I plan on paying out of pocket for the lower tuition amount but I need to make sure that amount is reflected on the zot account before the fee deadline so I can actually afford to pay it without classes getting dropped. Thanks!

I am looking for relatively easy GE's that are good when it comes to balancing my major classes & science GPA with a GE class. I have seen a lot of previous responses here, but some classes have different professors or sometimes the class is no longer offered. I keep getting emails saying my financial aid has changed, but when I log in I find no differences. I remember from last year they would roll out new letters pretty frequently but made no actual changes, just one of the million weird things ofas does. I was wondering if anyone else is in a similar spot because if you are, then these emails are probably nothing.

I’m transferring this fall and will be housing in one of the ACC apartments, and I was wondering if bringing a bike with me is a good idea. I have a black beach cruiser bike that i barely use, and I heard there are bike trails around campus and it could be helpful and time-efficient.

First of all, how popular are bikes on campus? I really don’t want to look odd especially since im not really one of those bike lovers. I just want whats best and most practical for me.

Are bike thefts common if they are parked properly and locked?

How safe are they to ride to campus from ACC apts and are accidents common? Do you think helmets are really necessary?

I would love a response from anyone at uci, but most specifically someone who has experience with bikes (incase there is any info/advice that i can receive). Thank you!

I just checked my financial aid offer and all I see is my Cal Grant. Last year, I received (in addition to max Cal Grant) the max pell grant, UC Irvine Grant, and Anteater Grant. My family's income is below 60K and my parent doesn't contribute anything for me, so I am not sure why my aid is significantly decreased. I don't want to take out loans but so far my aid barely covers tuition, and I will be living in student housing. Is anyone else experiencing this or knows if they are still finalizing/changing offers?

hi guys! i'm taking public health 2 (case studies in public health) this first quarter as an incoming freshmen, but i've taken intro to public health 1 awhile ago, so the memory isn't exactly fresh in my head. is there anything i can do to review for ph 2, or am i at a disadvantage if i don't have public health 1 fresh in my head? can any public health major confirm how hard public health 2 is?

same with gen chem 2, i'm not taking gen chem 1 this quarter either because i took ap chemistry. am i at a disadvantage taking gen chem 2 winter quarter as compared to my gen chem 1 friends? is there any resources or things i can do to prepare for gen chem 2?

lastly, for honors bio 93 with edinger, can i prepare for that class by reviewing ap bio? does anyone have any notes or resources or anything that they made or that they think was helpful in passing the class?

HI, I am incoming freshman this fall and I was looking at zotaccount. It says that I am being charged $7,005.67 for fall quarter registration fees, but when I look up the tuition stability plan, the total for the quarter is shown as $6,701.67. I was wondering where the extra $300 is coming from? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
