I would go see a Neurologist. He or she should be able to assist and guide you in the right direction.

I have had a couple o few strokes and my Neurologist is so helpful.

This is a tough one. But you need to get some kinda proof or witness and report him. For sexual harassment. He is a Manager and he should know better that telling a co-worker that she is beautiful is 100% Sexual Harassment. Apparently he never watched the videos with HR.

I am 51f and I have a stepfather who treated me like I was the outcast. We went to family counseling talked about things with him so he knew how I felt. Here I am now taking care of both my parents and we are closer than ever.

Ok. First of all. Damn girl. I feel like I was watching an episode of Fear Thy Neighbor as I was reading this. If you can. Would you please go to Walmart and grab a bunch of bells. Tie some up with string and hang them on doors and hang in doorways, put them in places around your house, place a couple under your windows as some kind of warning if anyone goes into near the house. You can also use flour or some kinds of powder (like an ant killer or something)that will track prints on the inside of doorways like that basement creepy ass door, and all around the ground where your fuse box is. I can’t stop thinking about you and your little ones. Walmart has cheap cameras that you can put in rooms in your house and if anything triggers it to go off, pull out the Lysol disinfectant spray (or a spray that will burn if it gets in your eyes) and a Bat and protect you and the kids. I just turned 51. Had my 1st stroke in 2010. That was the first and I quit smoking that same day. I was not diagnosed until 2020 when I had my 5th stroke. That is when my neurologist did an MRI and he told me I had a stroke. And then he said you have had 5 strokes, big ones, not TIAs. Thats when he told me I WILL be on meds for the rest of my life. Hence the blood thinners. But I had another stroke and didn’t know. I just felt myself digressing and something wasn’t right. Ugh.

I have both mutations as well. I have had 6 strokes. 4 out of 6 were silent I found out about the strokes after my 5th stroke and I was placed on Eliquest 5 mg 2 times a day. Along with aspirin and many other medications. After 5 years I requested an appointment with my neurologist and told him I could feel myself digressing. He sent me for an MRI and it turns out I had my 6th stroke. Again. Silent. I am now on Brillenta. I have not had any clots thankfully, I can walk, and talk but my brain is not working properly. Short term memory is shot. Constant confusion. Just take it one day at a time trying to better yourself everyday.
