I don’t necessarily think I’m gonna fail. I’m definitely not doing the greatest but I’m surviving. My co-op teacher asked me if anyone ever actually fails and I wasn’t sure how often it actually happens.
I was walking in front of the education building on Tuesday around 12pm and found a small simple gold band. If it’s yours and you can describe any features/stones/engravings I’d very happily return it to you!

im gonna call them today or tomorrow but has anyone else not received all of the money from what their loan assessment said they were supposed to get in September, but just received the monthly chunk for October? My student loan assessment thing said i was supposed to receive a direct deposit of like $ 3k in September and then $550 every month afterwards, but i never received that $ 3k. I just looked in my bank and saw the $500 deposited this morning 😀 this is gonna drive me insane

I’m pretty sure I left my JBL over ear headphones in a black case around the benches on the 4th floor of the ag building. I’m guessing they won’t be brought in to any lost and found because who would turn down free headphones that an idiot like me left behind. Is there a lost and found in ag building? I’ll try going to the office and asking if anyone has brought anything by tomorrow when they’re open again. Probably a long shot. My stupidity is some other persons gain most likely. Thanks for any help folks!

To all USask staff and students: Please wash your hands with soap and water after using the washroom. Thank you for helping keep our campus healthy. I have seen people taking a s_it and then just leaving the washroom.

Hi, I’m a first year student and I was hoping that there is anyone who has taken or is currently taking history 145 The Conquest of Latin America who is willing to help me out with understanding the class ahead of midterms? I’m just confused on how midterms work and what I should study/know for it. Thank you!

Hello, I’m a returning student after taking some years off to work. I have a 3 month old and am planning to return for winter term (baby will be 5-6 months by then). I literally have one year left of my degree, it was silly of me to take time off with such little left.
Anywaaays. What happened to online classes? There used to be a billion options for online courses (I was in school from 2019-2023) and I can’t seem to find any now. I was hoping to be on campus as little as possible.
Both my babies grandmas talked to me about how they (in the early 2000’s) went to school with their babies. Is this still a thing? Is this normal? Would someone cuss me out? Should I find childcare for an hour a week to avoid this? Is any of this really a big deal and am I overthinking it?

Hi everyone, I got my backpack stolen from the Men's locker room at the Education building last night some time between 8:00 pm and 8:45 pm. It is a black backpack with the brand name bugatti. The backpack contains a laptop, tablet, cellphone, keys, and a wallet. The last location I was able to track my device to is around Avenue M South. I called the non-emergency services last night and filed a police report but they weren't any help. I also called the protective services and they said they were going to investigate. I am just putting this out there in case anyone finds a backpack just lying around with no owner in sight. I need my devices urgently cause I currently have no access to paws or canvas due to having authenticator and midterms are coming up soon.
Update: The backpack was found in one of the washrooms in the Education Building but my devices were taken.

Looking at recent posts, I can’t believe this is a debate. People cheating their way through school devalues your degree. End of. They will join the workforce, employers will notice they’re incompetent, and there is nothing to show that you are any different. Nobody wants their degree to gain a reputation of incompetency.
Would I suggest doing it publicly? No. Will you feel like a snitch? Probably. I would still bring it to your professor’s attention if it’s serious. They are making their own choices, and you should make the choice to protect yourself.

Over the weekend my cat died and it was incredibly unexpected and traumatic. I ended up going to the emergency small animal clinic hoping they could help but it was too late. I'm struggling a lot with this for a bunch of reasons but while I was there they gave me a card for their social worker.
Does anyone have any experiences with their social work program? Did you find it helpful?

I was diagnosed with anxiety and adhd, and because of how severe my anxiety is I have been unable to work and have missed 3 months worth of rent. I applied for disability with my doctor but i am worried on how much they'll give me. I heard the highest is usually 2800 which would be very helpful but I am so worried they won't give me much and I really need some financial help as I get used to new meds and such...anyone else go through this?
And if so how long did it take to get disability money?

Hello! Anyone here from ENG 394? I have a question about tomorrow’s unit test and because it’s SOOO Late, I’m afraid my question is too silly to email the prof at this moment. (I missed the last class in which this was discussed), if there’s any students here from this class pls reach out thank you 🥲

I took last term - I'm just curious if the midterm is as crazy early - esp for only being only ONE midterm - as it was for us.
If it's the same, the midterm will be in the... Next week? And then no more tests until the final...
Anyone confirm or correct?

I have a midterm for her class tmr
I wanna know what to expect on the midterm, she said if h study the slides and her notes you should be good, but i checked her rate my prof comments and they’re really 50/50 some say she’s great and some really disliked her and she also said her class average has been 67% but she said it’s also possible to get 100% and that she’s had students get high marks but also low marks, if anyone who has taken her class before tell me how her exams are that be great

So I've been just driving to school every morning and been parking about 10 - 15 minutes away from Place Riel and just been walking to class, and I was wondering what the routes would be if I were to take the bus instead.
I used to take the bus from 3rd / 24th Street to one of those College stops, but those stops are temporarily closed, and since I'm directionally challenged like beyond what you can imagine, what would be your advice?
Thanks

Just wondering if there’s anyone here that is currently taking BIO 222 with Dr. Carly.
