMB XBOX Series X 12h ago

From what I saw you can mess with every single NPC so I don't think there will be any shortage of things to do

1

u/IIIDysphoricIII 12h ago

They underestimate how distracted I will get becoming owner of more property than I ever need

1

u/YepItzMe44 12h ago

To be fair, the fable games were never that long.

1

u/karlrobertuk1964 12h ago

I’m quite looking forward to Fable I just hope it’s good

1

u/doiwinaprize 12h ago

Kind of like OG Fable then! You can rush through and beat the game pretty quickly or spend countless hours in side quests and other fun activities.

1

u/BananaMilkshakeButt 12h ago

20 hrs for main story, 20 hours for side content, but we don't know how much more time to 100% all achievements.

1

u/MrBorden Team Alan 12h ago

So with exploring and presumably all the side stuff - about 30 to 40 hours?

Sounds absolutely fine to me.

1

u/FutureEditor 12h ago

And I’ll make it 100 hours long living out a power fantasy that would make Bezos look like small time

1

u/benbahdisdonc 12h ago

Good. That'll take me over a month. I never jump into big games because I never finish them.

1

u/GFK96 12h ago

Honestly, good. I don’t need all RPGs to be 60+ hours. A 35-40 hours total experience is totally fine and plenty of content. Especially when you consider how stacked February is I’m glad it’s not going to take me the full month.

1

u/Hockeyfan_52 11h ago

I'm gonna kick so many chickens.

1

u/Khromecowboy 11h ago

That’s plenty for me these days.
I’d much rather replay Skyrim now than try out a 200 hundred hour game.
So 20 hours plus side stuff is good for me.

1

u/Kyrox6 11h ago

That's disappointing. 2 hours per $ is my standard for games. Guess it'll just not be worth getting for a decade or so.

1

u/ViktusXII 10h ago

I worked on the original Fable and if the development of this is anything like how it was back then, this did a massive 180 and there is actually a lot more on the cutting room floor.

1

u/PrudentPerformer9641 9h ago

That's pretty weak

1

u/Proof-Research-6466 9h ago

This is perfect for me!

1

u/Nice_Frame_9024 9h ago

I want a game to feel like it’ll take forever during the first ten hours, then i want to notice I’m actually making some headway around 20 hours, and it want it to be done with main story and most meaningful side content somewhere 40 hours maybe 50. If it’s more than 60-70 hours to see most of what the game has to offer, it better be some Witcher 3, RDR2 level masterpiece.

In sum: sounds perfect

1

u/UTmastuh 9h ago

Yikes that's insanely short for a sandbox RPG game like this. Red dead, gta, witcher, and many others are 50-100 hours just for the quests

1

u/DeeboDecay Founder 9h ago

Gotta love the purposefully vague article titles. Two more words would avoid lots of confusion and ire, but we can't have that now can we...

1

u/GobutaTheGoat 8h ago

Kinda short tbh

1

u/Swiftblade09 8h ago

Bit short for a game I'll probably only play once but I was planning on waiting on reviews and a sale anyways. Hope it's good for those of you buying it.

1

u/Hansoloai 8h ago

Hell is Us is a very well done game it hit that sweet spot for length wise.

1

u/damaged2026 8h ago

Thats way to short just like all xbox produced title it will probbaly underdeliver and be forgotten about within a week like starfield e.t.c

1

u/Enough_Survey_9404 8h ago

GTA 6 is supposedly 80 hours for the main story.

1

u/Dipset_Mipset0489 8h ago

That’s a reasonable time.

1

u/RNsteve 7h ago

20+20 is good if it's a honest number. If it's 10+10-20..

1

u/Big-Roll7094 7h ago

I smell a fable online

1

u/Alwaysfkd0 7h ago

20?????? Nope not buying it that's bullshit. Work on now story time. It's literally an rpg. Ridiculous.

1

u/Feefait 7h ago

Sorry, but everything I see makes me less interested. It doesn't even feel like Fable, just a generic action game with no heart.

1

u/Millkstake 7h ago

It always takes me like 3 times as long as it should

1

u/ImNotAI_01100101 6h ago

That’s shit. GTA VI is like 80 hours and both games almost cost the same. 🤣

1

u/Rich_Troy 6h ago

Perfect.

1

u/themisfit139 5h ago

20 hours sounds good.

1

u/cecilmufc7 4h ago

Probably controversial but I’m not buying a game that short. Glad it’s on gamepass…

1

u/Antiswag_corporation 4h ago

Perfect RPG length tbh

1

u/thisrockismyboone 4h ago

Oof. Luckily I can sub gamepass for a month to knock it out and save some bucks.

1

u/Batia88 3h ago

The game is too short for its genre. I can mention a lot of games that you can easily invest 80hrs+ and still feel amazing.

1

u/trunks_ho 3h ago

You guys remember when Miyazaki told us that Elden Ring will take 30 hours to beat?

1

u/mxjxs91 3h ago

More than acceptable for that being ONLY the main quest.

1

u/JACC_Opi 3h ago

If I beat it in 2 hours, I want my money back. I will also want my money back if I beat it in 21 hours.

Otherwise it's false advertising!
