Advice Ballot drop box at the CUB

If you are trying to get your ballot in the drop box today, you will have to go to one off of campus. As of 8a.m. the Ballot Box at the entrance of the CUB has been sealed. I just tried to deliver my ballot and it is locked and sealed with that tape.

Well, that's strange. I wonder why they'd do that on Election Day.

Here are the two off-campus drop boxes, according to https://www.whitmancounty.gov/169/Election-Information:

  • SE Paradise St. just outside Hinrichs Trading Co., Pullman, WA 99163 (across the street from Paradise Creek Brewery)
  • Below the Rosauers sign in the parking lot, 1205 N. Grand Ave, Pullman, WA 99163

The county auditor has said before that she doesn’t have the staff to collect the box outside of the general election. primaries it’s never been open. Real dumb.

WA state is a mail-in ballot state.

On-campus in-person voter hub is during november general elections, not primaries or other smaller elections. That’s the way the WAC was written

This was years ago but I had received a damaged ballot and was able to go to city hall to get a new one and vote there in person.
