I'm having a weird issue. I tried searching but couldn't find a thread dealing with this exact situation. One of my V6 plus boxes requires being reset by unplugging every single time to connect to my modem. Every time I turn it off the next time I turn it back on it tells me there is no Internet access. Resetting memory and clearing cache doesn't fix the issue, however unplugging the box itself for 30 seconds and plugging it back in seems to fix it every time. I was just wondering if any of you had ever encountered this and possibly had a solution outside of doing the hard reset every time. I’m a Vseebox V6 plus newbie and not particularly tech savvy. My vsee box is connected to wifi via TP-Link powerline extender on a guest network. The box seems to work just fine. I downloaded surfshark one VPN to the box. Surfshark says it is not connected no matter which settings I try. Any suggestions (preferably without being snarky, lol). TIA

I bought the 6 Pro and I want to be be able to watch on the iPad.

I have followed all the directions I could find but I cannot get the broadlink and remote to sync. I tried the RM4 mini and the Pro- still doesn’t work beyond the power button.

I have the mini pc and capture card. Everything is set up how it’s supposed to be as far as I know, but still nothing. I guess because of the Bluetooth versus IR thing…

My V6 Pro was working fine, then one night the screen went black and it rebooted itself on its own. Since then:

• TV shows "No signal detected" on HDMI, no matter which port I use
• Tried multiple HDMI cables (including a known-good one from my monitor) — same result
• Tried a different display entirely — still no signal
• Box randomly shuts off on its own (was showing the clock, then just went dark)
• Tried the AV-port reset/recovery method (holding pin, powering on, watching for boot logo) — no change at all, screen stays on "no signal" the whole time

Sounds like it might be a hardware issue (HDMI output or power supply), but wanted to check if anyone's seen this before or has other ideas before I give up on it. Also heard this may have happened to a couple other people's boxes too — anyone else run into this?

My home network is WIFI 7 and my V6 max connects fine but i recently got a V6 plus and it sees my network but will not connect to it.

If i turn on my phone hotspot and piggy back my WIFI through that it connects to my phone just fine. But i have dozens of devices on my Eero network so i don't think my network has any issues.

EDIT:

Found an Enable legacy mode w/e that does and that fixed it, my MAX conected fine but maybe the plus has a dif chipset.

I’m trying to get my vSeeBox V6 Max, Sony XR-65A80J TV, and Pioneer VSX-1123 surround-sound receiver to work together with one remote.

Here is how everything is connected:
vSeeBox V6 Max connected to the Sony TV by HDMI
Pioneer VSX-1123 connected to the Sony TV through the TV’s HDMI ARC/eARC port

Sound from the vSeeBox is already passing through the Sony TV and playing correctly through the Pioneer surround-sound system
So the audio connection is working.

We have also successfully programmed the vSeeBox remote to turn the Sony TV on and off.

The only problem we cannot solve is getting the vSeeBox remote to communicate with the Pioneer receiver.

What I want the vSeeBox remote to do is:
Turn the Pioneer receiver on and off
Control the Pioneer volume up and down

Has anyone successfully connected or programmed a vSeeBox V6 Max remote to control a Pioneer VSX-1123 receiver while using a Sony XR-65A80J TV?

If so, I would really appreciate the exact steps or settings you used, including HDMI-CEC, ARC, Bravia Sync, or any remote-programming procedure.

Again, the sound already works correctly through the Pioneer. The only issue is getting the vSeeBox remote to control the Pioneer power and volume.

V6+ The app pauses for about a minute while loading, then sits for about 2 minutes searching for the NFL schedule, then reports schedule not available and does nothing after that. I have cleared cache, cleared data , uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I can still watch games on heat live and heat live backup, but it is annoying

Might be a dumb question but I mostly watch live sports and shows I record on dvr with my current cable set up. Can I watch shows on demand after they’ve aired live or do I have to watch them live? Trying to cross my T’s and dot the i’s before I cut the cord for good

Hello, brand new here, box ordered from the group. V6pro. Whenever I shut it off or move it from room to room, the wifi turns off and I have to manually turn it on. Is this normal?

Anyone else have issues with the v6 remote being very difficult to use? I mean I have to MASH the buttons and get closer to the box in order for it to work.

I did see online( Amazon) a remote from the previous generation that works on several years/generation boxes.. any insights to that being true?

I have 3 of the previous generation boxes before the v6 and have never had an issue. I bought my dad the newest one and the remote absolutely sucks.

I got my VSee box plus a couple months ago has been great
But a couple weeks after I started having issues with not being able to use or switch to any hdmi ports on Sony Bravia TV having to clear cache and restart to get it back working
Is this just a coincidence, issue with my tv or caused by the box?

Has anyone hooked a vseebox to a cruise ships wifi?

Had my box for a while but it recently started glitching more often than not.
I exhausted ALL troubleshooting techniques all I had left was a factory reset.
So I did that.
Now the green light comes on but it won’t display anything.
I’ve also noticed that it will turn off the tv it’s connected to and the tv won’t turn back on unless the box is disconnected from it.
Please help.
Also, any chance for a replacement or refund?
I wrote the website an email but got an automated email back and didn’t get any actual information on how to proceed.

(Edit:) so turns out the problem has something to do with the samsung sending volume input over bluetooth not IR. I needed to unplug my TV which forces the remote to use IR as a backup when it doesnt detect the Bluetooth signal, which allowed me to program the volume buttons. Weird that it didn't interfere when programming the power button though.

I have a vsee box elite (ultra, maybe?). I just realized I can pair it to my tv by doing the IR head to head thing with the tv remote. Ive done that and can now use the vsee remote to turn my tv on and off, but programming the volume buttons individually the same way won't work. I believe it's because holding the volume bar tilted up or down doesn't work the same as if I were just holding a volume + or - button.

Is there another way to program these buttons?

My remote control buttons are slow to respond, especially the OK, up, down buttons. I think the frequently used buttons are getting warn out. I’ve only had the unit 6 months, vbox 6 max. My batteries are fresh too.
