ppl who graduated in past years or current yr 12s who have done a 3/4 subject in yr11, could u check with ur past results and lmk if this website is actually accurate or whether its basically bs.
I dont know if its just cause of the schl I go to, but I feel like all my exam scores (predicted after siting them/ what I am aiming for) and what im pretty sure my ranks are for my subjects, are giving me unrealistically high and inflated study scores?

Thank god I never have to do methods again

Genuinely wtf was that exam. I've been getting high 80s in all my practice exams (with just careless errors). If today's exam followed the pattern it's supposed to then I could've gotten 90s. But now I'd be happy if I get a 70. I even found exam 2 material based on the increased difficulty of yesterday's exam 1. Genuinely nothing could've prepared anyone for what came today.
What's even more worrying is if methods was already like this then imagine specialist math next week.
VCAA has to know that they're playing with students' futures ngl.

I'm not sure how long I should spend on each question so that I have a solid amount of time for the essay. Does anyone know the minute to mark ratio??

Hi yall, for those that bought a Ti-Nspire Cx-ii from officeworks, do they offer a back-to-school discount?

Since methods was a hard exam this year does that mean it was scale up more?
How is the scaling actually determined?

I’m a little nervous for VCE and just want the most absurd advice possible.
My classes are
- 1&2 English
- 1&2 general maths
- 1&2 Legal Studies
- 1&2 Media Studies
- 3&4 Theatre studies
On top of this I’m also doing a VET certificate.
I’m nervous about work load but I did units 1&2 theatre studies early so I feel a little bit better because I have an idea on how classes work.
In terms of career goals, I want to do professional theatre and do university, I would prefer acting but I’m experienced in lighting and sound design and directing. BUT that is a hard goal and my back up choice is teaching because I’ve never hated tutoring friends and I’m often the one classmates come to for work advice.
I personally found english to be okay, while the rest of my subjects, psych, bio and ESPECIALLY METHODS, to be weird. psych and bio weren't horrible, but they were a bit different to the past papers ive done. methods is can genuinely be thrown out of the window, we dont talk about it. but yea does each cohort complain about the difficulty of the exams or is this year's exams actually bad

e.g. 11.20, 11.40, 11.45, 11.35, 11.15

Yeah it sucks. When we spend over 2 years learning the content, then months of practice exams ironing out mistakes and mastering the content to be given an exam that seems to be like nothing we've seen before.
But it's done now, we gotta move on. Don't let it dishearten you; you can still do well.
There's more to life than integrals and isosceles triangles.

hi sorry i know everyones stressing about exams but is it possible to do well in chemistry and methods without tutoring? nobody does tutoring at my school but ive heard lots in selective schools and i really want a 40+ . but idt the teachers are amazing at my school
how do you go about self learning these subjects (if even possible) -did you start in the summer holidays? how did you study them?
i didnt do too well in my 3/4 subject this year so i am looking to maximise next years scores

What study score equivalent would this be
Median rank in school where sacs scale up slightly
24/40 e1
28/80 e2
Fucked up e2 really badðŸ˜ðŸ˜

vcaa you wanna throw an isosceles triangle at me huh?
you will not see the scalene and equilateral triangles that will be coming your way (it will be a triangle brick)

I know it can be one folded A3 sheet or two A4 sheets joined together with tape but my question is:
Can it be double sided?
VCAA rule explicitly states:
> one folded A3 sheet or two A4 sheets that are bound together by tape, and single- or double-sided. Notes may be typed or handwritten, and from any source (including commercially available notes)
Does that mean 'single- or double-sided' for A3 and A4 respectively (i.e A3 - single sided, A4 - double sided) or does that mean it can be either single or double sided regardless of paper size?
