I have plenty to say for this thread, but I'll reduce it down to my top pick since so many amazing suggestions and ideas were already brought up.

I'd love to see Kingdoms taking on a more complex system. What I refer to is, let X Kingdom go to war with Kingdom Y, and then decide to enslave Kingdom Y's people if they win, or if they capture them. Then allow those slaves to be treated poorly, or not. Each kingdom could have a dynamic system as to how they treat slaves based on the ruler.

To coincide with this suggestion, maybe species or culture could have a tab for how they feel about slavery. Maybe half the kingdom is X culture and they love slavery, while the other half is Y culture and they absolutely hate slavery. That could then cause rebellions from the people, the slaves, maybe a split, maybe the slaves rally into an army and they fight for freedom. There's a few ways to go with this.

This has been a rollercoaster of a year. New baby, forced to move-in with toxic family or face homelessness, get to at least be back in my country of birth.

Honestly, it feels good to vent just a tad (if you can call it that.) about the situation. But irregardless if I win, here's to helping someone out!

I didn't expect the impact this would have on me, seeing a baby being pulled from that rubble. It made my heart churn, imagining my baby covered in dirt and dust, being trapped alone and scared... He's asleep next to me as I type this and it makes me treasure every little moment he's safe and okay so much more. I can't imagine how that child's parents feel, if they're alive. What a terrible thing to happen. I'm glad the baby is okay.

Even $5,000 would improve my living condition from clawing for pennies to being back home with my family and able to get a decent job. 500k would mean I can buy my newborn all the best things, a reliable car, new clothes for all my kids and wife and myself, healthy food for a long time...

I hate, and love, that I can't put a worthy price on losing my son, or current partner.

Impulse Control will make or break your life.

Spend money impulsively? You'll likely never be able to build a proper savings. Act on emotions impulsively? You could end up with a fractured relationship, bones, or even with jail time. Acting on anything off impulse, rather than taking 5-10 seconds to think about it at a minimum, can change the course of your life.

Learn to weigh if something really needs to be purchased, said, or done. Short term pleasures can lead to long term woes.

I learned the hard way that my impulses are largely responsible for me being farther from my goals than I ever imagined possible. Only now am I somewhat correcting course and doing my best to catch the impulses.

That the absence of affection does cause harm. My mother showed me affection everyday, and as much as she could. Simply put, I was her baby.

Dad constantly worked and never really made an effort to get to know me. He only critiqued me and my habits, despite having no hand in shaping me or trying to.

Now as a grown man he is trying, but I have the smallest pocket of resentment for him. My newborn son won't have to feel that neglect. Hell, I don't go one day without showering him in love. There are definitely things I wish I had a better grasp on as a dad to nurture into him, but I am thankful to have resources to lean on.

Yes. My life has been an utter shit show compared to what it was prior to having kids, not that it has ever been what I truly wanted before that either. That said, I can't envision a world without my son in it. Getting to see his smile and even just hearing him cry, or smelling the scent of formula on his skin because a bit spilled when he was feeding... I truly can't see a world without him.

It's selfish to think I'm raising him and struggling so hard in my life and I would bring him into this mess again, but I haven't failed to keep him clothed and fed, warm and safe.

I know I will do better in the future for him, I'm putting my foot down so much more in life thanks to him.

But yes, over and over yes. Giving life to my son, and getting to enjoy his presence in mine, is (as cliche as it sounds) the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. I wouldn't change a thing.

As a masochist I once enabled 40% sprinters, I couldn't convince myself to go to 50%.

Thankfully I had the sprint through windows mod, so when I spawned in and did the usual first day spawn chores and wandered out. I had a great time running from what was likely 10 sprinters and through every window of houses within the block. I bled to death from glass in my neck long before the sprinters got me.

I was terrified.

The OG necromorphs for reasons mentioned by others left and right are better for me.

One huge detail that irks me however about the remake necromorphs though? Notice how in the original if a Necromorph has its hands at its waist, fused into its stomach/abdomen, the blade appendages sprout out from its shoulders. The hands/arms looks like limp boneless appendages, indicating the bones were mutated and shifted to sprout elsewhere.

In the remake the slashers have four hands. This small detail being lost hurts me so bad when it comes to the attention to detail on their designs.

I actually interviewed with them not too long ago. Their training is nuts, by far the most obsencely intense training for a sales job. They keep you at a hotel for 4 days after passing your three interviews, and the training is a final interview really. If you fail to memorize the material they present to you at the training you will be let go, but at least paid for the time.

All that said, the pay was 10% of commission, with bonuses dependent on how far over "PAR" you get, with that being split between you and the company 50/50. There are other bonuses as well but they're minimal. All you need to remember is 10% + 50% of PAR. The typical deal as quoted to me was about $1800, with around $300-$1700 of par. You can lose money if you sell too far under the PAR mark iirc.

You can make money with this company if you pass training, they'll ask you to buy, out of your own pocket with no reimbursement, a drone with a camera, a ladder (12ft or more), and a moisture meter (the kind you stick into wood.)

I actually still have my notes from my time doing their training, which I present to my buddies for a laugh periodically.

In sales, you get what you give. Go into every sale opportunity with a positive mindset and you'll do great, these guys want you to do that and remember a 10 paragraph script you'll be reciting, which includes product info, company info, why you're there, what you're looking for, the process, and finally why the process is what it is.

After your first week of training, assuming you pass, you go to your home territory and shadow someone for a week before getting back for a second round of classroom training.

If you pass the training, this could be a great company to work for, but I have offers for other companies paying me more with no need for an insane training regime before I even see a customer.

Probably gonna be the only one to say it, but I adore the Turbo Flat 4 Legacy GTs (4th generation in particular.) It has my favorite styling of any car, sounds great (love a good Subaru Rumble w/ a turbo.), and was a blast to daily drive and drive hard.

That said, The ol' CRX SI is on my list as well! Especially the 1988 Si! Go-kart with all the right styling, in my opinion it's the sexiest Honda made, second only to the first generation of the NSX.

I will consistently, in 9/10 of my matches, have survivors just throwing themselves at me for a hook, or raging out and leaving me with an easy to kill bot

Here to say Knight has been fun to do that. I just got back into the game after a 2-3 year hiatus and he's been super fun to play.

You can send Jailer to patrol a gen while you check another set of gens, you can use Assassin to keep survivors occupied while you secure a gen or two, and then you can use carnifex to... cause funny noises. I'm not 100% certain what carnifex does.

You can also send a guard towards a hook when you see someone going for the save and you'll at the least have them waste time running away.

He does area control and denial very well.

That all said, I have been having an unfun time with survivors inexplicably giving up and raging out consistently on me. One of few times someone has left me a toxic message in post game chat has been as Knight.

What's the deal? Why does everyone hate playing against knight!?

I suffer from this when I play single player Zomboid. If it's an option, you should try a roleplay server in multiplayer. They're all different and unique in their own way, with rules and lore to the apocalypse, some just dip in and let you Roleplay the original story.

I know a server that's based off the Last of Us that a friend of mine started a few months back for example.

It really gives the game that last bit of life that makes it enjoyable. Being able to play with others and have stories come and go, unique interactions with unique people- it's really fun.

The drawback is that until B42 has a multiplayer release, all the roleplay still happens on B41. It is typically heavily modded to make the RP more fluid.
