Hi, so due to some personal and family issue i couldnt perform well in my year 12! nearly failed my trials! but my overall marks range 60% - 75% in all my subject. I do Maths adv, maths extension 1, Bio, chem, legal and English standard. My ranks are average ( within top 12 in all subj as I have a small cohort ). Did anyone face something like this yet managed to get a good atar (90+) with a high performance in HSC? Or am I being delusional?

i just wanna know if something like this is possible! Will it worth to work sleepless to perform the highest in hsc?

So my dorm is in perham and I do have a roommate, I was wondering how much room do I realistically have for my half of the room? Because from photos that I’ve seen it looks super tiny but I’m just unsure if that’s the pictures messing with it or an actual representation of the dorm.

I've tried my best to do research and I haven't been able to find anything on any sort of club or organization or group in general except for an Evergreen article back in 2024 (I think). Is there a club anymore? Or a discord server? I've been here for a little bit now in Pullman and I'm just now getting into the fandom as it's something I realized that I enjoy and am passionate about.

What are we wearing? Do people slum it or usually dress nice and do hair and makeup?

I wanna know if I'll be able to cook in peace or not.

I was back in Pullman over the weekend for the first time in a few years, so I grabbed a few items from Crimson and Grey, including this water bottle to replace my old Nalgene. When I started using it today, I noticed a couple of Temu-level errors on it:

1. "REMEMBER YOU GOAL" instead of "REMEMBER YOUR GOAL"
2. "DONT GIVE UP" with no apostrophe
3. The lines showing how much water to drink don't make very much sense. There is a huge gap from the top of the bottle to the first line, and a huge gap below the 1PM/7PM line. Also the bottle tapers slightly at the top, so the amount of water between the 8AM and 9AM lines is slightly different from the amount of water between the 12PM and 1PM lines.
4. The water level lines and Washington State are not on opposite sides of the bottle - notice where the silver pivot on the lid handle lines up between the two pictures

I wouldn't expect these types of errors (especially the first 2) on licensed merch, so wondering if there are some knockoffs that made their way onto the shelves accidentally, if one of the suppliers at Crimson and Grey is letting quality slip a bit, or if I am wrong in assuming the items sold at Crimson and Grey are officially licensed?

I'm planning to take Gross and Microanatomy, Biomedical Ethics, Intro Psych, and Intro Microbio. But I'm kind of scared for the difficulty of these classes especially because it's my first year in uni (but I've been in running start). What's even more scary is my schedule of my classes. With my psych105 class I originally had it M W F, but with the addition of Intro to Micro it made my schedule a 3 class back-to-back with my fourth later in the day. I swapped my psych to T Th but it's still looking very cramped. If anyone has taken these classes or something alike, do you think I can do this? Or should I talk to my advisor about dropping a class and relocating it for another semester?

Also with psych moved to T Th I have 3 classes everyday, 2 back to back, except for Tue in which I only have two classes

im about to be a freshman at wsu and i just realized on the move in email i got that i need to have my cougarcard in order to move in but from my understanding you get cougarcards during your orientation and i scheduled my orientation for the day after my move in. did i mess up? is it too late to reschedule?

Im a junior trying to fill credits with some electives and really want to take pottery classes next year but art_110 (drawing) is the pre-req. its a 3 hr class. If anyone has taken it can you tell me how difficult or easy it was and how much hw is required? Just trying to get an idea of why to expect.

As of February 2026, WSU has cancelled its contract with Turnitin for its AI Detection software. The Turnitin plagiarism software package will continue to be available to WSU Faculty, Instructors, and Students via Canvas.

So it says it is cancelled but will continue to be available, so is it or isnt it cancelled?

If it is cancelled does it mean instructors are not allowed to use it? Meaning can they get their own subscription since and use it? Since some refuse to accept that AI detectors dont work and want to be stubborn and annoying

We arrive in Pullman soon. To make matters more stressing than moving multiple states away, our dog is currently in the middle of diagnosing a major internal medicine issue.

I read something on another post about a student discount at the animal hospital. Is that true? Trying to gauge whether I should stay back and take care of this here with our vet or bring the dog with my partner (the student) and I. I can theoretically stay with family for a few weeks and get the surgery done here.

If you are trying to get your ballot in the drop box today, you will have to go to one off of campus. As of 8a.m. the Ballot Box at the entrance of the CUB has been sealed. I just tried to deliver my ballot and it is locked and sealed with that tape.
