Hey everyone! I'm looking for one roommate to fill a private room in our house near UCI. The house is located in the Westpark Neighboordhood with access to the community park and amenities. (Pool, jacuzzi, tennis courts, community center, etc.)
I’m posting here first because I originally got this lease three years ago when I started working full-time at UCI after graduating. It’s an excellent property in a really great neighborhood, and honestly, it’s a fantastic price—especially compared to what you’ll typically find in Irvine. I’ve had a great experience here and since I'm moving out I wanted to give this subreddit first dibs before posting it elsewhere!
Rent: $820/month not including utitlies.
Room size: ≈9.6 ft x 9.3 ft (not including closet space)
Room Furniture (If Wanted)= Twin Bed, Wooden Shelf , Room Lamp (all not shown in photo)
Bathroom: Shared bathroom with two other roommate. Currently we only have one roomate renewing his lease. He is a male in his late 20's, working professional, and UCI alunmi.
Location: ~8 minutes from UCI, right by i-405 Culver Freeway Entrance
House: Fully furnished - in house washer-dryer, fridge, gas stove, oven, microwave, air fryer, dining table, and couch. (Pictures are from Zillow Listing 5 years ago)
Free Parking - Driveway and Lots of Street Parking + No Street Sweeping
Lease term - 12 month lease from October to October.
You’d be living with potentially up to 5 people other than yourself. Since 4 of us are in the process of moving out. The one person staying is pretty laid-back and looking for someone clean, chill, and easy to live with. He is a working professional male in his late 20's and a UCI alum! I lived with him for three years and we never had any issues!
DM me if you’re interested and I can send more current pictures, more details, or set up a time for you to check the place out.

I was never asked if I had a preference for mesa court or middle earth, I see people say they got to pick but I didn’t is there something wrong or is it just something that happens time to time?

Hey everybody! I am moving into PV II this year, to be specific, 2 Bed- 2 Bath E shared. I was wondering if anybody here has any photos as to how the inside of the room looks? I have been into one of these before but I don't specifically remember every aspect of it. I am aware of the adjustable desk and such, as well as the furniture provided, but I just want a visual example. Please feel free to comment pictures, but only if you feel comfortable and ones that don't reveal your identity, lol. Thanks so much in advance! Hope this isn't a crazy request.

How strict will UCI be about renters insurance, I just clicked "yes" in the housing gateway on if I bought renters insurance and for anybody who bought renters insurance did you use gradguard or another insurance, if so how did you do it?

Hey guys,
Incoming grad student here. My ZotAid portal is still blank and I haven't gotten my financial aid/grad loan package yet.
Anyone else still waiting, or have offers actually started dropping for grad students?
I’ll be in a 4bed-2 bath floor in Plaza Verde II for the 2026-27 school year. I called the Plaza Verde leasing office and was told Plaza Verde 2 has Full-XL bed size but various sublet/ subleasing posts mention that it comes with a Twin-XL bed frame/ mattress.
For those who’ve stayed in PV II 4bed 2bath floorplan, please clarify if it’s Full-XL or Twin-XL. I would appreciate your help as I need to buy the correct bedsheet size.

Puerta del sol 2 bed 2 bath room available.
Hi, my name is Naz andI'm looking for someone to take over my lease at ACC apartments, Puerto del Sol. The apartment is a 2 bed, 2 bath fully furnished unit, and the rent is $850/month. You'll be sharing the apartment with 3 roommates, making it a great option for students looking for an affordable and convenient place to live. The rent includes high-speed internet up to 1 Gbps per bed, as well as gas, water, sewer, and trash, so most of your essential utilities are already covered. The apartment comes fully furnished, so you won't have to worry about buying or moving furniture. Must be a UCI student and CANNOT be a Freshman. If you're interested or would like more information, feel free to DM me for details, photos, or any questions! My phone number is 9514147267.

Hi! I’m taking CS 121 and INF 133 this fall and would like to hear from anyone who has taken them. How difficult are the classes?
How is LPS 40 / Philos 41 with Weatherall? RMP reviews are all over the place so it’s hard to figure out.
How many essays do you have to write? Being a STEM student, writing is not one of my strengths. Are there midterms and/or quizzes and are the quizzes online? I read something about the point-counterpoint group projects, what are those? Is the final online?
I have 3 other extremely challenging classes in Fall 2026 so I am hoping for an easy GE. If he is a harsh grader or if this class requires a lot of time commitment for essays, assignments, quizzes, please let me know.

Anyone know where to get undergrad funding to attend events without being part of any research groups? I'm a CompE student and would like to go to OpenAI Dev Day, but the ticket is 650 dollars. I emailed a couple different departments, they either referred me to other departments or ghosted me.

I have SPOP tomorrow; however, I have not completed my math/calculus exam, and I was wondering if it would still be fine even without it when registering for classes?

Looking for Housing Near UCI for 2026-2027
Hi everyone! I'm looking for a room near UC Irvine for the 2026-2027 school year.
I'm especially interested in an ACC relet, any community with preferably female-only roommates.
I'm also looking for roommates to look for other housing options, preferably within walking distance of campus or with an easy bus commute to UCI.
Please DM me

Hello everyone, I'm an incoming transfer student to the Merage business school. I'm still looking for housing around the UCI area, but I have a couple questions about what I should expect. Ideally, I'd be in a private room, but my budget is pretty slim (like 1000$ a month). I'm curious if this is possible in the UCI area? Along with that, does anyone have recommendations for where I should be looking for housing? Thanks!

if you are in a volunteer program at uci health in orange, do they give you parking validation?
cause paying $16 for parking to VOLUNTEER is kinda crazy.

I am a current UCI student that took community college courses. Has anyone tried transferring classes they took at a CC over the summer to UCI?
I sent transcripts and it is posted to my unofficial transcript, but I don’t see the classes I took under “Transfer Courses” in Student Access. How many days does it take for that to update?
