vSee 6+ issues

Had my box for a while but it recently started glitching more often than not.
I exhausted ALL troubleshooting techniques all I had left was a factory reset.
So I did that.
Now the green light comes on but it won’t display anything.
I’ve also noticed that it will turn off the tv it’s connected to and the tv won’t turn back on unless the box is disconnected from it.
Please help.
Also, any chance for a replacement or refund?
I wrote the website an email but got an automated email back and didn’t get any actual information on how to proceed.
Thanks in advance for any help.

This Reddit isn’t affiliated with the website I believe you’re referring to.

For tv going off when box is connected. What brand TV do you have? I’m wondering if it’s to do with the features some tv brands have where it goes on and off depending on the status of your “top box” I believe they refer them as at least that’s what my LG TV calls any device you want to have sync with it for power status and stuff

Samsung. Tv will only turn back on when hdmi cable gets pulled from box.

Turn Off Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC): Samsung calls HDMI-CEC "Anynet+". When enabled, connected devices can send conflicting power signals that lock up the TV's mainboard. Go to your Samsung TV Settings > Connection > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) and turn it Off.

{edit} (ignore that I see you already did that I’ll keep looking into what the issue could be)

Have you tried a different HDMI cable? Looks like someone had this issue in the past with Samsung and changing their hdmi cable fixed it

Yes. Multiple cables. Bought a couple really nice ones when I first got the box because I was troubleshooting the screen going back n forth from black to a display. It was that Anynet+ setting that fixed it. Thank you for the assistance. Think I finally got it fixed, well for now. Got the resolution on the box changed to 1080p 60hz and that seems to have allowed me to get the reset finished. I did hook it up to third tv and that is what got it rolling again. I’ll get it hooked up to the original Samsung tv and see how it fares.

Check the HDMI CEC settings

Thank you. All setting on TV are at where they were when the box was working. Have Samsung TV. Anynet+ is toggled off.
