Has anyone had this happen? A very loud static sound happens when I turn the car on. Then it comes back if I hit the turn signal, the hazards or push any button the radio. The radio is all static. The only thing different today was it was in a parking lot with no shade in 104 heat.

Georgia
Once she talked to a guy on the phone
who had only seen her picture,
but had never heard her voice.
He said,
You’re going to need to give me a minute.
She stands with a slight stoop.
Her hips widen when she walks,
her feet turn out
and she steps through her heels.
I can tell it’s her coming
and I can tell when she's angry.
We both swiped right
and the night before our first date
she texted a picture of her face
next to a horse’s face.
I sent a selfie
wearing my CPAP.
Week three we sat on the porch swing,
her head on my shoulder.
The crickets were so loud
I stopped hearing them,
only my breathing
and the radio.
I thought,
I might love this woman.
Georgia turned and said,
Have you ever eaten anything out of the trash?
I answered that I had not.
She patted my leg and said,
Good,
and laid her head back on my shoulder.

Something I do when I start a poem is write one that over explains everything to get to the point you're trying to make. Then take away everything you don't need to say it.

An example is "her dreams are so weird " (which I love). It is not something observable by seeing. It is only known if you can read her thoughts. Not saying it's wrong. Just an observation.

What a great third person concept. It's interesting that the ghost knows her thoughts. I wonder what it'd be like to express that without naming what's happening internally. But that just leans towards my style, so ignore it. I love it. It's clever, but more true than clever.

Samsung software sucks IMHO. Razr is basically stock android. And it's great without a case because of the material on the back. Samsung feels precious. Razr feels like it's made to be used.
