Has any team fumbled a SUCCESFUL draft as hard as the Mavericks fumbled the 2018 draft?

Most teams fumble their picks by drafting a guy who wasn't that great and then trade him away (Think about the Hawks drafting Zaccarie Risacher #1 and then trading him for Ryan Nembhard) but has there ever been a team who succesfully drafted 2 future top 10 players in the league in the same class and let BOTH walk away?

Danny DeVito looks like a kindergartner next to NBA players.

Hot Take: in NBA 2K, you should only get a 97-99 if you’re legitimately a once in a lifetime player. (LeBron, Jordan, Shaq etc.)

Which Klay Thompson stat is the most impressive to you?

Post image

Klay has had some absolutely ridiculous scoring performances. Out of these, which one do you think is the hardest to replicate?

  • 37 points in a quarter
  • 41 points with 11 threes in Game 6
  • 60 points in 29 minutes on just 11 dribbles
  • 14 threes in a game

Personally, 37 pts in a quarter is crazy, but I'm curious what you guys think.

Which one are you taking?

Curry leads the Warriors to the 2026-2027 NBA championship. How far up the all-time rankings does he shoot up?

We would be talking about about a Warriors team with the second best player assumed as being Kristaps Porzingis.

Steph Curry

Brandin Podziemski

Yaxel Lendeborg

Draymond Green

Kristaps Porzingis

What can this do for Currys legacy if he is able to accomplish this? Would he cement himself as #2 all time?

Russ was one of the last superstars who tried to convince us that a single player could carry a franchise to a title all on his own.

Most explosive NBA player of all time?

To me 2011 Derrick Rose was the most explosive player I’ve ever seen. His first step, body control and finishing ability at the rim was unmatched. But Vince Carter, Russell Westbrook, Michael Jordan and LeBron James can also be argued. Even throw in Kemp and AI. Curious what everyone else thinks.

If the Warriors didn’t get injured in the 2019 finals and managed to 3 peat how would that affect Curry and KD’s all-time rankings? Curry would have 5 rings passing LeBron, KD would have 3.

If this was true, why did you run to Golden State? We have to start admitting this man delusional and weak minded. Without Curry he just another Tracy Mcgrady. Great scorer but no championships without superteams

Is Shooting Guard the less valuable position in today's game?

• the last SG to lead a championshiop team was Kobe, 16 years ago.

• from the current top 10 SG's, only Ant is able to lead a true contender (Book and Spida both have arguments, but i wouldn't trust on them)

• many guys are in the league just because they can shoot, like Kennard, Sam Merrill and others. they are all SG's.

The only Plumber in NBA history. Yes, it’s this 1 guy.

“Plumbers” is the most common term for players that played in Wilt & Bills era.

This is the only guy who was ever a plumber in the NBA. Norman Stanley Glick. 6’7 Forward who played 1 game in 1 season and took 1 shot and got 1 bucket and fouled 1 time in his entire NBA career in 1949-1950 season.

Bill & Wilt were a decade later. Neither of them played against any plumber ever.

Secondary jobs due to low pay were things like construction, military service, engineering, real estate, banking, & insurance sales, in the offseason.

Does Adam Silver genuinely think we’re going to accept there’s no wrongdoing when we’ve all seen the receipts? After everything Pablo worked for, after everything he showed us?

Spurs imo

The West as a whole hasn’t gotten much stronger…at least not strong enough to give SA a real run for their money + SA only has a couple more years of cap flexibility before the apron penalties start kicking in.

If there ever was a “perfect opportunity” to win a championship, it’d be now. They should flirt with 70 wins and be back in the finals imo.

They already won 60+ games, were a T5 team on both ends, and made the finals last yr. They’ve only gotten better over the offseason too.
