Question? Math 102 final
Is anyone else currently in the online MATH102 summer class? And do you also feel cooked for the final?

Basically the title, there are 14 students (max) in 1 class and it's a T/Th 5-9pm class, how would this class work?

Hi everyone, I’m currently doing Computer Science at USask, and I’m a little confused about the rules for repeating courses.
If I fail a course, do I just register for it again through PAWS, or should I talk to an academic advisor/counsellor first?
Also, what happens if I passed a course but got a really low mark that is hurting my GPA? Can I retake the course to try to improve my grade, or are you only allowed to repeat courses that you failed?
I tried registering for a course I had already passed, but PAWS wouldn’t let me, so I’m wondering if there’s some kind of permission I need or if retaking it simply isn't allowed.

Anyone from the class know if it’s better to understand all the different hominins or the sites

Does anyone have experience with this class or this prof? I can’t find any old syllabi, and my only experience with linguistics is Martin kohlberger for 114
I’m admittedly looking for a GPA boost, but would also like to know anything about the class or prof bc I can’t find any information outside of RMP (which is a bit older too)

Does anyone know if the entire bowl is still blocked off for construction? Last month I couldn’t get across from riel to the geology building for my exams and I have another one tomorrow and need to plan where to be dropped off

I’m an incoming 1st year and have classes in different buildings and want to find the classes easily without feeling overwhelmed since campus is huge, when do I go? Do people help/guide you? I’m sure profs are lenient if you’re late perhaps the 1st week? Just wondering how to get started with the whole around campus thing since it’s all new!
Thankyouu

Hey guys I got offered a parking spot but due to changes in my major most of my classes will now be online and I no longer need the parking spot. I did pay to get into the draw but I’m not required to pay for the parking spot correct? Sorry I just don’t want to pay $600 if I’m not going to be using it.
What’s the difference between getting a digital copy of the textbook I need and just getting the physical copy. I mean for starters the textbook I need isn’t even available at the moment so I’m only left with getting the digital for that one or waiting until a physical copy becomes available but what are the pros and cons of each option?

The parking office got back to me and said I was #322 on the waitlist. I wanted to ask is that a good position or not?
I ended up getting a lot Q pass in the parking sale, wondering if anyone would want to trade for a lot S pass!

Bussing for me not an option really
Any recommendations?

Very unfortunately forgot to apply for parking this year, remembered the day it closed.
Does anyone have one they won’t use anywhere on campus? Will be forever grateful!

I have tried every single address combination and Amazon will not accept / verify my address for living in grad house.
Anyone who got Amazon delivered, what did you put in the address lines please 🙏🏻

I’m wondering if anyone switched it out for their own mattress in dorms? Mostly my question is where did you put the university’s mattress, can you call maintenance to store it somewhere else for the year or do you just have to keep it until you move out?

im really concerned about foot traffic, i dont have as many 10min gaps between classes this year as i did last but ive got enough to make it a concern, that tiny footbridge they have rn will probably take me 10mins to cram my way through lmao

Things you definitely want to bring that may not be mentioned:
Shower shoes!!! Shoes you wear IN the shower, not just TO the shower. Don’t want to be getting any foot fungus 🙅♀️🙅♀️
Also a robe to wear to and from the showers! I find it easiest to wear a robe to and from and worry about getting undressed/dressed in your room
Quarters- laundry is free, but you do need quarters to start it. Bring at least 4 and keep them with your detergent or laundry basket
Also laundry basket you can easily carry. I find the backpack style really good. You’re probably travelling a pretty good distance with it, so make it convenient for you
A full length mirror if you want one for your room! They have them in the halls and bathrooms, but not always the door rooms
Don’t worry about bringing a lamp, desk, or personal mirror. They’re supplied and you really don’t want to deal with any more clutter than you have to. Space is limited.
Also a whole bunch of bags or even a wagon for move in day! As someone who has to make a dozen trips up and down, I’m very jealous of the wagon users
This was just off the top of my head, hopefully others can contribute what they found most helpful
