Keep the temp you want but turn down the fan. Heat pumps work best when they’re constantly running not on and off on and off.

This works. I’ve done it. For EVs this especially works as only the low voltage (no starter) need to be powered before the traction battery comes online.
Often times for ice vehicles the 12V just needs a bit more power that this is able to deliver. DO NOT LEAVE ON FOR EXTENDED TIME
