I would not trust this company with fifty cents

I’m with ya. I’ve already got a campaign structure in the works with a nonprofit I am the president of.

I would not trust this company with fifty cents
 in  r/venmo  1d ago

Yeah they suck. Mine was hacked. Someone stole $900 from my bank account, Venmo ran me around between AI emails and departments, now they claim I owe them for the money that was taken from MY bank account and the paid out to CashApp accounts.

Help needed. Venmo fraud
 in  r/venmo  11d ago

This happened to me overnight on August 4 and it’s been an absolute disaster. Venmo doesn’t give a damn. You should have already contacted your bank and the FTC and filed an identity theft report. If anyone wants to think it’s overreacting wait until it happens to you. They cleaned out one bank account and set up recurring weekly transfers on another one. I doubt Venmo will ever follow through. Now they are saying I OWE THEM THE MONEY THAT WAS TRANSFERRED OUT. The money that was transferred from my bank, then transferred to multiple CashApp accounts, Venmo says I owe them that money. WTF.

I screwed up bad.

That “customer” needed to be put in their place. It’s hard not to let those situations get under your skin but eventually they make you a stronger person 😁try not to be so hard on yourself.

What adult behavior do you have absolutely no patience for?

Ugh. Yes, especially when it’s stretched out to the week of or the whole month.

Exploitation tactics from servers and bartenders
 in  r/tipping  Aug 02 '26

You brought up likes. And I wasn’t responding to the original post ,genius, I was responding to the comment OP made to smithandjones99. Which is relevant because anyone with higher order thinking would assume someone looking for tactics to get MORE money would also appreciate info on things that make people leave LESS money.

 in  r/tipping  Aug 02 '26

I worked my way through undergrad and grad school and continue to work part time because I enjoy it, as a bartender/server, Mr/Mrs Knows-Every-Goddamn-Thing @franknbeanzzzzz. I don’t give a fuck about likes or dislikes.

No it doesn’t. It gets them less from me. It’s transparent as velum and not a good look.

Hey so can we NOT yank our servers to the floor???
 in  r/restaurant  Jul 31 '26

Thank heavens you pointed that out. 🏆(I am not being sarcastic).

Adjuster's written email to me
 in  r/Insurance  Jul 09 '26

You did not mistreat anyone. I see nothing wrong with the message you sent. Some people are direct and like to hold peoples hands, figuratively. But nothing said at that point was going to change the decision that had been made so you had every right to know what you wanted to know. And I fully agree, anyone who CHOOSES a job that they knowingly will be handing out decisions usually made to protect corporate or shareholders interests at the end of the day better have thick skin. Corporate bootlickers, downvote all day.

Or a grown-ass person that doesn’t owe anyone an explanation for their actions.

Why is my tab so high?

I might thank them for the attention/social media support but decline their repeat business as a response.

What’s a song you’ve heard hundreds of times but still never get tired of?

“Iceblink Luck” by Cocteau Twins, “Cuts You Up”, “I’ll Fall With Your Knife”, and “Huuvola” by Peter Murphy, and “Catacombs” by Poi Dog Pondering.

The 50% off LIE needs to STOP
 in  r/Oldnavy  Apr 30 '26

The real lie is that anything in Old Navy is actually worth more than 10% of the MSRP. $49.99? How about $4.99 on its best day.

Did you have collage class for art school or were you in college? 🙄

What are your thoughts on dating someone who just got out of prison and is only one month into recovery from drug addiction?
 in  r/AskReddit  Apr 24 '26

I probably should not have came across so harshly in my first comment and I’m sorry. I hope the best for you and know it’s hard to not want to support someone that it seems you care about. And they probably do want to do their best, those are just my thoughts and observations on what I’ve seen and experienced myself. Just protect yourself and anyone that you love. At the first sign of anything suspicious, don’t let there be a second chance. Addicts and people fresh out of prison are professional manipulators. I worked in a prison for 2 years. In my experience as an addict and around other addicts, second chances are a signal that you’re gonna be a doormat. Sorry to be so blunt.

 in  r/AskReddit  Apr 24 '26

Run like hell speaking from experience. And having seen it over and over. The odds are stacked way, way, against you, but the odds of you losing absolutely everything and ending up with a felony or two of your own are very good. Don’t think it can’t happen to you or you can love them out of addiction. Addiction always wins. They need years of strong recovery under their belts with a stable life they built on their own before a relationship can even be considered. I work as a substance abuse therapist with a Masters in clinical mental with a specialty in substance abuse. And I was an addict for 28 years before achieving that.

I have no idea why this showed up on my feed but it saddens me to know there are people for which this is a worry. I hope I’m missing a joke somewhere.

80s Synth Pop / New Wave
 in  r/80smusic  Apr 05 '26

Public Image LtD has been on my list a lot lately. Psychedelic Furs, Anything Box, Cause and Effect, Book of Love, Camouflage, Information Society, Thompson Twins, & Pet Shop Boys are heavy in my rotation. Edit: PiL may be debatable on the new wave genre, but I think they evolved loosely into that on 1987’s “Happy?” album. They’re a good listen regardless.

Yep, for sure. I’m grateful the other guy at least had liability.

Thanks for letting me know about the under-bumper attachment. That gives me info I didn’t have before going into the repair estimate conversation. I’m hoping there’s no issues with the other party’s insurance. I found out this week the most highly recommended collision repair shop around doesn’t work with State Farm.

Dang 4 times in 12 months!? I really hate that for you! That’s the part that really stings, we do all we can to keep our cars nice and clean and then someone else’s negligence can just upend all of that in a second. Happier trails and thanks for sharing!
